The purpose of the article is to define the prosecutor's supervision over investigative (search) actions as a legal guarantee of human rights, as well as problematic issues in its implementation and to make proposals to improve the current criminal procedure legislation of Ukraine. The article defines doctrinal approaches to the concepts of "prosecutor's supervision over compliance with the law during the pre-trial investigation" and "prosecutor's procedural guidance of the pre-trial investigation" in the context of investigative (search) actions. The author came to the conclusion that the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On the Prosecutor's Office" and the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine in terms of regulating the functions and powers of the prosecutor during the pre-trial investigation. Based on the study, it is proposed to consider procedural guidance as one of the forms of prosecutor's supervision over the pre-trial investigation, which is implemented directly by the prosecutor or a group of prosecutors who are appointed to carry it out in a particular criminal proceeding. The author also emphasizes the existence of forms of supervision of the highest level prosecutor on the legality of these actions, which are implemented through the demand and study of information on the progress and results of pre-trial investigation, criminal proceedings and certified copies of court decisions and study of compliance with criminal procedure. A number of problematic issues during the prosecutor's supervision in pre-trial criminal proceedings are outlined, which relate to the relationship between the prosecutor's supervision and judicial control over the legality of investigative (search) actions; subjects and subject of supervision of the prosecutor in this sphere; providing the prosecutor-procedural manager and prosecutors of the highest level with instructions and instructions during the investigative (search) actions. To address these issues, it is proposed to amend the current criminal procedure legislation of Ukraine. The study of the materials of criminal proceedings and the survey of the subjects of criminal proceedings indicate the existence of a number of problematic issues that exist during the implementation of the prosecutor's procedural guidance of investigative (search) actions in the context of human rights.

A virtual reality (VR) controller plays a key role in supporting interactions between users and the virtual environment. This paper investigates the relationship between the user experience and VR control device modality. We developed a VR firefighting training system integrated with four control devices adapted from real firefighting tools. We iteratively improved the controllers and VR system through a pilot study with six participants and conducted a user study with 30 participants to assess two salient human factor constructs—perceived presence and cognitive load—with three device modality conditions (two standard VR controllers, four real tools, and a hybrid of one real tool and one standard VR controller). We found that having more realistic devices that simulate real tools does not necessarily guarantee a higher level of user experience, highlighting a strategic approach to the development and utilization of VR control devices. Our study gives empirical insights on establishing appropriate combinations of VR control device modality in the context of field-based VR simulation and training.

Calibration tests are of great importance to ensure rate-sensing accuracy of GyroWheel, an innovative attitude determination and control device. In the process of calibration tests, turntable errors are inevitable, which hinder the calibration accuracy and rate-sensing capability. Hence, error analysis for GyroWheel calibration tests is conducted, and the relationship between the calibration accuracy and the orientation error is established based on analytical derivation and numerical simulations. Subsequently, an error model of the turntable system is derived using rigid body kinematics, by which the relationship between the orientation error and turntable errors is described. According to sensitivity analysis and manufacturing capability, an error allocation method is proposed to determine the accuracy requirement of the test turntable, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by repeated simulation tests. Based on the presented analysis and proposed method in this paper, the effects of various turntable errors on the calibration accuracy can be obtained quantitatively, and a theoretical basis for the determination of the turntable accuracy is provided, which are of great significance to guide the calibration tests and improve the calibration accuracy of GyroWheel.

The split drag rudder is an important yawing control device for the tailless flying-wing aircraft. In this article, a new morphing drag rudder is proposed based on the chordwise continuous variable camber technology. The designs of the structure and actuation system are first presented. A comparative study on the aerodynamics of the morphing and traditional drag rudders is performed numerically. The results show that the morphing drag rudder experiences a larger aerodynamic drag than the traditional one at small angles of attack. The analysis on the structural deformation and the required actuating moment at zero angle of attack are performed. The results show that the deformation due to the aerodynamic load increases more and more slowly with the angle of deflection. Besides, the relationship between the required actuating moment and the trailing edge deformation is linear, which indicates the applicability of using morphing drag rudder for yawing control.

The integrated transmission device of tank and armored vehicles is controlled by the electro-hydraulic control device, and the On-off shift solenoid valve is just the key component in it. As to models of different air gaps and voltages, through the magnetic circuit partitioning method and the finite element method, the relationship between design parameters and the electromagnetic force is got, and the reference ranges of voltage and gaps for steady electromagnetic force are also obtained from the results, which supply the theoretical basis for the design of structure of the solenoid valve.

Abstract Inadequate voltage control occurs when the controlling variable and controlled voltage of a control device are inversely related (i. e., not related in the usual way), potentially adversely affecting the system voltage level. This special situation can be identified by analyzing the elements of a sensitivity matrix constructed to show the relationship between the system control variables. Analysis of these elements not only allows the adequacy or otherwise of voltage control actions to be determined, but also helps to identify any conflict between controls that could, if not addressed, limit the possibilities for voltage control in the system. Furthermore, once the problem of the inadequacy of voltage control actions for a particular operating point has been identified, its impact on voltage stability conditions can be determined by calculating assessment indexes.

The issues of determining the essence of criminal liability as a central category of criminal law, its foundations, moments of emergence and termination are traditionally in the focus of legal science. But no less acute, it seems, is the question of the relationship between prosecution as an accused and criminal liability, as well as, in general, an analysis of the very concept of “bringing to criminal liability”. Addressing this topic, the presentation is relevant and necessary in order to analyze the theoretical and normative ideas about the above phenomena in the context of an adversarial model of justice, to which, based on federal sources (part 3 of article 123 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation; article 15 of the Criminal procedure code the Russian Federation is striving for our country The presented scientific article is the first part of the author’s research on this topic.
