Through our research paper we try to get to the translation as one of the most important bridges that links between the different cultures, as well as the transition of translation from it's communicative function that guarantees confluence and dialogue of cultures, to a function that guarantees the cultural interaction between peoples and civilizations, through the principal of cultural interaction which states the recognition and respect of all the cultures, without preferring one over another and fight all the ideas of globalization that seek to impose domination and unilateral cultural profiling.

Making the mergers work successfully is not that easy as here we are not only just putting the two organizations together but also integrating people of two organizations with different cultures, attitudes and mindsets. While making the merger deals, it is necessary not only to make analysis of the financial aspects of the acquiring firm but also the cultural and people issues of both the concerns for proper post-acquisition integration and to make the combination successful.

South Africa is the country of many cultures and many religions. This diversity had not created or led to significant internal strife, especially after 1994 when South Africa entered the era of democracy from the shackles of colonialism and apartheid. The previous regimes marginalised cultures as tools of unity, but preferred to use them as tools of separation, segregation, and isolation. This context calls for some dialogue between theology and cultures within South African multi-cultural and multi-religious context. Social divisions perpetuate discrimination based on culture and religion. The scope of this article is to demonstrate that when theology and culture have a dialogue with each other, an understanding of each other is heightened and harmony becomes inevitable. Through literature on history, sociology, theology, and current events, the hypothesis was made that there is a gap between culture and theology. This has created divisions in societies. Conclusions are based on theological findings that when dialogue is used, people of different cultures and religions come to understand each other. Dialogue is a biblical and theological tool to unite diverse people. It brings mutual understanding and promote cooperation and coexistence. South Africa can be a united diversified society living in peace if dialogue is given a chance. As much as there can be understanding and acceptance of people of other cultures and religions, there can be some resistance due to the historical legacy of separateness and societal isolation. Openness to others and dialoguing with them, however, breaks down walls of hostility.Contribution: This article demonstrates the importance of theo-cultural interaction within a multi-cultural and multi-religious society. It points out the importance of the theology of dialogue engaging culture and theology to build a harmonious coexistence in a diverse society such as South Africa.

In recent years, the term «globalization» has become a catchword in many languages. It is an open-ended process that implies different levels of unification. In music, attempts have been made by individual and collectively by artists from different cultures in the world. In each case, the process has been focused on the unification of musical sounds that can be identified within the global community. Technology is successful with the duplication of sounds of musical instruments for computer games, but the creation of zones of cultural interaction as defined by actual musical instruments is presenting challenges with the unification of cultural values into one global community. In music, globalization implies «world music» that is articulated as a hybrid product. The process of globalization is readily realized electronically, with sounds of musical instruments, but the creation of zones of cultural interaction, with the same musical instruments, will require a mixture of configuration of factors ranging from ecology to language and cultural manifestation. The objective of zones of cultural interaction is not to unify style of music, but through globalization is the sharing of actual musical instruments. To accomplish this objective, geographic spaces will have to surmount the globalization of the world ecology, language, and culture. En los últimos años, el término «globalización» se ha convertido en una palabra clave para muchas lenguas. Con él se hace referencia a un proceso abierto que implica diferentes niveles de unificación. En el campo de la música, han participado en él, tanto de forma individual como colectiva, artistas de diferentes culturas del mundo. En todos los casos, el proceso se ha centrado en la unificación de sonidos musicales que puedan identificarse por una comunidad global. En este sentido, la tecnología ha conseguido con éxito duplicar los sonidos de los instrumentos musicales para los videojuegos, pero la creación de zonas de interacción cultural, como las definidas por los instrumentos musicales actuales, se enfrenta a una serie de retos derivados de la unificación de los valores culturales en una comunidad global. El proceso de globalización se puede desarrollar fácilmente de manera electrónica con sonidos de instrumentos musicales, la creación de las zonas de interacción cultural con los mismos instrumentos musicales necesitará que se den además una serie de factores, que van desde lo ecológico hasta lo lingüístico y cultural. El principal objetivo de las zonas de interacción cultural no es el de unificar el estilo de música, sino el de compartir los instrumentos musicales actuales a través de la globalización. Para cumplir este objetivo, los territorios en los que se produzca esa interacción tendrán que completar este proceso globalizador atendiendo a criterios ecológicos, lingüísticos y culturales.

<span lang="EN-GB">Dialogical inquiry on astrology offers the participants to gain not only the intellectual and technological knowledge on the subject matter but also the social benefit of the interaction. Different cultures and values may pose as a challenge for adaptation when the participants start to collaborate in order to complete the group work. Hence, multiple sessions of cross-cultural interaction through Astronomy Online Labs had been conducted to give the participants a standardized platform to discuss and communicate. However, it is imperative to observe the content and frequency of the interaction to ensure both parties (Local and Non-local) benefited from such interaction. The interaction had been recorded and analysed to give us some insights for the improvement of the future participants’ engagement. The visualization techniques such as word cloud, word forest, timeline as well as Venn diagram approaches had been used and it is observed that the participants are actively communicating with the Non-local slightly dominating the session. It is hoped that the analysis tool can be embedded in the platform that it can provide dynamic analysis on the go while interaction happens so the moderator can steer the interaction to the intended topic</span><span>.</span>

Summarizing the results of different researches on intercultural interaction, we can state that people feel tension in intercultural contacts when they perceive the situation as threatening their well-being. There are also many empirical evidences that people belonging to different cultures understand well-being in different ways. This understanding depends also on social, economic and other factors. Thereby it is important to study general relationships of subjective well-being and intercultural tolerance and cultural specifics of these relationships. Objectives of the empirical study was to analyze the satisfaction with life as an important factor of cross-cultural interaction; to reveal cultural specifics of modern representations of subjective well-being, and interrelations of the styles of intercultural interaction with subjective well-being in different cultures. Methods: Scales of: Psychological well-being (Ryff), Life Satisfaction (Neugarten, Havighurst, - Tobin), Subjective Happiness (Lyubomirsky - Lepper), General Communicative Tolerance (Boiko) and Ethnic Identity Types (Soldatova, Ryzhova), Student’s T-test, Spearman's rank correlation. Sample: 330 persons (18-55 years old) of 10 different nations and 5 religions. By the time of the survey, all the participants had lived in Russia for some (not less than 3) years, all of them lived in some biggest Russian cities.Results: It was discovered, that people’s satisfaction with their lives directly relates to general and intercultural tolerance. People, more satisfied with their lives, are usually better control their negative emotions, adapt to changing situations, forgive others’ mistakes. Such people admit their and others’ ethnicity and more rarely exhibit extremism in inter-ethnic relations, although they often avoid contact with other ethnic groups. Cross-cultural differences in well-being were revealed among residents of modern Russian big cities. In particular, people belonging to the Jewish religion, were significantly more satisfied with their lives than all the others were. People brought up in the Orthodox culture, were the least satisfied. In many subjective well-being indicators, representatives of the Buddhist and Muslim cultures showed quite good results. Different statistically significant connections between subjective well-being and tolerance were revealed in cultural subgroups. For example, for people belonging to Jewish religion, general tolerance is associated mostly with meaningfulness of life and openness to the world; and ethnic tolerance is associated to environmental mastery and personal growth. For Buddhists meaningfulness of life positively correlates with general and ethnic tolerance, and personal growth correlates only with ethnic tolerance. Muslims showed the similar results, but besides – the correlations of both types of tolerance with ppurposefulness and overall mood tone. For Orthodox Christians, both types of tolerance is mostly related to positive relations with others and overall level of subjective well-being. Conclusions: the life satisfaction and subjective well-being are important factors of intercultural interactions. There are common and culturally specific mechanisms of these factors interaction. In psychological support of cross-cultural interaction it is important to take into consideration cultural differences in well-being understanding and its relations with general and intercultural tolerance.

The purpose of this research is to identify the peculiarities of religious legal consciousness and to review the conflicts, gaps, and additional specific problems arising amidst a convergence of peoples confessing Islam within the European legal-cultural domain. Approaching this question from the perspective of Russian scholarship, the authors evaluate and apply methods of inquiry such as sociological surveys and analysis of law enforcement practices, together with historical, dialectico-materialistic, interdisciplinary, and logical approaches. The given article highlights problems of cultural interaction with special reference to the role of religion in this process, including relative degrees of legal implementation of religion and the influence of religion on personality formation. Here religion is regarded both as a means of social regulation and as a reflection of the specific characteristics and cultural environment of a particular community with its concepts of justice, legality, and ethics. In general, modern secular states fail to take into account the different roots of religious legal consciousness in different cultures, instead perceiving the legality of a juridical fact through the prism of their own respective cultures. Nonetheless, understanding the mechanisms through which legal consciousness forms – including the impact of religion on such formation – represents an important tool for addressing and resolving a number of grave social problems.

The purpose of this research was to examine the moral sensitivity on the interaction between different cultures among secondary school students in Sabah. This qualitative study utilized interviews, document analysis and observation to collect data from its respondents. There were 15 form four students who were selected from diverse ethnic backgrounds in the district of Keningau through purposive sampling technique. In order to examine the characteristics of moral sensitivity on the interaction between different cultures, the researcher adapted an instrument known as Ethical Sensitivity Scale Questionnaire (ESSQ) by Darcia Narvaez. The findings of this study used to address three objectives. The first one was to analyse the characteristics of moral sensitivity among school students of different cultures. The second objective was to identify the presence of moral sensitivity among the different cultures in the selected school. The final objective was to determine to what extent students’ moral sensitivity influenced their moral decisions. The analysis of the findings revealed that concern about others, compassion and adherence to moral values were the three most obvious traits in the interaction between different cultures in Sabah secondary schools. The presence of this moral sensitivity derived from two processes and these were teamwork in accomplishing common goals and cultural assimilation which refers to understanding other cultures to the degree of accepting their values and norms that could be practiced universally. The analysis of this research indicated that moral sensitivity could help students make rational and proper moral decisions with compassion on others regardless of their races. It could help reduce their bias or prejudice in making ethical decisions by putting moral values as their main principle. This study implied how essential moral sensitivity is in the interaction of different cultures and the growth of cultural interaction directly influences the number of elements in moral sensitivity that can be integrated in schools. Moral sensitivity is not just limited to moral education, but it also can be seen in various aspects of languages and religions.

This study aims to examine the dimensions of the conflicts arising from the interactions of two different cultures in intercultural marriages and to examine under which conditions and the level to which cultural adaptation is provided. This study was conducted with 35 participants who have an intercultural marriage and live in Antalya Province’s Alanya District, where people from many cultures and nationalities can be encountered due to Alanya being a tourist region. This study obtained the data using the semi-structured interview method to investigate the conflict and adaptation that may occur as a result of intercultural marriages. The snowball technique has been used to access the participants. At the end of the interviews conducted with these individuals, foreign spouses’ process of adapting to the Turkish family structure and culture, what they’ve acquired from experiencing cultural conflict, and what conflict and adaptation processes they experienced were examined within the scope of family and social environments. The findings from the study have been compiled within the framework of conflict and adaptation as a result of cultural interaction.

ABSTRACTThis work is to emphasize the aspects more or less subjective, more or less arbitrary, that somehow determined the overall vision had, and partly remains, the West, We, on the East, They, the Arabs. This vision, image rather fictitious and created not always innocently, will set the positions and relationships that govern today rapprochement between different cultures. A fundamental and essential aspect of this cultural interaction would come from the hand of the translation, a discipline that, by its nature, will reflect the Other according to their conceptual universe and its interests; in short, according their ideology. In recent decades, the reception of Arabic literature in translation has been greatly reduced, which is essentially due to the negative image that the West has of it. Because the stereotypes of old, in many cases even more exaggerated, Arabic literature is not taken into account as it is, Literature, but rather as a body of studies and technical reports on the society of the Other. The idea that Arabic has nothing to offer intellectually, is fully entrenched, so that any approach, any translation must take it into account and act accordinglyRESUMENMediante el presente trabajo, se pretende hacer hincapié en aspectos más o menos subjetivos, más o menos arbitrarios, que de alguna manera determinaron la visión general y generalizada que tenía, y en parte sigue teniendo, Occidente, Nosotros, sobre Oriente, Ellos, los árabes. Esta visión, imagen más bien ficticia y creada no siempre de forma inocente, será la que configure las posturas y relaciones que hoy en día rigen el acercamiento entre las diferentes culturas. Un aspecto fundamental e imprescindible de esta interacción cultural vendría de la mano de la traducción, disciplina que, por su propia esencia, será la que reproduzca al Otro según su universo conceptual y sus intereses, en definitiva, según su ideología. En las últimas décadas, la recepción de la literatura árabe por medio de la traducción se ha visto muy menguada, lo que se debe esencialmente a la imagen negativa que en Occidente se tiene de la misma. Debido a los estereotipos de antaño, en muchos casos exagerados todavía más, la literatura árabe no es tenida en cuenta como lo que es, Literatura, sino más bien como un corpus de estudios e informes técnicos sobre la sociedad del otro. La idea de que el árabe no tiene nada que ofrecer a nivel intelectual, está totalmente arraigada, tanto que todo acercamiento, toda traducción, debe tenerlo muy en cuenta y actuar en consecuencia.

Understanding the fact, that modern education has to become international, leads to improving ability of young people to evaluate the effects of other human positions, different cultures. This research deals with one of the most perspective trends – the formation of availability of students to interact cross-culturally. It can be understood as applied scientific and educational activity. The availability to interact cross-culturally is defined as a multidimensional construct reflecting individual ability to respond to the differences positively and interact efficiently with the others from a variety of backgrounds. The authors present conceptual approaches (dialogic, contextual, axiological, facilitation and practical) to cross-cultural education of students-translators as methodological tool aimed at providing a fundamental and holistic understanding of personality development in cross-cultural interaction, foundations and mechanisms of its implementation. The availability to interact across cultures is determined by the following components: productive interaction, positive interaction, ability to cultural transformation, multi subjective interaction. The authors stress, that in the process of cross-cultural interaction its participants need to achieve compliance (compatibility) to a new cultural environment. Ability to cultural transformation and adaptation serves the criteria of availability for cross-cultural interaction. It has been determined that a translator ("cultural mediator") is not inherent characteristic, but it is acquired in the real world of interaction and in activities in educational process of high school. It was revealed the dependence of personal efficiency in different cultures from the character and forms of interaction of translator that should promote individual development in cross-cultural context. This aim can be reached in the process of education before the contacts with another culture. For this purpose some practical activates were proposed. The method of interactive modeling is aimed at conscious reproduction of various individual and group situations of cross-cultural communication. The method of stimulation is aimed to create artificially a specific situation of intercultural communication and to predict possible options and outcomes, based on different points of view and aspects. With the use of the method of problem situations students are involved into situations, in which intellectual-ethical issues transform into emotional. Effective communication in translation requires more than mastering grammar and vocabulary of a language. It is the process that requires also knowledge of culture. Culture becomes an important part of the language teaching process. Obtaining cross-cultural competence, translators have a key to successful professional activity.
