The article deals with the method of obtaining a hard chromium coating on details of the "body of rotation" type with the use of an abrasive tool. The influence of the composition and hardness of the elastic abrasive tool on the results of galvanomechanical chromium plating of rotating cylindrical parts has been studied. Binder compositions for an abrasive tool used to improve the roughness of the deposited chromium layer have been developed. A series of experimental studies has been carried out with chromium plating of steel cylindrical parts with simultaneous abrasive processing. Beforehand, an abrasive tool with previously developed binder formulations was manufactured. The obtained results of the influence of the characteristics of the abrasive tool and its pressing force on the chromium-plated part on the quality of the precipitated chromium made it possible to determine the optimum modes for obtaining a coating of the required thickness. Also, a suitable abrasive tool has been chosen to obtain a coating of proper quality.

Background. The deficiency of essential nutrients in the human body is the root cause of reduced efficiency, general resistance of the body to various diseases. That is an urgent problem in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection. In this regard, the search for opportunities to meet the needs of the population in food products that contain biologically active substances (BAS) through the use of high-value and at the same time available plant raw materials is extremely important. Marigolds attract special attention among such raw materials. The aim of the work is to study the chemical composition and evaluate the consumer properties of Tagetes L. varieties, zoned in the Kiev region, to prove the possibility of increasing the biological value of pasta by adding to their recipe powder from marigold inflorescences. Materials and methods. The object of research is pasta of B group (noodles). Inflorescences of marigolds of different varieties gathered during the flowering period in July-September 2019–2020 in the territory of Vasylkiv and Obukhiv districts of Kyiv region, Ukraine were used as enriching plant raw materials. The quality of finished pasta was assessed by organoleptic and physicochemical indexes (moisture content and titratable acidity). The content of mineral elements in the fine powder of marigold inflorescences was determined on the EXHERT-3L device, the quantitative composition and BAS identification – by spectrophotometric analysis on the device Specord-200 Analytic Jena UV-vis. The integrated quality index of pasta products was calculated taking into account the importance factors of individual indexes. Results. Comparing the obtained results, we can state that all the studied varieties – Gold Kopfen, Orange Flame, Hawaii, Equinox are characterized by high biological value, regardless of the area of collection. As a result of calculated and experimental studies it was determined that the addition of 7 % of the supplement does not provide the required supply of vitamins and minerals. Replacing the flour in the recipe by 20 % significantly improves the mineral composition, but deteriorates the taste and aromatic properties of pasta. The most optimal and rational amount of added additive is 15 %, as it improves the organoleptic properties of pasta and enriches their BAS. Conclusion. The usage of non-traditional vegetable raw materials, in particular powder from marigold inflorescences, which is rich in biologically active substances, allows not only to expand the range, improve the quality of finished products, but also increase the biological value of the product. The optimal amount of additive –powder from marigold inflorescences, was defined. It is 15 % by weight of flour in the production of noodles. This concentration allows not only to improve the organoleptic properties, but also to increase the content of biologically active substances – vitamins, micro- and macronutrients. The usage of non-traditional natural raw materials (powder from marigold inflorescences) allows to abandon artificial colorsand give the finished pasta a pleasant colorand aroma.

The purpose of the industrial process of chromium plating is the creation of a hard and wear-resistant layer of chromium over a metallic surface. One of the main properties of chromium plating is its resistance to both wear and corrosion. This research presents an innovative nonparametric machine learning approach that makes use of a hybrid gradient boosted regression tree (GBRT) methodology for hard chromium layer thickness prediction. GBRT is a non-parametric statistical learning technique that produces a prediction model in the form of an ensemble of weak prediction models. The motivation for boosting is a procedure that combines the output of many weak classifiers to produce a powerful committee. In this study, the GBRT hyperparameters were optimized with the help of differential evolution (DE). DE is an optimization technique within evolutionary computing. The results found that this model was able to predict the thickness of the chromium layer formed in this industrial process with a determination coefficient equal to 0.9842 and a root-mean-square error value of 0.01590. The two most important variables of the model were the time of the hard-chromium process and the thickness of the layer removed by electropolishing. Thus, these results provide a foundation for an accurate predictive model of hard chromium layer thickness. The derived model also allowed the ranking of the importance of the independent input variables that were examined. Finally, the high performance and simplicity of the model make the DE/GBRT method attractive compared to conventional forecasting techniques.

Children are more susceptible to various infections because of underdeveloped immune system as compared to adults. Strengthening the immune system is a natural way to help the body fight against the disease-causing pathogens and immunomodulators can play a major role in this context. Various Ayurveda classics and studies published in journals related to Ayurveda drugs for improving immunity are reviewed and analysed. In Ayurveda, the objective of immune enhancement is achieved through the use of the Amalakyadi Rasayana (an Immunomodulators), as it increases longevity of life, memory, intellect, luxture, complexion, voice, strength of the body functions, strength of all senses and provides the resistance to disease, improves glow and power. Analysis of classical references and various experimental studies show that Amalakyadi Rasayana posse immuno-modulatory, Antioxidant, Anti-inflammatory, Antimicrobial, Anthelmintic activity. Present paper is a review to update knowledge on pharmacological properties, therapeutic actions and possible mode of action of the selected formulation, Amalakyadi rasayana from Yogaratnakara (Rasayanadhikara/17) to enhance the immunity in children. Rasayana is an important part of Ayurvedic therapeutics used to improve the quality of life by strengthening the tissue quality and by reducing the age-related tissue degeneration. This study reveals that Amalakyadi Rasayana have potential to improve or strengthen the immune system in children and thereby can lower down the morbidity rate in children.

The article presents the results of experimental studies to determine the effect of antioxidant drugs “Butofan” and “E-selenium” on veterinary and sanitary parameters of cows’ milk obtained in the period after calving. Childbirth is characterized by a stressful physiological state of the body and a large amount of lipid peroxidation (LPO) products are formed in the blood of cows, which have a negative depleting effect on the body and, naturally, on the quality of milk, since it is a blood product. To enhance the work of the body’s own antioxidant system, since it is not always enough to neutralize LPO products, antioxidant drugs are used. It is necessary to determine veterinary and sanitary parameters in milk obtained under the influence of any drugs, since it is used in human nutrition. For this purpose, experimental studies were carried out on analogous dairy cows in one of the farms of Ryazan region. The cows were divided into three groups: the control and two experimental ones. The control group of animals was intact, the cows of the experimental groups received antioxidant preparations: the first one got “E-selenium” and the second one got “Butofan”. The research results showed that the milk yield of cows in the experimental groups was higher compared to the control. The quality parameters of milk in the experimental groups of cows were better in terms of fat content, protein content, density and acidity. Cow’s milk under the influence of antioxidant drugs was biologically complete and environmentally friendly.

One of the main problems common to all areas of technology is to increase the reliability and durability of machines, devices, and mechanisms. This problem can be solved by applying wear-resistant coatings and chromium-based alloys. The method of electrochemical chrome plating has a number of significant drawbacks: low current efficiency of chromium; the lowest dispersing capacity among galvanic processes; high energy intensity; the presence of high internal stress chrome plating; hydrogenation of chromium sediments and base alloy. Therefore, at present, a large number of works are being carried out aimed at intensifying the processes of chromium plating. This work is aimed at exploring the possibilities of optimizing the process of chrome plating by changing the composition of the electrolyte. Classification of currently used electrolytes of chromium plating was carried out according to the following parameters: electrolyte composition, process conditions, cathode output by current and quality of the coatings obtained. On the basis of experimental studies conducted by the authors, the possibility of intensifying the process of electrolytic chromium plating from aqueous solutions, due to a change in the composition of the electrolyte, is shown. The effect of a number of anions (SO2-4, SiF2-6,Cl-,F-, NH2SO-3, PO3-4, IO3-3, I2O4-7) on the quality of sediments and current efficiency is studied. The ways to improve the most popular universal electrolytes are proposed.

The subject of the article is methods of reducing quadcopter magnetometer crosstalk by changing the design and settings of the copter to improve the quality of its work during the monitoring of ground objects. The relevance of the development is determined by the need to increase the physical safety of quadcopters when monitoring ground facilities in various industries because the magnetometer is the most noise-sensitive sensor, and its failure leads to the fall and loss of the drone. The purpose of the article is to determine the optimal design and settings of the quadcopter in terms of its physical safety and quality of work during monitoring of ground facilities in various industries. The research task is to check whether it is possible to protect the magnetometer placed inside the drone body from the power cables crosstalk by grounding, shielding and changing the initial settings of the copter, namely by changing the value of the startup power factor of the motors. Research methods are as follows: theory of automatic control, methods of optimal control and hardware design methods. Conclusions. The role of the drone magnetometer in the monitoring of ground objects has been studied. The study has shown that copters at monitoring ground objects must be equipped with a magnetometer and GPS. The magnetometer is the most sensitive to interference of all sensors. If it does not work properly, the entire drone navigation system stops working. We have carried out experimental studies of the influence of quadcopter design and settings on the quality of its magnetometer work, and hence on work of the copter as a whole. In this paper it is proposed to place a magnetometer inside the body of the drone that will increase its physical safety and simplify the design of the drone, but at the same time it will increase the coupling from the power cables of motors, so it is necessary to choose effective methods of protection. It has been tested whether it is possible to protect the magnetometer from interference from power cables when placing it inside the drone body by grounding, shielding and changing the initial settings of the copter, namely by changing the value of the startup power factor of the motors. The results of the experiments showed that to protect against the interference for magnetometer placed inside the drone body, it is necessary to combine shielding of the magnetometer and decreasing of the startup power factor of the motors.
