The New Design of Fish Cake Making Machine

Fish cake is a popular cuisine among Thai people. However, the production process of pieces of raw fish cake still uses human labors so the production yield is quite low and it takes more consumption time. Moreover, the sizes of pieces of raw fish cake are not uniform. Therefore, the researchers aimed to design and construct a fish cake making machine to help improve the practical fish cake production process. The results showed that the fish cake making machine could manage raw fish cake into 20 even, round shaped pieces with a 50 mm diameter, 8 mm thickness within a minute. It required electrical power from an electric motor harboring 220 volt (AC), 60 watts, and speed at 28 rpm. The consumed electrical power was approximately 0.19 baht per hr. The results showed that with the qualification of fish cake making machine that can make several pieces of raw fish cake at the same size, the users satisfied it at least 70%. It is expected that more development of this fish cake machine will be tentatively worldwide applied in the food industry.

Keamanan pangan merupakan hal penting yang perlu diperhatikan dalam maraknya perkembangan industri pangan di Indonesia. UU RI No. 12 Tahun 2012 mengamanatkan bahwa keamanan pangan dapat dijaga dengan memperhatikan program higiene dan sanitasi produksi serta perancangan sistem kerja dan K3 suatu industri. Keamanan pangan identik dengan kehalalan pangan karena kaidah halal adalah menjaga pangan dari kemungkinan cemaran yang membahayakan. Kewajiban bagi setiap produk yang masuk, beredar, dan diperdagangkan di wilayah Indonesia untuk bersertifikat halal tercantum pada pasal 4 Undang-Undang No. 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal (UU JPH). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi keamanan dan kehalalan pangan pada proses produksi Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) XYZ berdasarkan standar Cara Pengolahan Pangan yang Baik Industri Rumah Tangga (CPPB-IRT), Work Improvement in Small Enteprises (WISE), dan Sertifikasi Jaminan Halal (SJH) LPPOM MUI. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi, diketahui bahwa terdapat 18 ketidaksesuaian CPPB-IRT, 10 ketidaksesuaian WISE, dan 9 ketidaksesuaian SJH LPPOM MUI pada proses produksi IKM XYZ. Berdasarkan diskusi yang telah dilakukan, disimpulkan bahwa ketidaksesuaian yang menjadi fokus perbaikan dapat dikelompokan dalam 1 kategori utama, yaitu kategori Program Higiene dan Sanitasi IKM sehingga usulan perbaikan yang tepat diimplementasikan adalah penyusunan dokumen Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP). Abstract[Improvement of IKM XYZ Production Process Based on the Regulations of CPPB-IRT, WISE, and SJH LPPOM MUI] Food Safety is an important thing to note in the middle of the development of the food industry in Indonesia. UU RI Number 12 of 2012 mandates that food safety can be maintained by paying attention to hygiene and sanitation programs, work system design, and also occupational safety and health in the production process of an industry. The thing that is closely related to food safety is halal practice. Halal is a guarantee of food safety because the implementation of halal means getting rid of things that are harmful to humanity and the environment. The obligation for every product that entered, circulated, and traded in Indonesian territory for halal certification are listed in Article 4 of UU RI Number 33 of 2014 concerning Guaranteed Halal Products. This study aims to identify the condition of food safety and halal practice in IKM XYZ based on the regulations of Cara Produksi Pangan yang Baik Industri Rumah Tangga (CPPB-IRT), Work Improvement in Small Enterprises (WISE), and Halal Assurance Certification of LPPOM MUI, and also to compile improvement proposal based on the identification results. The identification results show that in the IKM XYZ production process, there are 18 elements that not following CPPB-IRT regulations, 10 elements that are not following WISE regulations, and 9 elements that are not following Halal Assurance Certification of LPPOM MUI. Based on the results of discussion that have been carried out with the owner and the supervisor of IKM XYZ, elements that are being the focus of improvement can be grouped into 1 main category, that is Program Hygiene dan Sanitasi IKM. So, the improvement proposal that fits is the documentation of Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).Keywords: CPPB-IRT; food safety; IKM, SJH LPPOM MUI; WISE

An analysis has been carried out to treat the meat grinder machine. The care of the meat grinder machine is important to help the production process of rendang suir craftsmen. Meat grinder machine consists of several components, namely the engine, electric motor, pulleys, V-belts, reservoirs, and spindle shaft. With the components above, this meat grinder machine is expected to work optimally with satisfactory results. The meat grinder machine treatment consists of repairing, repairing, total care. Canceled maintenance consists of recovery, lubrication, and periodic checks. Repair treatments include maintenance of the blade, bearing care, pulley care and belt. While total maintenance is carried out after the engine has been running long enough. The result of the treatment that has been done is a machine that can be run properly which can produce a maximum of 30 kg / hour

Maos Lor Village is one of 10 villages in Maos Sub-District, Cilacap Regency. The number of small industries is 18 businesses with 61 workers and home industries with 78 businesses with 66 workers. Small industries and home industries in Maos Lor Village are dominated in the food industry. The income of small industries and home industries in Maos Lor Village is not satisfactory because there are obstacles in some production sectors, one of which is production techniques. Simple technology makes the product less attractive and hygienic. This problem is experienced by the food industry in Maos Lor Village, one of which is vegetable donut business. The vegetable donut business managed by Dusun Lancar residents is less productive because it is constrained by the production process. In this community service some problems in the vegetable donut business in Maos Lor Village were overcome by making improvements to the production machinery, so that it was hoped that vegetable donut production could run smoothly and production could increase.

This paper presents a method for selecting the optimal transmission ratio for an electric motor for applications for which the desired torque and motion at the transmission output are known a priori. Representative applications for which the desired output torque and motion are periodic and known include robotic manipulation, robotic locomotion, powered prostheses, and exoskeletons. Optimal transmission ratios are presented in two senses: one that minimizes the root-mean-square (RMS) electrical current and one that minimizes the RMS electrical power. An example application is presented in order to demonstrate the method for optimal transmission ratio selection.

In order to improve the electrical conversion efficiency of an electric tractor motor, a load torque based control strategy (LTCS) is designed in this paper by using a particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO). By mathematically modeling electric-mechanical performance and theoretical energy waste of the electric motor, as well as the transmission characteristics of the drivetrain, the objective function, control relationship, and analytical platform are established. Torque and rotation speed of the motor’s output shaft are defined as manipulated variables. LTCS searches the working points corresponding to the best energy conversion efficiency via PSO to control the running status of the electric motor and uses logic and fuzzy rules to fit the search initialization for load torque fluctuation. After using different plowing forces to imitate all the common tillage forces, the simulation of traction experiment is conducted, which proves that LTCS can make the tractor use electrical power efficiently and maintain agricultural applicability on farmland conditions. It provides a novel method of fabricating a more efficient electric motor used in the traction of an off-road vehicle.

<p>Tofu meatballs is a snack that is made from tofu as the mayor<br />ingredients with meat dough stuffing through the process of steaming and<br />frying. Tofu meatballs become one of food innovation from tofu which serve<br />delicious taste. EQ company in Karanggeneng Village, Boyolali District has a<br />production capacity of 700-800 tofu meatballs on Monday-Saturday and 400<br />tofu meatballs on holiday. The problems faced by the home-processing in<br />home industry know meatballs are among others related to the quality of tofu<br />meatballs that have not met the expectations of buyers. Another obstacle<br />faced is the stagnant business conditions due to the lack of product<br />diversification, the equipment used is still limited and simple, the production<br />capacity is minimal, the packing of tofu meatballs produced is also less<br />attractive. Program implemented (1) Introduction of production process<br />know meatballs technology that meets quality management of processed<br />foods ASUH (safe, healthy, whole and halal); (2) Introduction of appropriate<br />technology for the processing of tofu meatballs in the form of refrigerator<br />machinery and other means of production improvement; (3) Introduction of<br />technological variations of packaging materials such as hand sealer machine;<br />(4) Management of Food Industry License (PIRT); (5) Simple marketing and<br />bookkeeping training. This has been set forth in the letter of cooperation<br />agreement. The results of dedication activities that have been done by the<br />dedication team are coordinating with partners about problem solving effort,<br />training on how to make meatball tofu with quality management concept<br />"ASUH" that is safe, healthy, whole and halal.<br />Keywords: ASUH, quality, tofu meatballs, production process, management.</p>

Besides the basic production achieved in any company, there is also an auxiliary production influencing the smooth performance of the basic production process. Thus, an efficient basic production is inconceivable without equipping the machines and plants with SDVs (Verifying Devices Tools), without needing the reorganisation and modernisation of machines and plants, the timely maintenance and repair of working machines and plants, etc. The repair activity is based on the repair cycle structure—technical overhauls, current repairs, overall repairs—the selected method for performing the repairs—as needed, by firm planning, after controlling the state of the machines, preventively-planned, etc.—how to perform the repairs—centralised, decentralised, mixed—etc. The modernisation and reorganisation of the machines applies the method of single indicators, the method of the indicators systems, the method of comparing costs in time and space, etc. The production of SDVs is based on their structure and classification and implies both the activity to design them based on some appropriate methods and the way to locate and structure the departments or divisions that produce SDVs. The energetic department—thermal power, electrical power, compressed air—plays a very important role in any industrial company and refers to the manufacture and use of power.

Electric driving is one of the main courses in energy science. It represents the relationship between an electric motor as a tool to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy and between a managed or mechanical device that drives it through belts or gears. In the current research, a three-phase synchronous motor 1200 Watt was used to drag an electric vehicle with a rated load of 150 kg and at a speed of up to 40 km per hour. Transmission from the electric motor to the vehicle's tires is done through a gear to rotate the wheels of the vehicle. Batteries are used to store continuous electrical power from a 220-volt alternating power source using the DC/AC inverter. Solar energy 150 Watt has also been used by using a solar panel placed on the roof of the vehicle. Mechanical energy has also been used by mechanical pedal. The vehicle was tested on a flat and sloping road in Baquba / Diyala province / Iraq. The efficiency tests proved the acceleration and balance of the car are good and matched with the theoretical calculations.
