Tamangapa village, Ma’rang district is part of the community development program conducted by Universitas Muslim Indonesia in Pangkajene Kepulauan regency. The local shrimp farmers of Tamangapa village have been facing major issue due to expensive artificial feed and high mortality rate. In order to solve the needs of feed and high mortality rate for farmed fish or shrimp, the source of the natural ingredients using kopasanda leaves Chromolaena odorata L is required. The use of a natural ingredient is also used to prevent the vibriosis using simple technology such as the utilization of local raw materials which is affordable and locally available. The present community service aimed to provide the proper knowledge and skills to members of the fish/shrimp farmer’s group through counseling, training and mentoring. This community service program encouraged the local farmers to be able to utilize the local raw materials as a source of shrimp feed, use the feed pellet machine, and packaging leading to independent feed production. The participatory training method, lectures, forum group discussions, and practices of making shrimp feed and packaging were applied. Community Service is one part of the direct contribution from academics, in this case the Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University to the community. On this occasion the Trisakti University FEB team had the opportunity to provide training on Material Flow Cost Accounting (MFCA) for MSMEs. This training is considered important considering that the understanding of MSME actors in terms of the flow cost of material is still very minimal, so that in the implementation of their business there are still very few who apply it in the production process. This training aims to educate MSME actors in terms of flow cost accounting for the use of their production materials, MSMEs can sort out the types and types of materials to be used so as to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of production to increase sales and business profits. PKM training will be carried out using an online method considering the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, which until now has not allowed face-to-face/off-line training. The output of this PKM will be published to the public so that it can provide wider benefits.

Despite the obvious compromises to efficiency that must be made when producing small quantities, the shipbuilding industry sometimes rules out or fails to consider some of the efficient techniques and methodologies of mass production manufacturing. In this paper a comparison and contrast is made between the methods of mass production and small quantity manufacturing. Also revealed in this paper are the benefits from the use of a mass production process engineering technique and a methods analysis technique during the performance of the National Shipbuilding Research Program SP-8 Panel Task ES-8-21. The use of a mass production process engineering technique is explained as a solution to a methods problem of excessive travel for tools in shipyard equipment installation by outside machinists. The paper concludes with a promotion of this specific application of mass production methodology in shipbuilding and a promotion of the re-evaluation of mass production techniques by shipyards as a vehicle for productivity improvement.

Abstract[Improvement of IKM XYZ Production Process Based on the Regulations of CPPB-IRT, WISE, and SJH LPPOM MUI] Food Safety is an important thing to note in the middle of the development of the food industry in Indonesia. UU RI Number 12 of 2012 mandates that food safety can be maintained by paying attention to hygiene and sanitation programs, work system design, and also occupational safety and health in the production process of an industry. Fish cake is a popular cuisine among Thai people. However, the production process of pieces of raw fish cake still uses human labors so the production yield is quite low and it takes more consumption time. Moreover, the sizes of pieces of raw fish cake are not uniform. Therefore, the researchers aimed to design and construct a fish cake making machine to help improve the practical fish cake production process. The results showed that the fish cake making machine could manage raw fish cake into 20 even, round shaped pieces with a 50 mm diameter, 8 mm thickness within a minute. It required electrical power from an electric motor harboring 220 volt (AC), 60 watts, and speed at 28 rpm. The consumed electrical power was approximately 0.19 baht per hr. The results showed that with the qualification of fish cake making machine that can make several pieces of raw fish cake at the same size, the users satisfied it at least 70%. It is expected that more development of this fish cake machine will be tentatively worldwide applied in the food industry.
