The present research article emphasizes on the application settings of linguistic functions in communication through smartphone Mobil Communication. The study looks at the tech-apps WhatsApp and Telegram as networks to deliver written and spoken and icon language interchanges among the users. The study was conducted by following suitable research protocols. This prospect involved the revision of specialized materials such as publications and webpages focused on the subject being investigated. Database from a survey given to 100 students is also shown as part of this research criterium. The outcome of this study has drawn the attention of being academically aware about the Tech-Linguistics-System created by Tech-Apps-Users when conducting communication settings that involve lexicon and syntax stereotype linguistic messages. This study is very useful for scholars interested in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics Studies.

The present research study aimed to deliver an overlook based on the behavioral tendency of the users of WhatsApp and Telegram when applying linguistics into communicative messages. Through a particularized literature framework, the research study has displaced some notable influencer tech-application factors and applied linguistics specificness that are currently characterizing WhatsApp and Telegram Interpersonal Communication backgrounds. The research study was conducted by following suitable research protocols. This prospect involved the revision of specialized materials such as publications and webpages focused on the subject presented. Database from a survey piloted among university students formed part of this research criterium. The survey served to measure public’ level of favoritisms applied linguistics text, voice, and picture WhatsApp and Telegram messages. This study is very useful for scholars interested in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics Studies .

Scientifically speaking we, all know that the origins of language and culture remain unknown. Researchers relate to fossil, archeology evidence, and historical accounts in attempting to access what many scholars do think is a topic that lacks of direct evidence. However, when it comes to the languages and cultures we know today, it could be viable to investigate correlational language and cultural patterns in Applied Linguistics Studies. Thus, the present research study looks at the Spanish syntaxes [tú and usted] to highlight correlated linguistic and cultural traits. It presents an analyse of the Applied Linguistic and Culture patterns related to the subject investigated, and methodological insights based on the method developed by Edward T. Hall, a prospect that describes and analyses cultures. The research study was conducted by following suitable research protocols. This criterium involved the analysis of various research publications and Internet accredited website sources. This research study is beneficial for scholars involved and interested in conducting researchers related to Spanish Linguistic and Cultural Connectiveness Patterns.

Rhetorical move analyses of research article (RA) abstracts have established variations across disciplines and cultures. However, there is still a need for more explorations on Applied Linguistics discipline. Comparing native and other group of non-native speakers of English, such as Filipino users of the language, has also been a neglect in research as far as the researcher’s knowledge is concerned. Hence, this study investigated the rhetorical moves in the RA abstracts of American and Filipino writers who are published in two journals related to Applied Linguistics field. The study also explored the lexical verbs underlying each move in all the abstracts. Each abstract was then segmented into moves. Findings revealed that the moves Situating the Research (STR), Presenting the Research (PTR), and Discussing the Research (DTR) were obligatorily used by both groups of writers, while the moves Describing the Methodology (DTM) and Summarizing the Findings (STF) were obligatory only among Filipinos and optional among Americans. Filipino writers appear to develop their own conventions deviating from Americans who are considered native speakers and norm providers. The results also amplify the existence of cultural differences even in abstract writing. Further, the study details lists of lexical verbs that may be used to realize a rhetorical intent of each move. Hence, academic writing instructions may be informed by the rhetorical and linguistic realizations unveiled in this study. Directions for future research are likewise provided.

Abstract This study explores the benefits of a synergy between ESP research on genre and theoretical dimensions of Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL). It models genre on SFL dimensions and employs this model to analyse 200 biodata written by Applied Linguistics scholars, 100 each from research articles and seminar posters. Data were analysed from contextual, logico-semantic and lexicogrammatical perspectives. The findings reveal five generic stages in biodata. The frequency distribution of these stages and the phases that realise them shows variation between research article bios and seminar bios. The most frequent logico-semantic (or rhetorical) relations identified among stages and phases are of the expansion type, namely addition and elaboration, Further, collocational frameworks are used in organising some generic phases into waves of meaning and in construing different identities. Finally, evaluative resources, in the form of lexical bundles, modification and circumstantial elements in the clause, are employed by writers to boost their professional achievements and promote themselves. These findings contribute to theoretical discussions on genre and the scholarship on the interface between identity construction and academic writing, and also motivate further research.

      The discussion section forms an integral part in the writing process of a research article (RA). Research authors find it difficult to write and produce a well-structured discussion for their findings. The reason could be due to the unawareness of the main components (rhetorical moves) that shape this section. Therefore, this paper aims to provide a review of the studies that have been done to analyze the discussion section of RAs over the last 36 years. Also, this review seeks to examine the discussion section of RAs across various scientific disciplines and different types of journals. The review showed that the rhetorical structure of RAs discussion section witnessed some changes over the course of time. New moves such as Research Implications and Research Limitations started to be parts of the discussion section of RAs. In addition, it was revealed that differences in writing the discussion section can be varied broadly across disciplines such as soft sciences (e.g., applied linguistics, sociology, psychology) and hard sciences (e.g., engineering, chemistry, biology) and slightly across types of journals such as ISI and local journals. In conclusion, this paper offered several suggestions for further research to be conducted in the area.

The relevance of the topic is largely due to the development of the country's tax base and the expansion of the geography of the special tax regime of the NAP. The main aspects of the functioning described in the work help to assess the advantages and disadvantages of the tax for self-employed persons. The purpose of the study is to reflect the trend in the development of a special tax regime for self-employed citizens in the Russian Federation. In connection with the purpose of the study, the following tasks were solved: to reveal the essence of the “self-employed population”, to characterize the main provisions of the special tax regime of the NAP, to consider the statistics of the number of self-employed persons in the Russian Federation, to identify the specifics of the tax regime for the self-employed population. The subject of the research is the special tax regime "Tax on professional income". The object of the research is the regulatory framework, as well as statistical data submitted by individuals to the Federal Tax Service on the implementation of activities to provide services to other individuals for personal, household and (or) other needs.As part of this research article explores the concept of "self-employed" citizens and trends in the use of special tax regime for the self-employed population in Russia according to the Federal Law from 27.11.2018 No. 422 «On the experiment of establishing a special tax regime "Tax on professional income"». The positive and negative aspects of the functioning of the tax regime are identified and the dynamics of the implementation of the law is studied.

This research article deals with commercial polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)-based composites filled with 30% of bronze microparticles. This shade is used as guide rings in hydraulic cylinders. After a certain number of slip cycles, seal wear is one of the main causes of leaks in the hydraulic systems. To solve this problem, it is essential to act on the seal materials to increase its lifetime and consequently the lifetime of hydraulic systems. Excessive pressure on the seal causes a significant wear while a light contact causes lubricant leak. For both situations, we have a failure of the system. For this reason, it is necessary to have a perfect contact between the seal and the metal surface and simultaneously with minimal wear. This problem is the subject of our research works. We analyze, in this article, the tribological behavior of a PTFE/bronze composite under dry and lubricated sliding conditions for different frequencies and loads. An alternating linear motion ball/plane tribometer has been used to characterize friction and wear behavior of the material. Micrographic observation of wear track was taken with the optical microscope. The results showed the good friction behavior of material for low values of loads and frequencies and essentially for 33 N of load with 1 Hz frequency or for 81 N as normal load with 0.75 Hz frequency as well as lubrication improve the wear rate of the PTFE/bronze composite. Under lubrication, load and frequency become inversely proportional to friction coefficients.

Genre pedagogy plays an important role in helping graduate students to enter the discourse community of their fields. Although familiarity with research genres benefits graduate students, few studies have explored the influences of instruction on learners’ subsequent generic practices. In this study, we describe the genre-based approach used in a bilingual (English and Spanish) Applied Linguistics graduate course, which aimed to enhance students’ research genre awareness to allow them to be better able to confront their own work as investigators. The description of the course is followed by a study to determine if and how a research article discourse analysis task influenced the students’ academic writing in their own papers. Our research question was the following: To what extent can course instruction influence students’ academic writing? The study entails a survey to elicit students’ perspectives on the influence of the course and its tasks on their academic writing, as well as teachers’ comments on the students’ written work. Although learning to do research at the graduate level requires a broad range of competencies that go beyond genre awareness, the findings from the survey confirmed the positive effects of genre knowledge gains in accomplishing further research goals.
