Purpose: Information technology has influenced every part of life, including work. Technology's incorporation into our daily lives has made living far simpler and more convenient. As a result, the assumptions were to assess the influence of new technology on the pharmaceutical sector, both favourable and negative. The goal of the research is to determine the importance and effect of the technology that are designed in the pharmaceutical sector. The pharmaceutical industry started to implement the IT techniques that can help patient care and also in storage the data of the patient. This paper concentrate on the various implemented technology in the pharmacy field also the current using techniques, and determining the future trends in the pharmacy fields. And finally discussing about the impact in the pharmacy industry. Objectives: To study the role of Information Technology used in Pharmacy industry, and view on various techniques used in pharmaceutical sector. Methodology/Design/Approach: The analysis and the application used in the pharmacy sector are done by referring various research paper, articles. A Literature Survey is done. Findings/Result: Pharmacy started to use the latest technology that can help patientcare. The use new technology and the impact of it are discussed. Originality/value: Based on the secondary data available, the paper focus on the new technologies and impact of pharmacy sector. Type of the Paper: Review paper.

Abstract Automation is affecting all spheres of our daily lives and humans are adapting both to the challenges that it poses and the benefits that it brings. The translation profession has also experienced the impact of new technologies with Language Service Providers adapting to changes (Presas/Cid-Leal/Torres-Hostench 2016; Sakamoto/Rodríguez de Céspedes/Evans/Berthaud 2017). Translation trainers are not oblivious to this phenomenon. There have indeed been efforts to incorporate the teaching of digital translation tools and new technologies in the translation classroom (Doherty/Kenny/Way 2012; Doherty/Moorkens 2013; Austermühl 2013; O’Hagan 2013; Gaspari/Almaghout/Doherty 2015; Moorkens 2017) and many translation programmes in Europe are adapting their curricula to incorporate this necessary technological competence (Rothwell/Svoboda 2017). This paper reflects on the impact that automation and, more specifically machine translation and computer assisted tools, have and will have on the future training of translators and on the balance given by translation companies to language and technological skills.

This case is designed to explore the impact of information technology on business processes. The case starts with a description of a customer’s new technology experience at a McDonald’s restaurant. McDonald’s introduced multiple technologies in recent years as part of its strategic growth plan. The fast-food company is improving its business processes, mainly the order process, with new technologies to provide customer convenience. Such changes are critical to staying successful in the highly competitive fast-food industry. Self-order kiosks, the mobile order and pay app, and the Uber Eats app are three major technologies which have changed the order processes at McDonald’s. Students explore how these technologies change the order process and describe the impact of these technology initiatives at McDonald’s.

This article reports on a proposed evaluation plan that has been developed to assess the work done by the State Information Technology Agency (SITA). The SITA programme was implemented in response to the South African government’s call to improve the lives of the populations in some rural areas through technology. The programme was meant to address slow development in  rural  areas  that  lack  technological  innovations  and  advances.  In  the proposed evaluation plan a review is made of secondary data, deciding how strategic priorities are to be determined, as well as analysis of the rural context environment. The researcher gives an account of how the evaluation strategies are to be piloted and rolled out thereafter. Lessons learnt are recorded and reported upon. A proposed evaluation plan will be developed, based on the lessons learnt in line with the objectives of the project.

This study examines the relationship between dynamic capabilities (experience, routine, skills, firm characteristics, knowledge and technology) and competitive advantage sustainability in the Egyptian pharmaceutical sector. The data was collected using primary and secondary data sources. Primary data was collected from questionnaires distributed to 160 top managers in 20 pharmaceutical firms. The secondary data about pharmaceutical firms like rankings, revenues and market share was collected from external sources such as Intercontinental Marketing Service (IMS). The questionnaires examine six independent variables based on a five-scale Likert scale. The methodology used in the study is non-probability sampling (judgmental sampling), Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient and Chi-square tests. The results support the notion that there is a significant relationship between four of the six dynamic capabilities (experience, skills, firm characteristics and knowledge) and the competitive advantage sustainability for pharmaceutical firms in Egypt. Designing the questionnaire and formulating the questions to target the required field was challenging, given that the topic is dynamic and the business scene in Egypt has witnessed drastic political changes since January 2011. The study should assist pharmaceutical companies in Egypt in directing their investments properly and in determining the weaknesses in their dynamic capabilities that need to be addressed.

Schon heute muss die Strukturlayoutplanung Innovationen und Unsicherheiten in Form von mehr Varianten, abgestimmt in sehr kurzer Zeit, durch die Einbeziehung von weiteren Know-how-Trägern berücksichtigen. Neue Herausforderungen, wie die Planung der Batteriefertigungen, müssen schnell und intuitiv gelöst werden. Einen Beitrag dafür liefert dieser Artikel.   Future technologies in automotive mobility as well as new factory and logistic concepts are changing the framework in car production. Innovations and uncertainties (e. g. the impact of new technologies) have to be taken in consideration for the factory of the future. New tasks, such as planning the assembly of batteries, need to be solved fast and intuitively. This paper presents an approach to this topic.

This study examines the impact of technology on the performance of financial investment in banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange to prove its influence on the development of the banking company's financial performance. The data used in this research is secondary data uses financial statements that have been audited. Data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. Results showed that between investments in information technology affect the company's financial performance. The results of this study illustrate that the company's financial performance would be if the investment in information technology in the company are used effectively and efficiently. This research is important for companies and organizations, in order to better the use or utilization of information technology in the enterprise. The company is only limited to the banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, then further research is recommended to add criteria and indicator others that have not been addressed in this study, in addition to subsequent authors can also extend the sample population to another company with a different field such as manufacturing companies.

Pharmaceutical industry is one of the most important sector in Bangladesh. It is the only industry, which has its own strong manufacturing capabilities to produce the pharmaceuticals product. In this study it is tried to find out what types of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats the pharmaceuticals companies face in Bangladesh. There are about 250 pharmaceuticals firms in Bangladesh. Among them some companies are the large size and more sophisticated. Some companies are small sizes and traditional qualities. A few companies dominate the whole medicine market. So they have to face severe competition in pharmaceuticals market. SOWT (Strength, Opportunity, Weakness, and Threat) analysis of any industry sector investigates the important factors that are possibility of the industry and influencing the companies operating in that sector. The purpose of this study is to analyze the pharmaceutical sector of Bangladesh using the framework of SWOT. This paper brings to light on the SWOT analysis of pharmaceuticals industry in Bangladesh and provided some valuables suggestions to overcome the weaknesses and threats, there are some suggestions to utilize the strengths and opportunities properly. Through this study the researchers try to discuss the affect of various macro-economic factors of strength, opportunity, weakness, and threat aspect on the industry and its related problems and prospects for the future. The aim of the work was to present the issue of eco-efficiency, based on the PN-EN ISO 14045:2012 standard in relation to the production of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME). The ecoefficiency analysis takes into account economic and environmental aspects in the improvement of products and processes / technologies. Eco-efficiency considers the product and technology throughout the life cycle, from the construction phase, through use to decommissioning. The impact on the natural environment is assessed on the basis of: consumption of energy, materials, dust and gas emissions, waste and sewage. Total costs include: production costs, raw material costs, costs during the use phase including maintenance, repair and operating costs, product disposal or recycling. The eco-efficiency analysis is helpful in making decisions regarding the selection of a new product or designing a new technology, and enables the selection of the variant that is the most economical and has the least possible impact on the natural environment. These issues are particularly important in the case of biofuels. The rapid growth of their production and the European Union’s policy, which aims to increase the share of energy from renewable sources, cause concerns of many experts regarding the threats related to the production of biofuels, both for the environment and food security. In particular, efforts are made to minimize the amount of waste and residues by implementing the idea of a circular economy. This approach promotes the development of new technologies that are more environmentally friendly. Due to the regulations set out in the RED and RED II Directives, there is a chance that the biofuels will have a less negative impact on the environment. This results from the obligation to certify compliance with the sustainability criteria, which is carried out by voluntary systems recognized by the European Commission, such as the KZR INiG System.

The key challenge for the telecommunication business industry in the global world’s is “assuring competitiveness and profitability” for their companies in turbulent environments. Never in history has the pace of change in the business environment been as rapid as it is now. Recent developments such as the global marketplace, customers’ demands that are differentiated by different buying power and product preferences in this environment, technological leadership is one of the key success factor. New technologies and new industries develop rapidly and customers are prepared to pay for the most newest technology. The company’s strengths and successful strategies of the corporate leadership in the past are likely to remain relevant in the future. The research findings revealed that the turbulent environment level in the mobile telecommunication industry was in the discontinuous –strategic level, where the future is not extension of the past. This environment situation facing by Indonesia’s telecomunication industry need the corporate leadership to challenge the organisation survival. This research is based on the qualitative descriptive method by using data obtained from telecommunication industry experts and secondary data.
