Base on the process of asphalt pavement construction, analyse the influence factors of energy-saving and emission-reduction in asphalt pavement construction. Research shows thatduring the asphalt pavement construction process, all kinds of construction machinery are the main source of energy consumption and emissions; Asphalt mixture also emission part of gases itself, which closely related with the heating temperature of the mixture.

In the construction process of asphalt pavement, mixing is the process which brings most of carbon emission. There is huge potential advancement of energy conservation, emission reduction and consumption reduction in the construction of asphalt pavement. Research on the structure improvement of construction equipment, the optimizing of the construction technological process and the influence of mixture performance and parameters is necessary. It is feasible to conduct interdisciplinary research in the condition that construction quality is ensured. There needs excellent control technology on efficient paving, efficient compaction and appropriate equipment match and temperature segregation of mixture. By doing this, the purpose of energy conservation and emission reduction in the construction process of hot-mix asphalt mixture can be achieved.

Although small amount of binder in asphalt concrete mixture may commonly range from 3.5 to 5.5% of total mixture as per many international specifications, it has a significant impact on the total cost of pavement construction. Therefore, this paper investigated the effects of five carbon nanotubes contents of 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.15%, 0.2%, 0.25% by asphalt weight as an additive material for binder on performance characteristics of asphalt mixtures. Performance properties of CNTs modified asphalt mixtures were investigated through the Marshall stability (MS) test, indirect tensile (IDT) test, static modulus (SM) test, wheel tracking (WT) test. The results indicated that asphalt mixtures with CNT modified binder can improve both the rutting performance, IDT strength and marshall stability of tested asphalt mixtures significantly at higher percentages of carbon nanotubes. However, the issue that should be considered is the construction cost of asphalt pavement. Based on the asphalt pavement structural analysis and construction cost, it can be concluded that an optimum CNT content of 0.1% by asphalt weight may be used as additive for asphalt binder in asphalt mixtures.

Wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is the energy-intensive industries. Energy is consumed at every stage of wastewater treatment. It is the main contributor to the costs of WWTP. Analysis and forecasting of energy consumption are critical to energy-saving. Many factors influence energy consumption. The relationship between energy consumption and wastewater is complex and challenging to identify. This article employed the fuzzy clustering method to categorize the sample data of WWTP and analyzed the relationship between energy consumption and the influence factors in different categories. The study found that energy efficiency in various categories was changed and the same influence factors in different types had different influence intensity. The Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network was used to forecast energy consumption. The data from the complete set and categories was adopted to train and test the model. The results show that the RBF model using the date from the subset has better performance than the multivariable linear regression (MLR) model. The results of this study provided an essential theoretical basis for energy-saving in WWTP.

This essay tends to probe into the decoupling relationship between economic growth and carbon emissions through structuring the decoupling analysis model. The results show that: In recent years, the decoupling relationship between economic growth and carbon emissions in Anhui province has improved. Through the research about some intermediate variables, we find that the change trend of energy consumption elastic elasticity of carbon emissions and the one of GDP elastic elasticity of carbon emissions are basically the same. Meanwhile, Anhui province is relatively backward in the energy-saving and emission reduction process, carbon emissions growth and energy consumption growth did not achieve effective decoupling, which reflects that this province still has some defects in the adjustment of energy structure, energy saving and emission reduction technology promotion policy etc.

Hospitality industry in China has undergone a breath-taking development in recent years. However, it is burdened both by tremendous energy consumption and the responsibility of environmental protection. The paper is trying to find out the potential in the energy saving and emission reduction. Energy consumption data, in the recent five years, are collected from more than 20 hotels in Shanghai and other eastern China regions. Through the energy conversion factor matrix, these energy consumption factors can be converted into Tce value. Though the analysis of the Tce value, the paper provides a key solution to the problem at hand and possible ways of realizing the goal of establishing basis of carbon emission assessment modeling and cumulative comprehensive energy consumption database suitable for this industry, in the hope of establishing a foundation for future study of carbon footprint of the hospitality industry and its technical proposal for energy saving.

The Dongying-Linyi Crude Oil Pipeline, transporting the crude oil from Shengli Oilfield to the outside, is one of the most important pipelines in East China. It is of great significance for saving energy, reducing emissions and improving the economy by optimizing pipeline operation. By analyzing the daily operation reports and monthly energy consumption reports, the energy consumption situation of the pipeline is revealed. Then the crude oil from Shengli Oilfield is collected, and its physical property is tested and researched. Based on the topological structure, the technological process and the operation philosophy of the pipeline, the mathematical models for the optimal operation and the energy consumption are built and the corresponding algorithm is introduced. With the models and the algorithms mentioned above, a computer software is developed for the operation simulation and optimization of the pipeline. Combining with practice, three energy-saving measures for the pipeline are analyzed, including reduction of oil heating temperature, operation matching with peak-valley electricity price and operation matching with the combination of flow rates in a planned operation period. In addition, these energy-saving measures are evaluated by the software with several examples. It turns out that: the first measure can considerably reduce the energy consumption and the energy consumption cost of the pipeline; the second could reduce the energy consumption cost of the pipeline a lot, while may make the energy consumption go higher a little; the third could slightly lower the equivalent energy consumption and the energy cost at the same time, but the effect of it is not obvious.
