The modern 2d digital topographic map can not meet the people to the 3d information needs.This paper analyzes the AutoCAD graphics file format.Use of MATLAB platform,designed the interface of the program based on the data extracted from DXF file,and extract valid data. Apply this method to extract terrain data of the contour to establish 3d geological model which has obtained a better effect. And solve the AutoCAD system and MATLAB data sharing between effectively.Use of the powerful graphics features of MATLAB, we have put forward a new way for 3d geological modeling and generation DEM.

With the fast development of computer technology and 3D visualization technology, geological modleing has made great progress in recent years. The aim of geological modeling is to realize the integrated and quantitative prediction of underground geological bodies, and provide researchers with 3D display of geological characteristics, consequently. So, 3D geological modeling has become an important tool for people to carry out related studies in every oilfield of in China. This paper analyzes the complexity and diversity of geological bodies and geological structure, because these are the main factors that control the distribution and spread of sandboied and reservoir parameters. Based on these previous analysis, the 3D geological model is established with proper modeling method, and a certain 3D visualization of geological bodies are realized by through-well profiles and fence models. Also, the 3D geological model can provide a reliable scientific tools for decision-making for geological researchers.

AbstractThe M1 block is a typically complex fault-block oilfield, whose recovery has reached 30.5% through the twenty years waterflooding development. Remaining oil scatters very widely and the production between layers is in a high degree. However, many problems have been exposed at the same time which hinder improvement of the recovery rate and sustainable development of the reservoir. Hence, it is important to carry out basic geological research and form a comprehensive understanding of reservoir properties. However, few such studies have been conducted in China. In this study, work related to basic geological research was conducted based on high-resolution sequence stratigraphy, seismic interpretation technology and 3D visual geological modeling, and significant results were achieved. Three sequence orders and three types of interfacies in the stratigraphic architecture of M1 block were identified through seismic sections, logging curve characteristics and entropy spectrum analysis. Thirty-two short-term sequence cycles (fifth order), eight mid-term sequence cycles (fourth order) and two long-term sequence cycles (third order) were identified, followed by the establishment of a high-resolution isochronous stratigraphic correlation framework. Finally, a regional 3D geological model was established on the basis of these preliminary studies. The integrated 3D geological model is a valuable tool for reflecting geological bodies accurately, and it can accurately represent and describe reservoir heterogeneity.

The Fourth generation industrial age and 5G + intelligent communication in the "Fourth Paradigm of Science" in the 21st century provide a new opportunity for research on the relationship between mining development and environmental protection. This paper is based on the theory of metallogenic geodynamics background, metallogenic process and quantitative evaluation and chooses the Luanchuan district as a case study, using deep-level artificial intelligence mining and three/four-dimensional (3D/4D) multi-disciplinary, multi-parameter and multi-scale modeling technology platform of geoscience big data (including multi-dimensional and multi-scale geological, geophysical, geochemical, hyperspectral and highresolution remote sensing (multi-temporal) and real-time mining data), carrying out the construction of 3D geological model, metallogenic process model and quantitative exploration model from district to deposit scales and the quantitative prediction and evaluation of the regional Mo polymetallic mineral resources, the aim is to realize the dynamic evaluation of highprecision 3D geological (rock, structure, hydrology, soil, etc.) environment protection and comprehensive development and utilization of mineral resources in digital and wisdom mines, it provides scientific information for the sustainable development of mineral resources and mine environment in the study area. The research results are summarized as follows: (1) The geoscience big data related to mineral resource prediction and evaluation of district include mining data such as 3D geological modeling, geophysics interpretation, geochemistry, and remote sensing modeling, which are combined with GeoCube3.0 software. The optimization of deep targets and comprehensive evaluation of mineral resources in Luanchuan district (500 km2, 2.5 km deep) have been realized, including 6.5 million tons of Mo, 1.5 million tons of W, and 5 million tons of Pb-Zn-Ag. (2) The 3D geological modeling of geology, mineral deposit, and exploration targeting is related to the mine environment. The data of exploration and mining in the pits of Nannihu – Sandaozhuang – Shangfang deposits and the deep channels of Luotuoshan and Xigou deposits show a poor spatial correlation between the NW-trending porphyryskarn deposits and the ore bodies. The NE-trending faults are usually tensional or tensional-torsional structures formed in the post-metallogenic period, which is the migration pathway of hydrothermal fluid of the related Pb-Zn deposit. There is a risk of groundwater pollution in the high-altitude Pb-Zn mining zones, such as the Lengshui and Bailugou deposits controlled by NE-trending faults are developed outside of porphyry-skarn types of Mo (W) deposits in the Luanchuan area. (3) Construction of mineral resources and environmental assessment and decision-making in intelligent digital mines: 3D geological model is established in large mines and associated with ancient mining caves, pit, and deep roadway engineering in the mining areas to realize reasonable orientation and sustainable development of mining industry. The hyperspectral database is used to construct three-dimensional useful and harmful element models to realize the association of exploration, mining, and mineral processing mineralogy for the recovery of harmful elements (As, Sb, Hg, etc.). 0.5 m resolution Worldview2 images are used to identify the distribution of Fe in the wastewater and slag slurry of important tailings reservoirs, so as to protect surface runoff and soil pollution.

Abstract This study aims to construct 3D geological model using the integration of seismic data with well log data for reservoir characterization and development of the hydrocarbon potentialities of the Upper Cretaceous reservoirs of GPT oil field. 2D seismic data were used to construct the input interpreted horizon grids and fault polygons. The horizon which cut across the wells was used to perform a comprehensive petrophysical analysis. Structural and property modeling was distributed within the constructed 3D grid using different algorithms. The workflow of the 3D geological model comprises mainly the structural and property modeling. The structural model includes fault framework, pillar girding, skeleton girding, horizon modeling and zonation and layering modeling processes. It shows system of different oriented major and minor faults trending in NE–SW direction. The property modeling process was performed to populate the reservoir facies and petrophysical properties (volume of shale (Vsh), fluid saturations (Sw and Sh), total and effective porosities (Φt and Φe), net to gross thickness and permeability) as extracted from the available petrophysical analysis of wells inside the structural model. The model represents a detailed zonation and layering configuration for the Khoman, Abu Roash and Bahariya formations. The 3D geological model helps in the field development and evaluates the hydrocarbon potentialities and optimizes production of the study area. It can be also used to predict reservoir shape and size, lateral continuity and degree of interconnectivity of the reservoir, as well as its internal heterogeneity.

The new city in Daxing district is the focus of future development in the southern of Beijing city, establishing 3D geological model of its engineering construction layer can provide a scientific basis for urban planning and construction as well as the land’s proper utilization. After collecting the geological drilling data, we establish the geological model based on a 3D geological modeling platform developed by Peking University. The 3D spatial modeling method based on sections is used to analyze two key technical problems about simulation process named high-precision modeling and rapid modeling respectively. In the modeling process, Delaunay triangulation and Kriging interpolation algorithms are used. Furthermore, the manual intervention is achieved through the use of flexible and convenient 3D interactive modeling tools. The application examples indicate that the 3D geological model constructed by this method can better reflect the actual situation, it also possesses the advantages of high precision and fast modeling.

Haqian wellblock has a very good prospect in Dzungaria Basin, as it developed many faults and some formations are truncated, the development situation of it is very complicated, in this paper, we applied 3D geological modeling method which is one of the most important technology methods in describing the underground development situation, to illustrate the intricate structure. This geological model involved computer modeling and visualization of geological fault in 3D, the type of data of geological faults based on geological exploration is analyzed, after the fault model and horizon model are built, a whole structure model is finally set up.

3D geological model for each reservoir unit comprising the Yamama Formation revealed to that the formation is composed of alternating reservoirs and barriers. In Subba and Luhais fields the formation began with barrier YB-1 and four more barriers (YB-2, YB-3, YB-4, YB-5), separated five reservoirs (YR-A, YR-B, YR-C, YR-D, YR-E) ranging in thickness from 70 to 80 m for each of them deposited by five sedimentary cycles. In the Ratawi field the formation was divided into three reservoir units (YR-A, YR-B, and YR-C) separated by two barrier units (YB-2 and YB-3), the first cycle is missing in Ratawi field.   The study involves 1 well in Luhais field (Lu-12), 3 wells in Subba field (Su-7, Su-8, and Su-9), and 5 wells in Ratawi field (Rt-3, Rt-4, Rt-5, Rt-6 and Rt-7), the Luhais, Subba, and Ratawi fields located in the Mesopotamia zone (Zubair subzone). The reservoir units (YR-C and YR-D) in Subba oil field, and YR-B in Ratawi oil field represent the major reservoir units that characterized by the best Petrophysical properties (the highest porosity, the lowest water saturation, and the best Net Pay Thickness), Luhais oil field has poor to moderate Petrophysical properties and low oil bearing in YR-A, YR-B and YR-C units, and produce heavy oil and salt water from YR-D and YR-E as indicated by low resistivity log reading, and according to the Drill Steam Test (DST) with the description of cutting in final geological reports.

The represented method allows to create three-dimensional geological models of collectors of paleozoic basement, which provides a significant economic effect in the subsequent deposit explorations for typical russian companies - subsoil users, having a limited amount of data. In geological modeling of the collectors of paleozoic basement, the application of the method of dual porosity (double medium) is most relevant. The created approach allows to refine the geological model with an increase of geological reserves by 30 % in reservoirs with natural fracturing.

AbstractSince the year 2009, the Archaeological Office of Medan has carried out various research in the hinterland of Aceh, at the Regency of Central Aceh. The research resulted in the finding of cave settlements that have been inhabited since 7000 thousand years ago. The data then raises a question on how people at that time found and settled there. This question later inspires a research trying to discover the possible route taken by the people at that time to reach the caves. A preliminary research was conducted at Bener Meriah Regency at the north of Central Aceh Regency by considering the existence of a river begins in the area and ends at the eastern coast of Aceh as well as the formation of limestone where caves and niches can be found. Lanscape archaeology approach is used in this paper to answer the question matter that focuses on physical and cultural aspects of the area. The rearch began with a topographic map study, a geological map, and digital elevation model (DEM). The second phase was a field survey to acquire caves and niches data and continued wth archaeological testing. The sites data was teh analyzed for potential archaeology and relation patterns between the sites and their surrounding. The provide pictorial description of such patterns, the nearest neighbouring analysis is used through the use of Arc-View 3.2 and ArcGIS 9.3 softwares with the extension of Network and Spatial analyses. The analyses of the settlement potential of the caves in Bener Meriah Regency show two caves of potential categori I, five caves of category II and four caves of no potential. The patterns of settlement are of scattered ones following the random patterns of limestone distribution.AbstrakSejak tahun 2009, Balai Arkeologi Medan telah mulai melakukan penelitian arkeologi di daerah pedalaman Aceh, tepatnya di Kabupaten aceh Tengah. Dari penelitian tersebut telah didapatkan adanya gua hunian yang telah dihuni sejak 7000 tahun yang lalu. Data tersebut tentunya memberikan pertanyaan bagaimana manusia dapat menemukan dan kemudian menghuni lokasi tersebut. Bertolak dari pertanyaan tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui jalur yang kemungkinan digunakan oleh manusia pada masa itu hingga sampai pada lokasi tersebut. Sebagai tahap awal, penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Bener Meriah yang berada di bagian utara Kabupaten Aceh Tengah dengan memperhatikan pada keberadaan sungai yang berhulu di lokasi ini dan berhilir di pesisir timur Aceh dan formasi batugamping dimana gua dan ceruk dapat ditemukan. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut digunakan model pendekatan arkeologi lansekap yang memperhatikan pada beberapa aspek fisik serta budaya pada lokasi tersebut. Penelitian diawali dengan melakukan studi peta topografi, peta geologi, serta Digital Elevation Model (DEM). Tahap kedua adalah melakukan survei lapangan untuk mendapatkan data gua dan ceruk serta melakukan pengujian arkeologis. Dari data sebaran situs tersebut kemudian dianalisis potensi arkeologisnya dan analisis kemungkinan pola-pola hubungan antara situs dan lingkungannya. Untuk lebih menggambarkan hal tersebut digunakan juga analisis tetangga terdekat dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Arc-View 3.2 dan ArcGIS 9.3 dengan ekstensi Network Analysis dan Spasial Analysis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran tentang situs-situs gua yang potensial hunian dan gambaran tentang bentuk interaksi yang mungkin dilakukan dengan pendekatan arkeologi lingkungan.

Accurately depicting the spatial structure characteristics of Quaternary loose sedimentary strata is not only of great significance for the research of Quaternary geological evolution, but also for the analysis of spatial variation characteristics of the inner hydrogeological and engineering geological attributes of the strata. In this study, an approach for constructing a 3D geological model of Quaternary loose sedimentary strata is proposed based on global stratigraphical discrete points. The approach obtains the discrete control point set of each stratum by using limited borehole data for interpolation and encryption, and the contact relationships and intersection modes of adjacent strata can be determined via the analysis of stratigraphic sequence; finally, taking these as the professional basis, the construction of the 3D geological model of Quaternary loose sedimentary strata can be carried out. This application can not only accurately describe the three-dimensional spatial distribution characteristics of the Quaternary loose sedimentary strata, it can also be used to perform a layered simulation of the spatial variation characteristics of the inner geological properties of the Quaternary loose sedimentary strata, such as lithology, porosity, and water content, by taking the three-dimensional spatial framework of each stratum as the simulation boundary. Finally, this study takes the citizen center of Xiong’an new area as an example in order to verify the reliability and advancement of the 3D geological modeling scheme.
