The well-being of every organization and institution lies on the performance of its employees. Local government area councils are created to render services and to address the social needs of the people. These services are highly essential to the sustenance of people at this level. However, when workers who are employed to discharge all these services on behalf of the government to the people are unable to perform their jobs as expected, problems arises as the expected social and economic service are barely executed. The study aimed at examining the effect of self-efficacy and distributive justice on employees’ performance in FCT area councils, Abuja. A survey research design was used and primary data were gathered through the use of questionnaire. A total of 217 returned questionnaires were analyzed. Structural equation model was used to analyze data using Smartpls2. Findings reveal that distributive justice and self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance. The study, therefore, recommends that the operation of distribution justice should be encourage at the grass root level since the employees are motivated by their reward at the end of the day; Self efficacy  of the employees’ should also be improve through effective initiatives so as to motivate employees to perform their jobs optimally.

Exercise self-efficacy is a powerful predictor of physical activity behavior, which enhances health and well-being for older adults. Social relations have been proposed as influential precursors for exercise self-efficacy. In a longitudinal study of 160 older adults with osteoarthritis (76.9% women), the authors found that social support (but not social strain) significantly predicted exercise self-efficacy in a structural equation model examining cross-sectional data: χ2(178, N = 160) = 264.57, p < .01; RMSEA = .06; CFI = .92; TLI = .90. When data were examined longitudinally, however, social strain (but not social support) significantly predicted lower exercise self-efficacy 1 year later: χ2(233, N = 160) = 288.64, p < .01; RMSEA = .04; CFI = .96; TLI = .95. Results support the negativity effect, suggesting that social strain might be the more potent aspect of social relations and should be the target of interventions.

One of the main goals of every individual or household is to achieve financial well-being. Previous research has shown that various factors influence financial well-being. This research aims to develop an integrated family financial welfare model by examining various factors that affect it. This study uses data of 1,158 households taken using an online survey. The data is analyzed using a structural equation model. The results show that financial experience, financial knowledge, financial status, and marital status directly affect financial well-being. Financial behavior significantly mediates the influence of financial behavior, financial knowledge, and locus of control on financial well-being. Furthermore, marital status strengthens the effect of financial knowledge on financial well-being, but it does not strengthen the effect of financial experience on financial well-being. This study suggests that the Government and financial authorities need to improve further the effectiveness of financial literacy and financial inclusion programs and campaign for a more frugal life among households to avoid financial difficulties.

MSEs contribute much to the Indonesian economy and play a crucial role in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Unfortunately, MSEs still have limited access to finance. Financing access (SDGs’ issue), support from the government (environmental aspect), and entrepreneurial traits (inside the MSEs) are central for MSEs’ sustainability. This research investigates the role of a business environment built by the government to ease financial constraints and support self-efficacy in MSEs’ sustainable growth. This research applies the Structural Equation Model method to 750 respondents. Initially the direct factors are estimated and then a moderating factor is added. The results find that financial constraints MSEs’ experience limits the their sustainability, whereas self-efficacy enhances it. Although MSEs possess strong entrepreneurial characteristics as the basis for their growth, financing access remains a burden. The research confirms that the business environment created by the government is an effective strategy to facilitate MSEs’ sustainability. However, MSEs’ sustainability cannot be improved merely by government schemes but must be supported by the financial and banking sectors.

The marginal rate of substitution shows that negatively affected residents of Pak Mun Dam are willing to trade three units of economic well-being to gain one more unit of social well-being. Marginal rate of substitution (MRS) provides important information to the government regarding such trade-offs. Given the limited budget and resources, the optimal point of the combination of these dimensions of well-being should be determined in order to provide better strategy and policy to improve the conditions for residents affected by the dam’s construction. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used to find a standardized estimate of each dimension and used it for MRS calculation.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of compensation,competence and self-efficacy on job satisfaction and its impact on theperformance of inpatient nurses in the Patut Patuh Patju Hospital.Collecting data using the census method with a number of respondents63 nurses. Primary data collection was carried out by distributingquestionnaires which were prepared using a Likert scale and thenanalyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the PartialLeast Square (PLS) program. The results showed that the compensationvariable had a significant effect on job satisfaction and nurseperformance. The competency variable has no significant effect on jobsatisfaction, but has a significant effect on nurse performance. The selfefficacyvariable has no significant effect on job satisfaction. but has asignificant effect on nurse performance. Job satisfaction variable has asignificant effect on nurse performance. The conclusion of this study isthat the variables of compensation, competence, self- efficacy, and jobsatisfaction have a significant effect on the performance of inpatientnurses in the Patut Patuh Patju Hospital Gerung.Keywords: compensation; competence; job satisfaction; nurseperformance; self efficacy

The current research aims to explore the impact of Science and Mathematics teachers’ self-efficacy on their intentions to leave through the mediating effects of their affective wellbeing (stress, burnout, and depression). Data were collected from 329 teachers of Science and Mathematics who were selected randomly with a clustered sampling method from 232 secondary schools in South and East Anatolia, Turkey. The structural equation model that yielded the best fit indicated that as teachers’ self-efficacy levels increase, their stress, burnout, depression, and intent-to-leave levels decrease. Teachers with high self-efficacy are less likely to develop intention-to-leave because of their positive affective well-being indicators. Results suggest that maths and science teachers who have optimistic beliefs in their capabilities can more easily cope with the stressors at work and have better affective well-being, and consequently, a lower level of intention-to-leave. The results provide educational leaders with insights as to how better to retain qualified Science and Mathematics teachers. Abstract Understanding effects on the overall well-being of the communities affected by the Pak Mun Dam construction would fill in the gaps in existing knowledge and facilitate a deeper discussion of the factors that impact overall wellbeing. The Pak Mun Dam was finished in 1994 and from that point on there have been changes affecting local residents. This study attempts to understand the impact of those changes from a well being perspective using primary data collected from residents in villages close to the dam site. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was method for this research analysis. Results from a structural model show that social and economic well-being are important factors that impact the overall well-being of the affected residents from the Pak Mun Dam area. Furthermore, we discuss how information from 20 items within seven dimensions of the well-being measurement model can be used to develop more efficient strategies and policies to increase well-being capital.

Given the rapidly increasing number of foreign nationals migrating to Korea, this study investigates the relationship between cultural adaptation, tourist satisfaction, and quality of life among Chinese immigrants in Korea. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 344 Chinese immigrants in Korea who visited Gyeongju, where Korean World Heritage sites and modern tourist facilities coexist. A structural equation model was used to verify the hypothesis and indicated that cultural assimilation and cultural separation had a significant effect on tourist satisfaction, whereas cultural integration and cultural change did not have any statistically significant effect on tourist satisfaction. Additionally, tourist satisfaction had a significant effect on quality of life (in terms of subjective well-being and psychological well-being). The results of this study can function as a reference for improving Chinese immigrants’ cultural adaptation, tourist satisfaction, and quality of life.

Global challenges posed by climate change and environmental deterioration are increasingly driving entrepreneurship with sustainable entrepreneurial intention as a key driver in predicting entrepreneurial activities. Together with experience, the environmental values of an entrepreneur are vital for sustainable entrepreneurial intention. However, the extent to which experience is a key factor to start up a sustainable enterprise is still rather unclear. To study the role of experience, we derive from the theory of planned behaviour three factors (personal attitude, social norm and self-efficacy) to examine their impact on environmental values and sustainable entrepreneurial intention. Based on a meta-analysis, the overall directions and effect intensity of the different factors in this relationship can be investigated. We develop a structural equation model to explore the mechanism behind the interaction between the different variables. We utilize information from 37 scientific articles using 40 empirical samples, 117 effect sizes and 192,015 observations. We found that environmental values are indeed positively related to a sustainable entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, the relationship between environmental values and sustainable entrepreneurial intention is moderated by experience, as well as personal attitude, social norms and self-efficacy. In addition, environmental values are more positively related to the intention to set up a sustainable venture for entrepreneurs with low-experience compared to those entrepreneurs with high-experience. For policy makers and managers, it becomes important to stimulate environmental values to promote sustainable entrepreneurial intentions in order to stimulate the growth of sustainable enterprises. By enhancing these three factors, sustainable entrepreneurial behaviour can be facilitated by increasing entrepreneurs’ sustainable intention.
