Mining explosions and railway transportation generally result repeated intermission vibrations (RIV). These vibrations, with relatively shorter duration and larger peak acceleration, often repeat several times in a day. A proper evaluation method of human response should consider both the non-stationary nature and the occurrence frequency of RIV. This result the evaluation process has some differences compared with that for ordinary stationary vibration. Current evaluation method for human vibration comfort is first reviewed in this paper. Then the vibration dose value (VDV) and frequency of vibration events are introduced to evaluate vibration comfort under RIV. At last part of the paper, two vibration cases, one for blasting and one for railway transportation, are analyzed to explain above evaluation process.

This paper presents a new method of color aesthetic evaluation based on the combination of form and color. According to the human visual physiological and psychological characteristics, this paper first proposes a new form-color field theory for the coupled form-color aesthetic evaluation based on the psychophysical field theory and the Moon and Spencer model. Second, it builds a coupled form-color topological graph for describing their interaction and develops a strength calculation algorithm for color harmony based on the new form-color field theory. Finally, it develops an aesthetic measure evaluation model for coupled form-color fields to evaluate the new theory. The experiment results show that the new coupled form-color aesthetic evaluation method is useful and can be integrated into an intelligent evaluation process for color design scheme.

Heuristic evaluation is one of the most used techniques to evaluate the level of usability of a software product. In this research, we performed a comprehensive analysis of the recent studies which report the use of this method in the context of a software development process. The purpose was to identify the specific way in which each author performs this usability evaluation method, in order to propose a formal protocol. After an indeed examination of these studies, we have determined there are several differences in the way this technique is conducted according to the literature. There is no agreement about the number of inspectors that should participate, the usability principles that should be used, the profile of the specialists who must be part of the assessment team, or the evaluation process that should be followed. This work highlights the available settings and a detailed procedure to perform a heuristic evaluation in the domain of software products.

The interface design of software used on Home Appliances targeted at satisfying passenger's physiology and psychological needs when operating the machine to the maximum extent is a complicated synthetic topic which embracing ergonomics, visual communication design, user experience design, behavior psychology, cultural studies of the consumer, optics and Chromatics and so on. So, it is very difficult for us to find a unified criterion which can be used to estimate the interface design of the software used on Home Appliances. In order to improve science and objectivity of the evaluation process, this paper established the evaluation index system centered on the user experience firstly. Then identified the weight of each index used AHP. Furthermore, constructed the evaluation analytical model used the Gray Disaster theory. This method effectively overcomes the subjectivity and arbitrariness in the evaluation process. Finally, the prototype system of the software has been developed to verify the validity of the method.
