This study aims to identify and evaluate the factors including internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external scope (opportunities and threats) in determining the strategy of the Balai Diklat in support the growth of agro-based micro, small and medium enterprises in Makassar City, as well as to determine the Balai Diklat strategy with a deep SWOT analysis support the growth of small and medium agro-based enterprises in the City Area Makassar. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation, interview, with the analysis used is the SWOT analysis. Research result indicates that the factors comprising the internal environment with pay attention to the strengths and weaknesses and the external environment, namely opportunities and threats. Wherefrom the analysis of the internal and external environment hence the results of this study the Makassar Industrial Education and Training Center still has strength and great opportunities in overcoming weaknesses and threats. From the analysis of the results of strategy determination using SWOT analysis, including strategic planning, strategy determination, and decision-making stages regarding the strategy, the strategy carried out by BDI Makassar in encouraging the growth of agro-based micro, small and medium enterprises Develop competency-based training modules and curriculum, Implement monitoring and evaluating programs/activities, recruiting processing machine instructors, general graphic and functional design instructor, Organizing 3 in 1 training, competency-based industrial system training and business incubator, and Improve the quality of human resources by attending training, industrial apprenticeships and writing KTI.

Yogyakarta is a city and the capital of Yogyakarta Special Region in Java, Indonesia. It is renowned as a center of tourism, education and culture. Yogyakarta is one of the foremost cultural centers of Java. This region is located at the foot of the active merapi vulcano. Yogyakarta is often called the main gateway to the Central Java as where it is geographically located. It stretches from Mount Merapi to the Indian Ocean. This province is one of the most densely populated areas of Indonesia. Yogyakarta is popular tourist destination in indonesia after Bali. These have attracted large number of visitors from across Indonesia and abroad to the city. This status makes Yogyakarta is one of the most heterogeneus cities in Indonesia. In edition, Yogyakarta has attracted large number of people to reside in this city for business. One of these comers is small entrepreneurs with their market munchies enterprise (specially a traditional snack trader). This business is one of famous business in Yogyakarta, we will find rows of pavement vendors selling market munchies. The students and tourists are their main target customers. Market munchies enterprise is part of small and medium enterprises SMEs as livelihood activities. SMEs has an important role in economic growth of Indonesia. Therefore, it is very important to develop and strengthen the micro enterprise empowerment. Micro enterprise empowerment is one of strategy to reduce the poverty rate in Indonesia. Major challenger in implement this program are that micro entrepreneurs are conventional and have satisfied with their revenue. It is very important to develop a comprehensive and sustainable micro enterprise empowerment which consist of strengthen the quality of human resources, maximize the government’s roles, empower the enterprise capital and strengthen the partnership and autonomous. Micro enterprise autonomy will contribute to the economic and investment climate. This will lead to establish an accountable enterprise both for the micro enterprise and customers which at the end will strengthen the development of the micro enterprise in Yogyakarta.Keyword: micro entreprise, human resources, government roles, capital, partnership and autonomous.

This research begins with the development of MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) which is an illustration of strengthening regional potential. Developing MSMEs can improve services to consumers in order to create buying interest. The benchmarks that are assessed through the level of confidence in a product directly aim to analyze customer interest. In this study, it is explained that customer interest is product quality, service quality, price, and cost which are closely related to meeting the service needs of the Tebing Tinggi Business Clinic (KLIBI) assisted them. The method used is the canonical analysis method which is a multivariate model that studies the relationship between the dependent variable set varied from the independent variable set. The data characteristics for canonical correlation are metric data, namely interval or ratio data. The research result gained that responsiveness and concern give the significant effect on the cost so that customers want to buy continuously. For the recommendation, The Government needs to improve the quality of product endorsement among Tebing Tinggi and Indonesian consumers by making the program business promotion and international exhibitions through KLIBI.

This research is motivated by the number of companies in Batam that closed and left Batam which caused many unemployment, so the role of MSMEs in Batam is now very much needed. The focus of this study is to determine the application of accounting information systems and the quality of MSME financial reports on business development in Batam City. This research was conducted at Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Batam City, Riau Islands Province. The subjects of this study are business people or MSME businesses that utilize revolving funds from the City Government (Pemko) of Batam, which are recorded at the Batam City Cooperative and MSME Office. The population in this study are business or MSME businesses that utilize revolving funds from the City Government (Pemko) of Batam as many as 2,105 businesses and by using the Slovin formula so that the sample becomes 96 MSMEs. All samples come from SMEs who run businesses in Batam City. Research shows that the application of accounting information systems has a significant effect on business development in Batam City, the quality of MSME financial reports has a significant effect on business development in Batam City, the application of accounting information systems and the quality of MSME financial reports simultaneously has a significant effect on business development in Batam City

There are 740 cooperatives registered in Bandar Lampung, but more than 50% are suspended. Of these, only a few are actively reporting their financial performance in the form of complete financial statements. Therefore the author assumes that it is important to analyze the comparison financial performance of conventional cooperative and of Islamic cooperatives in the city of Bandar Lampung. The overall financial performance of cooperatives is assessed based on the regulation of the State Minister for Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of  Republic of Indonesia Number: 14 / PER / M.KUKM / XII / 2009.  The assessment of cooperative health includes capital, quality of productive assets, management, efficiency, liquidity, independence and growth, and cooperative identity. To assess the financial performance of sharia cooperatives is based on the regulations of the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises No. 35.3 / Per / M.KUKM / X / 2007. In addition to cooperative health assessments covering capital, quality of productive assets, management, efficiency, liquidity, independence and growth, and identity of cooperatives, there is an assessment of compliance with Islamic principles. The objects in this study are cooperatives that actively reported their finances to the cooperative service in 2015 and 2016. There are 24 conventional and sharia cooperative financial reports analyzed. Based on the analysis, the financial performance of conventional cooperatives gets a final score of 67.15 while the sharia cooperative gets the final score amounting to 74.13. The value indicates that conventional cooperatives and Islamic cooperatives are equally healthy.  Nevertheless, it can be said that the financial performance of Islamic cooperatives is better than that of conventional cooperatives.

The community and industry have been developing sago products. However, the downstream industrial development of sago products carried out by the community is still very limited, both in terms of type and quality. The aim of this study was to formulate strategies and policies for the development of technology for downstream sago products, especially sago noodles. The study was conducted in the Meranti Islands District in 2019, with a sample of 40 sago noodle micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Data collection was carried out by means of surveys and focus group discussions (FGD). Data analysis using SWOT analysis. The results of the research found that the majority of sago processing technology was still traditional and semi-modern and 87.5% of the sago noodle product quality was not good. Efforts to organize the production space according to product hygienic sanitation standards and improve sago noodle product packaging technology are the right strategies to improve the quality of sago noodles. Therefore the policy of developing sago noodle downstream product technology is implemented by Building supporting facilities for the smooth running of the sago noodle business, such as providing clean and proper water facilities for processing sago noodles, Providing socialization, and improving the quality of human resources regarding quality and sago noodle packaging.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) of Areta Agung is a brick-and-mortar SME in the city of Palembang. The purpose is to increase the productivity of brick sales. The results based on sales data Market Share as much as 24%. Before improving the strategy formulate external and internal factors. Externally using benchmarking data, namely the comparison of similar SME factors and internal results from brainstorming, namely data obtained from the results of SME of Areta Agung. In this study SWOT analysis is used to find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats faced by SME. After that, the SWOT matrix generates an improvement strategy, which is then improved using the Marketing Mix (4P). Its implementation includes products, namely receiving services outside of operations. Price is the addition of price variations for shipping outside the city. Promotion, namely making online sales advertisements, sales promotions, publicity, personal selling. The place is to add a building depot subscription. The results obtained by Partial Productivity before preparation were 0.565.

Management ability should be the activity that supports small and medium enterprises to be more effective and efficient in carrying out the enterprise in order to have high competitiveness. The problem occurred is there are many small and medium enterprises have poor management. The same problem also faced by Batik Tulis lasem industry, so the competitiveness of Batik Tulis Lasem industry is not optimal. This research aim is to obtain the proper enterprise management model as the effort to improve Batik Tulis Lasem competitiveness. Data analysis used is qualitative approach and SWOT analysis. The research result is the enterprise management model developed consists of production management, human resources management, marketing management and financing management. In implementing this enterprise management model is also developed criterion of enterprise performance measurement. The enterprise subjects have to carry out SWOT analysis for their enterprises, so the enterprises conditions and the competitor position this time can be identified.

Strategy for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) kemplanganggang in Martapura District, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency. The method used in this study used a saturated sample method, the samples taken were SMEs, kemplang traders and the Department of Industry and Trade in the city of Martapura. The types of data used in this study include primary and secondary data, which are analyzed using the SWOT matrix. The results of the research in the field obtained an average of 2.93 internal factors and 3.26 external factors, this means that the Kemplanganggang UKM in Martapura District, East OKU Regency is in position II with a concentration strategy through Horizontal integration, from the SWOT analysis it can be concluded that UKM Baked kemplang has weaknesses and threats that must be minimized so that it can develop more advanced in the future, there are several ways that have been analyzed, namely by increasing kemplang production, making packaging more attractive and using labels, promoting through social media, increasing forms. kemplang variants to make it more attractive, and add outlets and expand the network by entering areas where there is no kemplang production.

Abstrak                                                                          Perkembangan industri di Indonesia memberikan perubahan bagi Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) untuk bersaing memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Obyek penelitian ini pada UKM Benok di Desa Klampok Kecamatan Tongas Kabupaten Probolinggo hasil budi daya jagung yang diolah menjadi makanan ringan Emping dan Tortilla Jagung. UKM Benok memiliki peluang masuk di pasar swalayan. Namun identitas UKM Benok masih belum jelas dalam penerapan visualnya. Sehingga perlu meredesain logo Benok yang memiliki kekuatan identitas citra produk jagung. Upaya redesain dan media promosi dalam meningkatkan daya beli masyarakat adalah bagian dari proses mengungkap problematika yang dihadapi oleh UKM Benok, terutama bertujuan peningkatan citra produk makanan ringan. Melalui metode penelitian Desain proses pengumpulan data yang kemudian di lakukan analisis SWOT, analisis visual dan verbal guna menghasilkan redesain logo, analisis warna dan konfigurasi yang dijadikan dasar dalam mendesain label kemasan dan media promosi sebagai citra produk. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan kemasan menggunakan standup pouch, mampu memberikan kemudahan konsumen dan meningkatkan kualitas produk Benok. Sedangkan penguatan citra produk dengan meredesain yang meliputi logo, naming dan warna serta pendekatan fotografi dalam penguatan visual pada desain label kemasan dan desain poster sebagai penguatan merek yang mampu bersaing di pasar dan mampu meningkatkan daya saing dari Benok. Kata Kunci: citra produk, kemasan, logo, media promosi, redesain AbstractThe development of industry in Indonesia provides a change for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) or “Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM)” to compete with consumers. The object of this research is Benok UKM in Klampok Village, Tongas Subdistrict, Probolinggo District, the results of corn cultivation processed were snacks, Emping, and Corn Tortillas. Benok UKM has the opportunity to enter the supermarket. However, the identity of Benok UKM is still unclear in its visual application. So it is necessary to redesign the Benok logo that has the strength of the corn product image identity. Efforts to redesign and promote media in increasing people's purchasing power are part of the process of uncovering the problems faced by Benok UKM by particularly aiming at improving the image of snack products. Through research design methods the process of collecting data is then carried out a SWOT analysis, visual and verbal analysis to produce logo redesign, color analysis, and configuration that are the basis for designing packaging labels and promotional media as product images. The results of this study are the development of packaging using standup pouch, able to provide consumer convenience, and improve the quality of Benok products. While strengthening the product image by redesigning that includes logos, naming, and colors as well as a photographic approach in visual reinforcement on the packaging label design and poster design as a reinforcement of a brand that can compete in the market and can increase the competitiveness of Benok. Keywords: logo, packaging, product image, promotion media, redesign

SMEs (Micro-Small and Medium Enterprises) are one of business sector that has an important role for improving economy condition in Indonesia. One of the SMEs that has the potential to competition is food SMEs. To create food MSMEs that able to compete with the other food products, they must be able to maintain the quality of various aspects. The many problems faced by food SMEs require a strategy to develop and continue. This research aims to create competitiveness and strategy in food MSMEs. This research was conducted by identifying food MSMEs, analyse the influence of internal factors and external factors with the IE matrix, looking for the formulation of food SMEs strategies using SWOT and QSPM methods. The location of the research was conducted in the city of Bandung, West Java. The results of this research based on the IE matrix show that the Bandung City food UMKM requires a grow and build strategy. Based on the SWOT and QSPM methods, various alternative strategies were obtained. Strategy III is the most suitable strategy for Bandung's food UMKM with a value 6.433. Strategy III is "improving human resource capabilities, utilizing associations and government support to expand product markets". The level of diversity of food MSMEs in Bandung is high, that makes the characteristics of the commodities produced. The majority of business people rely heavily on the government in all aspects of business. Procurement of raw materials is carried out independently with a contract system and own business capital
