Explores empirically the formative factors of the scenic quality concerned with highway landscape evaluation. Based on earlier works the formative factors are comprehensively considered and summed up. Then EFA (exploratory factor analyses) and CFA (confirmatory factor analysis) are made by way of 112 questionnaires, which have all been completed and returned to develop a 6-dimensional model to reveal the scenic landscape beauty. Fitting the model by introducing SEM (structural equation modeling) the formative factors are verified including the six scenic quality aspects as follows: vividness, variety, cultural, naturalness, comfort and security.

The present paper reexamines the psychometric properties of the Quality Perception Questionnaire (QPQ), an Italian survey instrument measuring patients’ perceptions of the quality of a recent hospital admission experience, in a sample of 4400 patients (Mage = 56.42 years; SD = 19.71 years, 48.8% females). The 14-item survey measures four factors: satisfaction with medical doctors, nursing staff, auxiliary staff, and hospital structures. First, we tested two models using a confirmatory factor analysis (structural equation modeling): a four orthogonal factor and a four oblique factor model. The SEM fit indices and the χ² difference suggested the acceptance of the second model. We then did a simulation using a bootstrap with 1000 replications. Results confirmed the four oblique factor solution. Third, we tested whether there were significant differences with respect to age or sex. The multivariate general linear model showed no significant differences in the factors with respect to sex or age.

<p>The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of indicators of good governance in public organizations to improve the level of employees’ job satisfaction. The methods were confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling using LISREL software and SPSS18 packages. The population consisted of all faculty members and staff of Lorestan University (N=500), which 217 of them were selected systematically using Kerjisi Morgan table. To collect the data 2 standardized questionnaires consisted of good governance and job satisfaction (residents and Ramadan, 2011) were used and the reliability of the questionnaire was (0.73) by calculating Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the indicators of good governance in the organization will lead to an increase in employees’ job satisfaction.</p>

The present era of eGovernance is considered as technology-driven which enhance productivity along with amplified failure rates. The process, citizens,technology, and resources are the pillars of eGovernance but the emphasis is only upon technology which postulates for the development of updated integrated eGovernance model for accomplishing future requirements. Objectives:The present study endeavors to discover the diverse vital constructs to develop an integrated eGovernance model to augment efficiency and social influence. Methods: The NeSDA and OSI methodology are taken as a basis to extract constructs of eGovernance model and attained constructs and relative relationships ascertained through Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (EFA and CFA). Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) is applied to develop and propose an integrated eGovernance model to augment efficiency and social influence. Findings: The empirical outcome illustrate the significant positive impact of eleven accumulated constructs on Intention to Use and Service Quality of the eGovernance initiative which ultimately augments efficiency and social influence of eGovernance initiatives. Novelty: The proposed model makes a significant contribution by integrating vital constructs on the basis of empirical outcomes and applies them to the context of the eGovernance. The suggested model will guide the policymakers and developers of eGovernance systems to focus on identified constructs to maintain and enhance efficiency and social influence. The society awareness in consuming halal, safe, and healthy foodstuff within these past few years kept on increasing. This was closely related to responsible food manufacturers which produced sustain halal foods, as evidenced by ownership halal certification. In order to increase the satisfaction of food producers and to maintain their commitment to extend the halal certificates, the quality of halal authority service should always be enhanced. This study aims to identify the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) value, to determine the influence of halal label and product attributes toward customer’s satisfaction and loyalty of meatball stalls in Yogyakarta, and to identify the influence of halal label toward selling volume on certified meatball stalls. The instruments used were questionnaires containing 21 quality attributes of halal certificate renewal service. Analyses were performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The model was composed of seven latent variables: halal certification, brand, price, taste, service, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Result of the research showed that taste and halal certification have significant effect on the customer’s satisfaction and loyalty of certified meatball stalls. Halal certification have affected the certified meatball stalls in Yogyakarta by increasing the selling volume of 25-37.5%.

Untuk mengejar ketertinggalan teknologi budidaya perikanan yang dialami oleh pembudidaya ikan saat ini, salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan yaitu melalui pelatihan perikanan budidaya. Penelitian analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pelatihan budidaya perikanan ini bertujuan untuk mengukur hubungan kausalitas dari faktor sarana pelatihan, kualitas peserta pelatihan, ketepatan metode pelatihan, kualitas bahan ajar, dan faktor kualitas pelatih terhadap efektivitas pelatihan budidaya perikanan. Obyek penelitian ini yaitu purnawidya pelatihan budidaya perikanan yang dilatih di Balai Diklat Perikanan Banyuwangi, yang tersebar di tiga provinsi, sebanyak 105 orang. Data dianalisis dengan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa faktor sarana pelatihan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap efektivitas pelatihan budidaya perikanan dan efektivitas pelatihan budidaya perikanan terhadap efisiensi kinerja pembudidaya ikan berpengaruh positif signifikan. Selanjutnya diperoleh hasil bahwa faktor kualitas peserta pelatihan , kualitas isi bahan ajar, ketepatan metode pelatihan dan kualitas pelatih tidak signifikan terhadap efektivitas pelatihan yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan bahwa Balai Diklat Perikanan Banyuwangi perlu pembenahan terhadap kriteria calon peserta pelatihan, kualitas bahan pembelajaran, peningkatan kualitas pelatih Title: Analysis of Factors Affecting Effectiveness of Aquaculture Training (Case Study on the Fisheries  Training Center of Banyuwangi)One of the solutions to pursue the lack of the aquaculture technology is providing a training program for fish farmer.This research was used using the Analysis of factors affecting the training effectiveness. Objective of the research were to measure the causality relations of the training equipment factor, the quality of the participants and the material, the provision of the training methods, and the quality of the trainers toward the effectiveness of training program. Object of the research was the Purnawidya of aquaculture training in the Banyuwangi Training Center which spread out in 3 provinces with over 105 participated. Data were analyzed by using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results shows that equipments have a positive significant impact toward the effectiveness of the training and the efficiency of the aquaculture performance. The quality of the training and the material, the methods, and the quality of the trainers not significant impacted the of effectiveness of the training program. The result recommends the Banyuwangi Training Center need to improve the criteria for selecting the participants, the quality of the materials, and to improve the quality of the trainers

<p class="Single-spacedText"><strong><em>Objective</em></strong><em>: To determine how the factors that may lead an individual to hire a healthcare advocate to aid him/herself in navigating the healthcare system when dealing with chronic or complex health issues differ from the factors that are considered when deciding to hire a healthcare advocate for one’s parent.</em></p><p class="Single-spacedText"><strong><em>Methods</em></strong><em>: 1,740 randomly selected participants completed a brief vignette-based questionnaire that indicated their likelihood of hiring an HCA for oneself or a parent. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were used to test the effects of predisposing, enabling, and illness factors on the predicted likelihood.</em></p><p class="Single-spacedText"><strong><em>Results</em></strong><em>: Although neither model fit well statistically, both fit well descriptively. The direct path from predisposing to enabling factors and the indirect path from predisposing factors to illness level were significant in both models. </em></p><p><strong><em>Discussion</em></strong><em>: Understanding the factors that influence the decision to hire an HCA could help health providers target patients who are most likely to use HCA services, thereby reducing the burden on the healthcare system and improving quality of care.</em></p>

This study sought to explore the underlying dimension(s) of the criminal attitude construct. Exploratory factor analyses using an oblique rotation method were conducted separately on the subscales of the Criminal Sentiments Scale–Modified among a sample of 381 violent male offenders. These procedures yielded four factors reflecting generic criminal attitudes, specific attitudes about the law, generic rationalizations consistent with criminal subcultures, and criminally oriented self-views (i.e., a criminal self-concept). Confirmatory factor analysis using structural equation modeling found these factors to be relatively robust. Supplemental analyses revealed the factors were linked to criminal conduct outcome criteria. These results are discussed in terms of potential future theory, research, and practice of the criminal attitude construct.

The study was conducted to explore public awareness and behaviors in response to the COVID-19 pandemic through a survey of 302 young people in the southern provinces of Vietnam. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were applied to validate relationships between elements of the modeling. The research shown that knowledge of pandemic, awareness of the benefits of preventive measures, and trust in the Government’s effort in disease prevention had a positive impact on preventive behavior against COVID-19. It takes proportional effect on proactive behavior in purchasing daily goods and medical products.

Background: Research on couples is receiving increased attention. There are some questionnaires assessing relationship quality available in German. However, they are not assessing all relevant dimensions of relationship quality. Therefore, an alternative questionnaire to measure relationship quality (FPQ) is presented in this study. Methods: The measure was tested with a total of 244 adults, who were all in a close relationship at that time. The dimensional structure was tested with exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. Results: Scale analyses revealed a questionnaire consisting of six subscales (fascination, commitment, sexuality, future of the partnership, mistrust, and constraint autonomy). The internal scale consistencies vary between .78 and .92. Additionally, by using structural equation modeling, a superior factor relationship quality was found. The discriminative validity was confirmed by a group comparison (satisfied and unsatisfied people). Moderate to high correlations with a traditional questionnaire measuring relationship quality and other relevant constructs indicate satisfying convergent validity. Zusammenfassung Hintergrund: Im deutschen Sprachraum kommt der Partnerschaftsforschung zusehends mehr Gewicht zu. Zwar gibt es im deutschsprachigen Raum einige Fragebögen zur Messung der Partnerschaftsqualität, diese erfassen aber nicht alle relevanten Dimensionen. Deshalb wird in der vorliegenden Studie als Ergänzung zu den bisherigen Fragebögen ein neues Instrument zur Messung der Partnerschaftsqualität (FPQ) vorgestellt. Methodik: Der Fragebogen wurde an einer Stichprobe von 244 Personen getestet, die sich zum Zeitpunkt der Erhebung in einer Partnerschaft befanden. Die dimensionale Struktur wurde mittels explorativer und konfirmatorischer Faktorenanalysen geprüft. Ergebnisse: Die faktorielle Validitätsprüfung ergab einen Fragebogen bestehend aus sechs Subskalen (Faszination, Engagement für die Beziehung, Sexualität in der Beziehung, Zukunftsperspektive der Beziehung, Misstrauen gegenüber dem Partner und Einschränkung der Freiheit/Unabhängigkeit). Die interne Konsistenz der sechs Subskalen liegt zwischen .75 und .94. Zusätzlich liess sich ein übergeordneter Faktor Partnerschaftsqualität konstruieren. Die diskriminative Validität wurde durch einen Gruppenvergleich (zufriedene und unzufriedene Personen) bestätigt. Die moderaten bis hohen Korrelationen des neuen Fragebogens mit dem Partnerschaftsfragebogen PFB zur Messung der Partnerschaftsqualität und anderen relevanten Konzepten unterstützen die konvergente Validität.

Today the retention millennial workers is a challenge for organizations. The purpose of this paper is to propose ideas to the decision makers, to lessen the high rate of personnel turnover in all kinds of industries in many countries. This research validates an instrument that evaluates the employability factors of millennials in Mexico, according to their own expectations. We based our study on the previous literature about the millennial generation in many countries. To validate the questionnaire, a sampling of 781 workers from the states of Querétaro and Guanajuato in México was conducted. The method used to achieve the objective was through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. The confirmatory factor analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling, and tested two different methods: first order and second order models. With the three methods, exploratory, first order and second order factor analyses, similar results were obtained. In the analysis of the statistical techniques, two latent variables associated with the expectations of this generational group were generated. The factors found are “personal satisfaction with the organization” and “satisfaction with the organization’s social commitment.” These two factors are supported by the literature of other researchers. It is suggested that this questionnaire be validated in other countries but also in other regions of Mexico, using different productive sectors, thereby obtaining a broader perspective that will allow us to understand not only what millennials want from their work, but to what extent they want it.
