The research aims to identify impact models of a healthy working environment ‎and the ‎organization's reputation on the employee's organizational fit. The ‎research population is ‎all private banks in Baghdad, a sample of six banks was ‎selected. 200 questionnaires ‎were distributed, 158 of them returned, 141 of them ‎were valid for analysis. The research ‎employed three approaches: Historical, ‎descriptive, and analytical. To clarify the research's ‎concepts, the first approach ‎was adopted, to clarify the dimensions of the research, the ‎second approach was ‎adopted, and to analyzing the research's dimensions the analytical ‎approach was ‎used. The Amos, 21 software was used to assess the validity of the study ‎model, ‎and the data were analyzed using the spss, 23 programs. The study came up ‎with ‎many conclusions, the most noteworthy of which was that: At the overall and ‎sub-level, the ‎healthy working environment has a statistically significant impact ‎on the employee's ‎organizational fit. And the organization's reputation plays a role ‎in the employee's ‎organizational fit, the impact models between the two ‎dimensions at the overall and sub-‎level were significant and statistical. The ‎research produced a series of recommendations ‎based on these findings, ‎intending to put their findings into reality‎.‎

This empirical study was aimed to explore the impact of work life balance factors on perception towards organisational performance of IT/ITES employees residing in Chennai city. This study was adopted empirical and exploratory research design to gather primary information and perception of IT/ITES employees with the help of structured questionnaire and survey method. The total sample of two hundred was finalized for the present study by adopting non-probability convenience sampling technique. The empirical evidences prove that family support, working environment, organisational climate and organisational commitment have significant and positive influence on perception towards organisational performance of IT/ITES Employees.

This study aims at measuring the impact of organisational memory (OM) on competitive strategies in information technology (IT) companies in King Hussein Business Park (KHBP) in Amman, the capital of Jordan. KHBP comprises of 20 companies, which will form the research population. A random sample was chosen with the sampling unit constituting of 63 out of originally 74 senior employees. The study adopted a descriptive analytical approach and a structured questionnaire was used as a study tool for the purpose of measuring the variables of the study. The outcomes of the study show that OM and its processes (knowledge acquisition, retention, and retrieval) have an impact on both types of competitive strategies (differentiation and lower cost strategies) in Jordan's IT companies. The study presented key recommendations such as: enhancing the role of OM in IT companies given its clear impact on competitive strategies; carrying out additional studies on OM to look deeper into its dimensions, processes, justifications, hindrances, and strategies.

The main objective of this study was to measure the “Impact of Stress on Employee Performance in Public Sector Universities of Sindh.” In every organization performance of employee is debatable subject, to determine stress level in public sector universities and to predict employees performance and an exploratory research was conducted, by considering reward structure, and working environment as independent variable and employee performance as dependent variable. Stress felt by employee during work was major focus of study, study findings reveals that stress is directly related with employee performance, if stress level changes it also bring change in employee performance. Stress impact positively and negatively as result, increase in performance were seen when employee considered it positive, employees became enable to give their performance in better way if stress is positive, and if negative stress is their it can inadequately affect the routine and job of staff. It`s observed that mostly stress impact negatively on performance of employees and it causes physical, psychological, behavioral and social problems. Research results revealed that reward structure has positive and significant effect on employee performance; similarly, there is important contribution of working environment on employee performance too. Stress is indispensable factor to study, working environment and reward structure has massive effect on employees as factor of stress. A quantitative research technique was applied to conduct this study. A survey questionnaire was designed to collect responses. 5-point likert sale used to measure the data. Responses were collected from 310 respondents to test the model in relative to impact of stress on employee performance, data of employee relating to all categories of management in public sector universities of Sindh. In today’s competitive business environment, human resources are one of the most critical assets particularly for service-focused organizations. Consequently, employees’ morale has become invaluable for maintaining outstanding organizational performance and retaining employees. One of the most important factors which may affect employees’ satisfaction is workplace bullying from employers and colleagues at large. It is considered a negative and unethical issue which may degrade, humiliate and create a risk to a healthy working environment. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to investigate the extent to which workplace bullying may affect the organizational outcomes of a sample of five-star hotels in Egypt. Two questionnaires were distributed among the subjects of the sample; bell desk staff, kitchen stewards and head departments. The results of this research confirmed that there is a correlation between workplace bullying, employees’ morale and turnover intentions but, showed no correlation between workplace bullying and employees’ work performance.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to present the importance of a healthy working environment and approaches to establish a healthy working environment of older employees and their impact on work engagement of older employees. The working environment that is not suitable and adapted for older employees presents a big challenge for Slovenian and other companies in which the work force is getting older. Hence, this paper develops a model of a healthy working environment for older employees, in which they could feel well because of its positive affect on their health. Design/methodology/approach The research method in this paper was the descriptive-correlative type. After a systematic review of literature, which relates to this topic, the authors used the compilation method. In addition to descriptive statistics, factor analysis and regression analysis were used in this paper. Findings Considering the demographic changes and active ageing in the workplace, age diversity of employees has to become a part of the general strategy of a company to ensure equality and diversity. Adequate working conditions, which should exist in every company, contribute to the improvement of healthy working environment for older employees and their work-engagement. This paper presents that approaches to establish a healthy working environment of older employees have a positive impact on work-engagement of older employees. Practical implications The stated findings will help companies to better understand and manage their older employees and the importance of establishing a healthy working environment for older employees with which the work-engagement of older employees can be improved. Socially responsible behavior benefits all in this way, too. Originality/value This paper is based on forming a research model for creating a healthy working environment for older employees as a part of social responsibility. The main objective of this paper is to examine the impact of establishment of a healthy working environment for older employees on the work engagement of older employees in Slovenia.

The purpose of the present study is twofold: first, to investigate the true values of Muslim owner managers; second, to examine the impact of these values on entrepreneurial orientations of Muslim small-scale entrepreneurs. 850 Muslim owner managers were selected randomly using the sampling frame provided by MajlisAmanah Rakyat Malaysia (MARA). 162 completed questionnaires were collected and analyzed. For this paper only two dimensions of entrepreneurial orientations were analyzed: proactive orientation and innovative orientation. Interestingly, the findings revealed that Muslim businessmen/women are honest, loyal, disciplined and hard working. Loyalty and honesty are positively related to proactive orientation, while discipline and hard-work are positively related to innovative orientation. The findings provide implications for existing relevant theories, policy makers, practitioners and learning institutions.

Quality of work life is the major factor to be considered in working environment of any organization. The performance of employees and the organization lies on the ability of the employees based on working environment. The QWL leads to better working environment which improves the performance of organization. The present study has made an attempt to find the level of factors causing QWL and the impact of outcome of QWL in banks. Since the profile of the banks may be associated with the level of outcomes of QWL, the present study has made an attempt to examine it with the help of one way analysis of variance and t-test. The included outcomes of QWL are job satisfaction, job stress, organizational climate, organizational commitment, employees retention behaviour, service quality employees and service productivity of employees. The highly associated determinants of QWL and the significant difference among the PUSBs and PRSBs have been noticed. The significantly associating important profiles of the banks regarding the existence of outcome of QWL are identified.

The multi-dimensional relationship between housing and population health is now well recognised internationally, across both developing and developed nations. This paper examines a dimension within the housing and health relationship – accessibility – that to date has been considered difficult to measure. This paper reports on the mixed method results of larger mixed-method, exploratory study designed to measure the impact of home modifications on Health-Related Quality of Life, supported by qualitative data of recipients’ experiences of home modifications. Data was gathered from 157 Australian HACC clients, who had received home modifications. Measurements were taken for both before and after home modifications and reveal that home modifications were associated with an average 40% increase in Health-Related Quality of Life levels. The qualitative results revealed that participants positively associated home modifications across six effect themes: increased safety and confidence, improved mobility at home, increased independence, supported care-giving role, increased social participation, and ability to return home from hospital. This exploratory research gives an insight into the potential for accessible architecture to impact improvements in community health and wellbeing.
