The demands for teachers in most educational institutions are continually increasing. Teachers have to teach an increasing number of students every year while simultaneously providing meaningful and constructive feedback and correcting assignments in a minimal amount of time. Consequently, results and assessment of student’s progress can be considerably delayed. We need easy to use technology for grading and assessing test results and communicating information to students. Changes can be brought about to help teachers become more efficient and effective. This paper examines the role of technology and Web-based software in the classroom for evaluating a students’ assignment. The paper has used both primary and secondary sources of data.

The covid-19 infection has reduced educational institutions' economic aspects and made it possible for the researchers to assess the financial issues associated with funding and efficiency of operations among schools in South East Asian universities. In the realm of education, economic concerns are not the central role of the holder, but actors who properly define educational achievement to conduct all training establishments and activities. The essential components are lifelong training and dedication, competency, managerial skills, and instructors in all educational facilities. The study employed descriptive qualitative and literature review to secondary sources. The primary findings were that, because of the COVID 19 issue, school finances are often challenging to manage on a macro and micro level. Consequently, schools are forced to seek the most efficient allocation of money in the COVID 19 era. This study presents implications for the Fiscal Management of Learning Institutions.

The global pandemic raised several social and economic challenges worldwide. Executing lockdown and closure of educational institutions became only options to mitigate these challenges, leading to educational barriers for billions of students worldwide. In such a situation, the acceptance, adoption and integration of ICT informally supported the learning process. However, policymakers, instructors and critics anticipated adverse consequences due to a fast shift from conventional to eLearning system. In this regard, the current research scrutinized the intervening role of gender in eLearning acceptance during Covid-19 outbreak. Additionally, this study also examines the impact of eLearning acceptance on students’ academic performance under Media System Dependency Theory. Data was gathered from n= 300 participants currently enrolled in n= 3 public sector universities in Islamabad, Pakistan. Results from quantitative data analysis indicated moderately significant gender differences concerning eLearning acceptance during the Covid-19. Similarly, findings also revealed a significant positive correlation between female students and conventional learning, male students and eLearning acceptance. Here the inferential statistics also highlighted the positive impacts of eLearning on students’ academic performance during Covid-19. The study concludes that gender is moderately hindering eLearning acceptance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Even though eLearning positively influences educational performance, stakeholders need to reconsider the current policies and ensure web-based as equally acceptable for all.

Abstract Web-based portals enable patients to access their electronic health records, including test results and clinical documents, from anywhere with Internet access. Some portals also serve as a means of two-way communication between patients and healthcare professionals and provide a platform for the recording of patient-entered data such as home blood pressure readings. Such systems are designed to encourage patient participation in the management of their condition, and ultimately to increase patient empowerment and self-management, which are associated with improved clinical outcomes. As an example of portal use in patients with renal conditions, we discuss the PatientView portal, which is offered free of cost to patients under the care of renal physicians in the UK. We present an account of its various features and briefly describe the user experience. Previous studies examining the impact of this portal on patient care have been very positive; it appears to be popular among users and overall levels of satisfaction with the service are high. As the use of patient portals increases, we discuss barriers to the more widespread use of portals. We offer suggestions on how the care of patients with renal conditions can be enhanced in the future by further developing the existing features, learning from experiences of other patient portals and providing better integration of portal use into the current model of care.

A Learning Management System (LMS) is a system which acts as an integrated platform for the management of the learning process used to facilitate the process of communication between students and instructors. Although LMS is considered an important element in learning, most students do not utilise the system to its fullest extent, finding it more convenient if the activities carried out on the system are done outside the system. These factors have contributed to the issues as to why LMSs are not being used effectively and efficiently. With the accelerating pace of information technology, educational institutions should attempt to revolutionise their teaching techniques. Furthermore, combining gaming concepts can potentially increase the LMS’s usability level helping to foster healthy competition among students and increase their interest in their daily learning. With regard to this objective, a prototype was developed as a proof of concept. The prototype is a web-based software and can be accessed via the Internet at all times. The teacher monitors the students’ performance through the analysis of test results or tutorials conducted by the system. In conclusion, this study will present the modules that have been built into the system that could improve the overall process of education.

Evolution of movie promotion starting with use of traditional methods for the first movie to the near dependence on social media to promote the latest movies produced in India has been chronologically presented. Critical role of web based tools and their synchronization with other media tools in contemporary movie promotion has also been elaborated. As Indian film industry is witnessing impeccable advancements in areas like technology and marketing digitalization, this research shows the use of online tools for attracting consumers. The key research objective is to find out the ability of the production houses to attain maximum customer attraction through various online tools like Facebook, Twitter, Blogs and YouTube. Data has been collected both from primary and secondary sources. Regression analysis has been used to depict the relationship between likes, comments and shares with the number of campaigns. Given the huge contribution of movies to Indian economy, ever increasing competition in this industry and increasing popularity of Web based tools; this study aims to benefit multiple stakeholders including movie producers, individual investors and all other entities related to movie making business such as music companies, distributors, exhibitors and single screen owners.

ABSTRACTThe McDonald–Kreitman (MK) test is a widely used method for quantifying the role of positive selection in molecular evolution. One key shortcoming of this test lies in its sensitivity to the presence of slightly deleterious mutations, which can severely bias its estimates. An asymptotic version of the MK test was recently introduced that addresses this problem by evaluating polymorphism levels for different mutation frequencies separately, and then extrapolating a function fitted to that data. Here we present asymptoticMK, a web-based implementation of this asymptotic McDonald–Kreitman test. Our web service provides a simple R-based interface into which the user can upload the required data (polymorphism and divergence data for the genomic test region and a neutrally evolving reference region). The web service then analyzes the data and provides plots of the test results. This service is free to use, open-source, and available at http://benhaller.com/messerlab/asymptoticMK.html.

Online System course file management aims to keep a full archive of the course file as it can be used in educational institutions or colleges for the quality of the educational service and its development later, this system depends on the standards of quality of national and international educational institutions, also the proposed system allows to retain The course file can be tracked and the decision can be adopted by the quality unit. The role of the Quality Unit comes by reviewing the course file and ensuring that its contents are complete in accordance with the standards of quality of national and international educational institutions, and accordingly the course file is approved or returned due to incomplete file. This research was based on the WEBML methodology, which aims to develop web-based information systems, and has used many tools to implement this methodology, including UML, in order to build analysis and design schemes for the proposed system as well as design the interfaces of the proposed system.

This paper is based on understanding how effective leadership can be instrumental in confronting (potential) organisational challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic in organisations with specific focus on educational institutions in order to effectively lead change in these uncertain times. As well-known all organisations including educational institutions are currently bedevilled by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) challenges, which constitute obstacle to effective educational leadership. In rising above these challenges and in contrast with the managerially oriented educational management, this paper argues that effective leadership can engender effective change management as well as aid educational institutions to rise above this quandary, which will ultimately lead to better student outcomes and organisational success. The methodology adopted here is based on secondary sources and consequently this paper conceptually makes some contributions to the field of educational management, leadership and change management, which would guide policymakers, academics, institutions and governments in these uncertain times. The present paper concludes by demonstrating how effective leadership aids our understanding of how to effectively confront the evils of the coronavirus pandemic in the educational context.
