The aim of this document is to present a new teaching model in higher education focus on the student. The model develops an iterative and incremental learning system based on the fundamentals of agility and the organization of agile work, improving learning performance and the benefit of students. This model develops a system based on the Scrum methodology that allows continuous deliveries of value from the student to the teacher, adapted to the learning goals of the educational programs, approaching a cultural, organizational and structural change through the application of methods, Agile practices and dynamics within a framework that encourages innovation and continuous improvement of students.

The ever-growing demand for digital IT industry specialists brings to the fore the task of developing effective educational programs that ensure a high qualification level of graduates. The result of such activities – the turn-out of highly qualified specialists will depend on how much more detailed all the components of the educational activities of the University are considered, designed and implemented. Therefore, when developing and updating educational programs, higher education institutions will have to clarify the composition of professional competencies that must meet both the needs for effective performance of generalized labor functions and labor functions fixed in professional standards, and many educational parameters fixed in the regulatory framework of Russian higher education. The purpose of this research is to develop innovative educational programs at the stage of digital transformation of higher education and the transition to practice-oriented project training of University graduates in IT areas. The research tasks include the following stages: 1. Development of a conceptual model of an intelligent integrated educational environment based on the interface of ontologies of professional and educational standards. 2. Systematization and organization of elements of the digital repository and on its basis, the development of algorithms for generating educational-methodical and organizational-administrative content of the intellectual integrated educational environment. 3. Testing methods for generating content in the intelligent integrated educational environment. This task can be achieved only by integrating all components of the educational process into a single information and educational space. The solution to this problem is seen in the development of methods and tools for generating educational-methodical and organizational-administrative content based on the digital repository of the electronic learning system through knowledge management technologies that ensure the adaptability of the educational process using the ontological approach. Such work is currently being carried out at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, including ICT areas. The analysis of professional activity of graduates of bachelor’s degree and master’s degree programs in terms of requirements of the Federal State Education Standards of Higher Education in the field of “Applied Informatics” has shown that these requirements with varying degrees of completeness correspond to a number of professional standards in the field of IT industry. As a result of the analysis of the factors for improving the quality of the educational process, the ways to improve training of bachelors in the field of “Applied Informatics” in the context of combining ontologies of professional and educational standards are outlined. The article also provides approaches to the development of an approximate basic educational program in this direction and reveals the method of its engineering, based on the interaction and composition of elements of the integrated information and educational space and, on its basis, semantic modeling and automatic generation of educational and organizational and managerial content. Thus, the proposed method will contribute to improving the efficiency of the educational process and meet the world trends in the development of science in this field of knowledge, which will bring the training of highly qualified IT industry specialists to a qualitatively new level.

Currently, the online learners are increasingly demanding more personalized learning since the web technology, and the learners have individual features of characteristics such as learning goals, experiences, interests, personality traits, learning styles, learning activities, and prior knowledge. A personalized learning process requires an adaptive learning system (ALS). In order to adapt, a learner model is required. Thus, modelling the learner model in an adaptive system environment is a key point to success in recommending the learner. The ontology-based approach was used to model the adaptive learning model in this research.   Ontology is a graph structure that consists of a collection of contexts, relationships, and models which related to contexts. The ontology of the learner model enables to produce a description of learner’s properties which contains important information about domain knowledge, learning performance, interests, preference, goal, tasks, and personal traits. Keywords - Personalized Learning, Adaptive Learning System, Ontology, Learner Model

Обоснованы предложения по интенсификации программ повышения квалификации преподавателей, насыщению образовательных программ вопросами применения современных технологий менеджмента. the authors consider the conservatism of university educational programs as one of the obstacles in the preparation of potential university teachers. The article discusses the features of training higher education teachers in the areas of social and humanitarian education. The authors present the results of a survey of undergraduates and graduate students, indicating a lack of applied knowledge of postgraduate and graduate students in the field of modern technologies such as Agile. The article substantiates the proposals on the intensification of teacher development programs, the saturation of educational programs with the application of modern management technologies.

PurposeThis research examined the factors affecting several types of student engagement, namely agentic, behavioral, emotional and cognitive engagement. Specifically, it examined the effect of e-learning system usability on student engagement and explored teacher behavior's possible intervening impact on this relationship.Design/methodology/approachData were collected from 418 students studying at different specializations at Omani private academic institutions. This study employed a quantitative methodology and utilized the Smart-PLS for data analyses.FindingsThe findings showed that e-learning system usability influenced significantly and positively agentic, behavioral and cognitive engagement. However, the link between e-learning system usability and emotional engagement was not significant. Moreover, teacher behavior mediated the relationship between e-learning system usability and the four types of engagement.Originality/valueThis study improves one’s understanding of how the interaction of e-learning system usability and teacher behavior affects several aspects of student engagement. It also helps higher education administrators and policymakers by exploring the influential effects of e-learning systems usability and teacher behavior on facilitating students' engagement.

National and International Accreditation Bodies have as fundamental objective to evaluate the quality, pertinence and continuous improvement of the academic programs of Computer Science, Information Systems and Communication Technologies that are offered to society in Higher Education Institutions; Through criteria in students, teachers, curriculum, graduates and infrastructure, among others. Conaic like others organisms of national acreditation has in comun the evaluation criteria with the goal to comply the standards and parameters previously established by the Council for Accreditation of Higher Education (COPAES) and endorsed by the Secretary in Public Education (SEP). Likewise, there is a range of convergence that allows it to adapt to other international frameworks that share the same vision. This document selects ABET accreditation for being the CONAIC pair in the United States, to present the similarities that exist and determinate the strengths or opportunities that have both processes, for the benefit of the graduate.

The article explores the task of making higher education more profession-oriented. In this context, we consider the technology of structuring and matching professional activities and content of professional education curricula with the help of ontology. This technology employs intelligent analysis of labor market and educational content matching with the aim to organize educational programs and verify professional competences based on their ontological properties. The article also considers development of a professional training cognitive map that can help design the student’s personalized educational trajectory factoring in the given parameters.
