Asphalt concrete is the main body of the surface layer of the road construction, which directly affects the service level of the road surface. During the construction process, how quality control (QC) operation is performed for products of the asphalt concrete batching plant (ACBP) is one of the key factors that will directly affect whether the road construction is successful. How to stimulate the asphalt concrete industry to strengthen its efforts on QC, investment in R&D, upgrading its manpower, machinery, raw material quality and assist the construction authority in playing a watchdog on the quality of the ACBP have become an imminent and critical issue. The theme of this study is to bring QC of the ACBP in the verification system and describe how to establish the quality appraisal standard and the verification system for the ACBP and the real benefits from implementation of the product verification, properly monitoring the quality of asphalt concrete from the origin.

Abstract: Good asphalt concrete and good care are required for the highway construction, to support the road capabilities and to raise the quality of asphalt mixture, one step is by adding additives into the asphalt. Additive material used plastic bag waste, while Basalt stone used as material that is raw material from hills. Waste plastic bag can be used in various ways, one of them by adding plastic into an asphalt mixture. Mixing plastic waste into the highway construction has two aims, to minimize plastic waste and to improve the quality of roads. This study was conducted to determine the effect of plastic bag waste use as a substitution of Asphalt Pen 60/70 by using Basalt aggregate toward Marshall’s characteristics of asphalt concrete AC-BC mixture. Initial phase of this research was to calculate Optimum Bitumen Content (OBC). The addition of varied plastic bag waste as an additive respectively 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8% in OBC-0.5, OBC, and OBC + 0.5 from the initial OBC of 5.35%. From the three OBCs, it was taken the highest value at OBC +0.5 of 3.3% for the production of test specimens in plastic OPC variation percentage of ± 2% by determining Marshall’s value and durability. Stability value continued to rise in the percentage of plastic bag waste content variation respectively 1.3%, 3.3%, and 5.3% by 1470.48 kg, kg 1476.28, and 1489.28 kg with 30 minutes immersion (temperature = 600C ) and 1286.42 kg, kg 1316.35, 1345.41 kg with a 24-hour immersion (temperature = 600C). This condition is caused by the additive content that is mixed with asphalt pen 60/70 in the mixture, it causes the adhesion of asphalt with aggregate become better until it reaches a certain value limit, which is at the limit of 5.3% with the best stability value of 1489.28 kg in the 30 minutes immersion and 1345.41 kg in 24-hour immersion. From the comparison of both stabilities, the obtained durability values were 99.84%, so that it met specifications for additive-added mixtures, ≥ 90%.Abstrak: Pembangunan konstruksi jalan raya diperlukan beton aspal yang baik dan perawatan yang baik pula, untuk mendukung kemampuan jalan tersebut dan menaikan mutu campuran beraspal salah satunya dengan menambahkan bahan aditif kedalam aspal.. bahan aditif digunakan limbah plastik kresek, sedangkan untuk material digunakan batuan Basalt yang merupakan bahan baku dari gunung. Limbah sampah plastik ini bisa dimanfaatkan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya dengan cara menambahkan plastik kedalam suatu campuran aspal. Mencampur sampah plastik kedalam kontruksi jalan raya mempunyai dua tujuan, yaitu meminimalkan sampah plastik dan meningkatkan kualitas jalan. Penelitian ini Tujuan Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemakaian limbah plastik kresek sebagai subsitusi Aspal Pen 60/70 dengan menggunakan agregat bassalt terhadap karakteristik Marshall campuran aspal beton AC-BC. Tahapan awal penelitian adalah mencari Kadar Aspal Optimum (KAO). Penambahan variasi kantong plastik bekas sebagai aditif secara berturut-turut yaitu 2%, 4%, 6%, dan 8% pada KAO-0,5, KAO dan KAO+0,5 dari KAO awal 5,35%. Dari ketiga KAO tersebut diambil nilai yang tertinggi yaitu pada KAO+0,5 sebesar 3,3% untuk pembuatan benda uji pada persentase variasi plastik KPO ±2% dengan mendapatkan nilai marshall dan durabilitas. Nilai stabilitas terus meningkat pada persentase variasi kadar plastic bekas 1,3%, 3,3% dan 5,3% masing-masing sebesar 1470,48kg, 1476,28kg, dan 1489,28kg dengan rendaman 30 menit (suhu 600C) dan1286,42kg, 1316,35kg, 1345,41kg dengan rendaman 24 jam (suhu 600C). Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh kandungan dalam aditif yang bercampur dengan aspal pen 60/70 di dalam campuran menyebabkan daya lekat aspal dengan aregat menjadi lebih baik hingga mencapai batas nilai tertentu, yaitu pada batas 5,3% dengan nilai stabilitas terbaik yaitu sebesar 1489,28kg pada rendaman 30 menit dan sebesar 1345,41kg pada rendaman 24 jam. Dari perbandingan ke dua stabilitas tersebut maka diperoleh nilai durabilitas sebesar 99,84% sehingga telah memenuhi spesifikasi untuk campuran yang ditambahkan aditif, yaitu sebesar ≥ 90%.

Water functions are very diverse for humans for daily needs such as drinking water, bathing, agriculture, development, aesthetics, and lower temperatures. Palembang is a lowland area dominated by wetlands, tidal swamps, and rivers. The types of houses on stilts on the banks of the Musi river are limas, Gudang, and Chinese stilt houses which are always associated with the water environment. The construction of roads replacing the role of rivers has realized people that the water environment has an important meaning for the house on stilts. The research objective was to explore the meaning of the water environment from various aspects for residents, stilt houses, and their environment. This research method is a case study with data collection through interviews, observation, measurements, and taking photos. Data and findings were analyzed and juxtaposed with images in the field. The road construction has eliminated part of the function of the river and influenced the change in orientation of the house on stilts. In conclusion, respect for the water environment including rivers has decreased, causing the quality of the river to decline, and the house on stilts cannot take advantage of the existence of the water environment optimally

The quality of implementation, drainage, materials that do not meet the standards, and overloaded from the specified class of roads are the main causes of road damage. Thus violations and negligence both in the implementation or maintenance of the road can cause a lot of traffic accidents, damage to vehicles, and various things that can disrupt the comfort and safety of drivers or pedestrians. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of polypropylene plastic as an additive in the Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC) layer. The use of polypropylene waste used as an additive is around 2.5%; 3.5%; 4.5%; and 5.5% of the asphalt weight. Based on the results of the analysis it was concluded that the mixture of AC-WC with the addition of polypropylene plastic experienced increased stability and decreased melting. Polypropylene plastic which can be used based on the five Marshall test parameters with the highest value of stability and lowest melting is 4.5% of the weight of asphalt.

The increase in traffic volume will cause a decrease in service due to decreased road capacity due to an increase in side constraints and due to the increase in traffic volume itself, which will ultimately cause the level of road saturation to increase. The situation occurred in the Umasukaer road section of the Malacca Regency. Therefore it is necessary to address improvements in the quality of the road in order to meet the feasibility of transportation facilities by taking into account the existing technical requirements. The results of planning found that through the 2015 LHR survey data with a prediction of an increase in traffic density of 6% per year, the LHR was obtained with a planned age of 7 years = 2540.7 vehicles/day/department and a 20-year plan life LHR = 5419.1 ked/day / major. The results of a gradual construction planning pavement study can be concluded that the planning model that has been designed is effective in strengthening road construction in accordance with existing technical requirements and efficient in terms of financing. The final results of gradual construction pavement thickness results are: Ashburton thickness (MS 744) = 8 cm, Ashburton (MS 744) = 13 cm, broken stone (CBR 100) = 20 cm, Sirtu (CBR 50) = 10 cm and CBR subgrade 5%. Pertambahan volume lalu lintas akan menyebabkan penurunan layanan diakibatkan menurunnya kapasitas jalan karena adanya peningkatan hambatan samping maupun karena beratambahnya volume lalu lintas itu sendiri yang pada akhirnya akan meyebabkan tingkat kejenuhan jalan meningkat. Keadaan tersebut terjadi ruas jalan Umasukaer Kabupaten Malaka, oleh karena itu perlu adanya penanganan perbaikan kualitas jalan agar memenuhi segi kelayakan sarana transportasi dengan memperhatikan syarat-syarat teknik yang ada. Hasil perencanaan didapatkan bahwa melalui data survey LHR tahun 2015 dengan prediksi peningkatan kepadatan lalu lintas sebesar 6% pertahun maka didapatkan LHR dengan umur rencana 7 tahun = 2540,7 kend/hr/jurusan dan LHR umur rencana 20 tahun = 5419,1 ked/hr/jurusan. Hasil studi perencanaan perkerasan konstruksi bertahap dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa model perencaaan yang telah dirancang efektif dalam memperkerasa konstruksi jalan sesuai dengan syarat teknis yang ada serta efisien dalam hal pembiayaan. Hasil akhir tebal perkerasan konstruksi bertahap diperoleh hasil: Ketebalan Asbuton (MS 744) = 8 cm, Asbuton (MS 744) = 13 cm, batu pecah (CBR 100) = 20 cm, Sirtu (CBR 50) = 10 cm dan CBR tanah dasar 5%.

This article discusses the problems that arise in the operation of road structures. One of the most important is rutting. Indicators of resistance to rutting depend on the method of design of non-rigid pavement and operational parameters, which allows to obtain the applied method of volumetric design of asphalt mix «Superpave» (SP-19), which in our country was called «SPAS». The authors, together with the staff of the laboratory of asphalt Concrete plant – 1, monitored asphalt concrete mixtures designed according to the «Superpave» system on the asphalt mixing plant. Then tests were carried out according to the method of PNST 181-2016 on the susceptibility of asphalt concrete materials to shear deformations arising under the action of repeated passes of the loaded wheel at ambient temperature. The result of the study of rutting showed that the mixture SP-19 have predominantly traditional. More detailed research results are presented in this article. Based on the data obtained from the results, conclusions were formulated: the Studies show that the method of «Superpeyv» is updated to the requirements of technical supervision at the objects of the road complex of the Russian Federation. In conclusion, the authors have formulated conclusions on the research: a comparison of physical and mechanical performance of asphalt concrete mix SP-19 on PNST 114 and fine-grained asphalt concrete mix type A brand I shows that the shear stability in terms of the average depth of the track is higher for the brand SP-19 by 38 %; set the required mixing temperature and compaction of asphalt concrete mixture on the system «Superpeyv»; the release of a pilot batch of asphalt concrete mix of SP-19 brand at the production site of JSC «ABZ-1» showed that the recipe selected in the laboratory is reproduced in the ABZ; cores selected within the framework of technical supervision from the experimental coating and tested in the laboratory showed corresponding to the requirements of ODM 218.4.038-2017; assessment of economic efficiency at the cost of asphalt concrete mix of SP-19 brand showed a decrease of 2.2 % relative to the cost of fine-grained asphalt concrete mix; the increase in the service life of the road surface h 30–50 % by reducing rutting increases its turnaround time. At the same time, economic efficiency can reach 50 % per m2.

In Indonesia, the road construction has experienced a fairly good development. From a wide range of road constructions, flexible pavement is the most chosen one because its characteristics: easy, fast, and efficient. However, flexible pavement has many weaknesses, for example the premature damage on the road surface after some time passed by the traffic so that the road cannot reach the planned age. For that, it is done a research to add a hot asphalt mixture material that aims to improve the quality of the mixture results. The selected ingredient is natural water hyacinth. The method used is trial and error with reference of SNI 03-1737-1989. Variations used are 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% of the asphalt weight, asphalt level used is 5.72 %. Of the 5 variations of mixture used on Type XI Asphalt Concrete Layer, it is obtained the result that the water hyacinth fiber level which has the best score and meet the specifications of SNI 03-1737-1989 is on the percentage of 6% which obtained from calculation data using graphs and regression model where Marshall Stability is equal to 644,46 Kg, flow 3,39 mm, VMA (voids in the mineral aggregate) is equal to 13,83 %, VFWA (voids filled with asphalt) is equal to 65,35%, VIM (voids in the mix) is equal to 2,52 %, density of 2.31 gr/cc, and Marshall Quotient of 164.03 Kg / mm.

Abstract Alingment of braking performance of truck trailer is an important parameter that affects its braking stability. This shows particular in critical situations or during braking on a surface with reduced adhesion. Alingment of braking performance can be automatic, which is one of quality of electronical brake systems. Further on, can be forcible, which is being executed during service a diagnostic work.This contribution is focused on analysis alingment of braking performance. Describing technical conditions, internal and external factors which affect it. Due to magnitude of this problematics, is in this article evaluated the optimization of braking affects truck trailers in the start-up phase. The analysis of the process – start-up braking effect has justification from the reason, that has primary influence on the stability truck trailer during braking and this can be the cause of collision situations or also traffic accidents. Article covers the questions of economic effectivityand efficiency of implementing rut-resistant rubberized asphalt. Economic data for all road-construction climatic zones in Russia is included. Comparison is made between the two alternatives: pavement with the use of crumb rubber (RBV) and a pavement with a known stabilizing agent (SMA). Calculation is based on a market price of the additives and 0,8% dosage by the weight of the mineral composition. Calculation of the presents costs is made for the different Road climatic zones with effective pavement thickness 6 cm.
