We study the new conservation forms of the nonlinear fin equation in mathematical physics. In this study, first, Lie point symmetries of the fin equation are identified and classified. Then by using the relationship of Lie symmetry andλ-symmetry, newλ-functions are investigated. In addition, the Jacobi Last Multiplier method and the approach, which is based on the factλ-functions are assumed to be of linear form, are considered as different procedures for lambda symmetry analysis. Finally, the corresponding new conservation laws and invariant solutions of the equation are presented.

The studying is focusing to the relationship of the concepts of the mathematical subject area on the example of the section of mathematical physics equations. A version of the thesaurus article for terms and related equations and formulas is proposed. The peculiarity of such a thesaurus lies in the use of the context of formulas for their additional identification in the subject area. In addition, it is proposed to take into account the indices of authors and articles where thesaurus terms are found. This approach helps to refine the search query and reduce information noise when using the thesaurus in digital bibliographic collections.

Abstract Ultra-short-period (USP) planets are exoplanets that have orbital periods of less than one day and are unique because they orbit inside the nominal magnetic truncation gap of their host stars. In some cases, USP planets have also been observed to exhibit unique dynamical parameters such as significant misalignments in inclination angle with respect to nearby planets. In this paper, we explore how the geometry of a multiplanet system hosting a USP planet can be expected to evolve as a star ages. In particular, we explore the relationship between the mutual inclination of the USP planet and the quadrupole moment (J 2) of the host star. We use secular perturbation theory to predict the past evolution of the example TOI-125 system, and then confirm the validity of our results using long-term N-body simulations. Through investigating how the misalignment between the candidate USP planet and the three other short-period planets in the TOI-125 system arose, we intend to derive a better understanding of the population of systems with misaligned USP planets and how their observed parameters can be explained in the context of their dynamical histories.

The category theory deals with mathematical structures and relationships between them. Categories now appear in most branches of mathematics and in some areas of theoretical computer science and mathematical physics, and acting as a unifying notion. In this paper, we study the relationship between the category of groups and the category of intuitionistic fuzzy groups. We prove that the category of groups is a subcategory of category of intuitionistic fuzzy groups and that it is not an Abelian category. We establish a function β : Hom(A, B) → [0; 1] × [0; 1] on the set of all intuitionistic fuzzy homomorphisms between intuitionistic fuzzy groups A and B of groups G and H, respectively. We prove that β is a covariant functor from the category of groups to the category of intuitionistic fuzzy groups. Further, we show that the category of intuitionistic fuzzy groups is a top category by establishing a contravariant functor from the category of intuitionistic fuzzy groups to the lattices of all intuitionistic fuzzy groups.

The relationship between the structure and thermodynamic properties of schoepite, an important uranyl phase with formula [(UO2)8O2(OH)12]·12H2O formed upon corrosion of UO2, has been investigated with density functional perturbation theory.

In the present work, we consider two types of bi-warped product submanifolds, M=MT×f1M⊥×f2Mϕ and M=Mϕ×f1MT×f2M⊥, in nearly trans-Sasakian manifolds and construct inequalities for the squared norm of the second fundamental form. The main results here are a generalization of several previous results. We also design some applications, in view of mathematical physics, and obtain relations between the second fundamental form and the Dirichlet energy. The relationship between the eigenvalues and the second fundamental form is also established.

A model based on the k.p perturbation theory to compute the energy bands in a CdTe/PbTe superlattice structure is developed. The model uses the dispersion relations for the heavy hole, light hole and the split off bands to compute the effective bandgap in a CdTe/PbTe superlattice structure. Given a certain thickness of the layers composing the superlattice the model computes the effective bandgap. This model will be used towards understanding the relationship between film thickness and optical bandgaps in a CdTe/PbTe superlattice. The end goal is to tailor the optical bandgap of a CdTe/PbTe superlattice to result in maximum efficiency when used in a solar cell.

AbstractIn a previous paper, Symmetry Finder (SF) method is proposed to find the reparametrization symmetry of the state-exchange type in neutrino oscillation in matter. It has been applied successfully to the 1–2 state exchange symmetry in the DMP perturbation theory, yielding the eight symmetries. In this paper, we apply the SF method to the atmospheric-resonance perturbation theory to uncover the 1–3 state relabeling symmetries. The pure 1–3 state symmetry takes the unique position that it is practically impossible to formulate in vacuum under the conventional choice of the flavor mixing matrix. In contrast, our SF method produces the sixteen 1–3 state exchange symmetries in matter. The relationship between the symmetries in the original (vacuum plus matter) Hamiltonian and the ones in the diagonalized system is discussed.
