In the northeast of China, the research of subway foundation pit is still infancy, which needs enriching. This paper relies on the deep foundation pit engineering of Xiashengou Subway Station in Shenyang. Through the analysis of deformation foundation pits to study deformation characteristics.Through the monitoring data,we can know that combined the bored and steel support the deformation of the retaining structure and the ground surface subsidence can be well controlled. The deformation of the envelope and the surface has a strong time effect and increases with time,in the excavation stage, pile deformation presented randomness. In the excavation stage, pile deformation presented randomness. When the excavation completed 45 days, from the top of the pile to the pile at 13m depth, the lateral volume is almost equal, and thus down to the pile end the lateral volume gradually becomes zero.

Based on the deep foundation pit project of Laoguancun station of Wuhan rail transit line 16 and according to the engineering characteristics of the construction conditions and the site surrounding the environment, the method of combining field monitoring and finite element numerical simulation is adopted to analyze the law of stress and deformation of the deep foundation pit during excavation and support construction; it includes the horizontal displacement of the underground diaphragm wall, supporting axial force, and the ground surface settlement, which can be compared with measured data. Finally, some suggestions for monitoring and construction of the deep foundation pit in the subway station have been put forward and have certain reference value and practical guiding significance for the design and construction of similar engineering projects. The deformation monitoring of the retaining structure at the middle of the long side of the foundation pit should be strengthened during the construction process.

For researching the influence of excavation constructing to the environment, we took many measures to monitor the deformation of retaining structure, underground pipelines, groundwater-bit and surface cracks, according to the actual situation of the engineering. Obtained the deformation discipline and force characteristics of the excavation, as well as the discipline of influence. From the results of monitoring, it showed that monitoring is the key to the informative construction of the excavation. Analysis the result of monitoring dynamically, can guide the construction, and adjustment the design. From the engineering, it might have large influence to the environment even the design was reasonable and the retaining system met the security conditions. So, a economic and fitting, security and reliable technology plan for protecting the buildings, roads and pipelines close to the excavation is necessary.

The enclosure pile is extensively used as retaining structure in the foundation pit excavation. And it is always combined with other reinforcement measures. So it is unreasonable to a certain degree that the enclosure pile is analyzed as cantilever structure. Taken the deep foundation pit of a subway station in Hefei for instance, the effect of other reinforcement measures on restrained conditions of enclosure piles in the paper was taken into account. And the behavior of enclosure pile under various restrained conditions was analyzed. Based on that, some helpful suggestions for practical retaining structure of foundation pit were put forward.

With the huge demand for building underground spaces, deep foundation pits are becoming more and more common in underground construction. Due to the serious effects associated with accidents that occur in deep foundation pits, it is very important for underground construction safety management to be proactive, targeted, and effective. This research develops a conceptual framework adopting BIM and IoT to aid the identification and evaluation of hazards in deep foundation pit construction sites using an automated early warning system. Based on the accident analysis, the system framework of Safety Management System of Deep Foundation Pits (SMSoDFP) is proposed; it includes a function requirement, system modules, and information needs. Further, the implementation principles are studied; they cover hazardous areas, namely, visualization, personnel position monitoring, structural deformation monitoring, and automatic warning. Finally, a case study is used to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the system proposed. This research provides suggestions for on-site management and information integration of deep foundation pits, with a view to improving the safety management efficiency of construction sites and reducing accidents.

Advancing urbanization in China requires large-scale high-rise construction and underground transportation projects. Consequently, there is an increasing number of deep foundation pits adjacent to water bodies, and accidents occur frequently. This study uses a numerical simulation method to study the stability of the deep foundation pit near water based on the Biot three-dimensional seepage-stress coupling model, with the open-cut section on the south bank of the Jinan Yellow River Tunnel Project as the engineering field test. This indicates the following: (1) the maximum horizontal displacement of the diaphragm wall occurred in the fifth excavation stage, and a horizontal brace effectively controlled the inward horizontal displacement of the foundation pit; (2) considering the effect of seepage in the soft soil foundation, the maximum vertical displacement of the ground surface at each excavation stage occurred adjacent to the underground continuous wall. As the depth of the foundation pit increased, the vertical surface settlement decreases gradually in the direction away from the excavation face; (3) considering the seepage conditions, within each interval of excavation of the foundation pit, the horizontal displacement of the continuous underground wall and ground settlement declined; and (4) the numerical simulation and field monitoring data were in good agreement. Under the conditions of accurate model simplification and parameter selection, numerical simulations can adequately forecast conditions of the actual project.

High-rise building deep foundation pits affect the peripheral physiognomy deformations directly, and brings serious hidden danger.deformation monitoring on supporting structure of deep foundation pits engineering is an effective means of construction safety warning. Three-dimensional coordinates of observation points can be available by GPS high precision positioning, and it is easier to realize of continuous, real-time and automatic monitoring than conventional observation methods.

Dismantling the inner support of deep foundation pit is a risk point. It is of great importance to guarantee the safety of foundation pit when removing the inner support, and the deformation monitoring and analysis in the process of dismantling inner support is crucial. In this paper, a super deep foundation pit engineering as the research background.Through monitoring and analyzing the law of a deep horizontal displacement of the supporting structure, ground settlement, vertical settlement and axial force of support in the process of support demolition, which can be obtained that: the settlement of surface ground around the foundation shows spatial and temporal clearly and the distribution of deep horizontal displacement of supporting structure is similar to the parabolic which the maximum point constant upward shift with supporting continuous removed.Soil pressure of supporting shared with support removing process is changing, and the earth pressures support sharing is increasing. From the monitoring results, the demolition scheme is reasonable and effective and meets the requirements of design and environment.
