<p>The technology revolution has, in recent years, meant something of a transformation in the way we perceive art and, at the same time, in our way of understanding art exhibition spaces. New works demand updated spaces and different approaches to their care and exhibition. American museums were the first to respond to these changes and begin to put resources behind the necessary objectives. Throughout the 1980s a revolutionary process unfolded which focused on changing attitudes<br />and opening up to a growing and increasingly diverse audience.<br />This process soon spread to the rest of the world and gradually museums and exhibition spaces started to become part of an overall impulse of opening-up and conceptual change that, judging by the outcomes, was precisely what society was waiting and asking for. Rather than change their collections, museums changed their interpretation of them, the way in which they were brought to their publics, their approach to external communications and the role of visitors.<br />New information technologies (particularly the most recent) offer museums the chance to respond to society’s requirements. Hence access to museums takes on a whole new dimension. As well as the traditional uses of the Internet, art online offers two new possibilities: interactivity and the removal of physical barriers. Museums online are open to anybody and everybody, at any time of day, offering easy access and the scope for users to relate directly with a virtual exhibition space. The emergence of the Internet has transcended the barriers of space and time, enabling real-time communication with people from all continents, meaning that messages can be conveyed with limitless reach.<br />The University of Murcia´s Virtual Museum project – UMUSEO – makes an innovative contribution to the possibilities offered by new technologies in the realm of artistic production and its dissemination. This is a research project designed to be a Centre for a range of art-forms operating exclusively online and specialising in exhibitions relating to the artistic heritage of the University of Murcia.<br />In the 1960s and 70s questions started to be asked about the role of museums and their future, giving rise to the idea that museums had become passive exhibition centres. Today they are continually evolving, becoming centres of active experimentation in which public participation takes on a special relevance.</p>

ABSTRACT Many people may not be aware of the extent of Kurt Kyser's collaboration with mineral exploration companies through applied research and the development of innovative exploration technologies, starting at the University of Saskatchewan and continuing through the Queen's Facility for Isotope Research. Applied collaborative, geoscientific, industry-academia research and development programs can yield technological innovations that can improve the mineral exploration discovery rates of economic mineral deposits. Alliances between exploration geoscientists and geoscientific researchers can benefit both parties, contributing to the pure and applied geoscientific knowledge base and the development of innovations in mineral exploration technology. Through a collaboration that spanned over three decades, we gained insight into the potential for economic uranium deposits around the world in Canada, Australia, USA, Finland, Russia, Gabon, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, and Guyana. Kurt, his research team, postdoctoral fellows, and students developed technological innovations related to holistic basin analysis for economic mineral potential, isotopes in mineral exploration, and biogeochemical exploration, among others. In this paper, the business of mineral exploration is briefly described, and some examples of industry-academic collaboration innovations brought forward through Kurt's research are identified. Kurt was a masterful and capable knowledge broker, which is a key criterion for bringing new technologies to application—a grand, curious, credible, patient, and attentive communicator—whether talking about science, business, or life and with first ministers, senior technocrats, peers, board members, first nation peoples, exploration geologists, investors, students, citizens, or friends.

New technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics, machine intelligence, and the Internet of Things are seeing repetitive tasks move away from humans to machines. Humans cannot become machines, but machines can become more human-like. The traditional model of educating workers for the workforce is fast becoming irrelevant. There is a massive need for the retooling of human workers. Humans need to be trained to remain focused in a society which is constantly getting bombarded with information. The two basic elements of physical and mental capacity are slowly being taken over by machines and artificial intelligence. This changes the fundamental role of the global workforce.

New technologies and so-called communication and information technologies are transforming our society, the way in which we relate to each other, and the way we understand the world. By a wider extension, they are also influencing the world of law. That is why technologies will have a huge impact on society in the coming years and will bring new challenges and legal challenges to the legal sector worldwide. On the other hand, the new communications era also brings many new legal issues such as those derived from e-commerce and payment services, intellectual property, or the problems derived from the use of new technologies by young people. This will undoubtedly affect the development, evolution, and understanding of law. This Special Issue has become this window into the new challenges of law in relation to new technologies.

The pace of change occasioned by the affordances of new technologies is accelerating. The last 5 years have seen developments following in the train of Web 2.0 applications that are remarkable even set against the pace of change since the advent of the Internet. Yet it is important to be realistic about the depth of change. While there is a widespread view that the prevailing trope of our contemporary times in the Western democracies is that of neoliberalism, that view also testifies to the enduring grip of long-established realities of political economy. This article assesses what has really changed, and what has not, in four domains: Collaborative and Online Working, Citizen Research & Opening Up Research, Analyzing Online Materials, and Merged Methods.

ABSTRACTSociety has been transforming throughout the last years. The easy access to Internet has made two important institutions, family and school, cope to new challenges. Teenagers in different countries have access to Internet. However, understanding how these changes affect them, their families, their education, their community and the risks they cope help us get to empiric research. The main inquiry is to identify the use and the role parents have around the Internet and technological devices. The research is based in a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods, using a questionnaire and a focus group to collect data.RESUMENLa sociedad ha venido transformándose durante las últimas décadas. El fácil acceso al Internet ha hecho que dos importantes instituciones, la familia y la escuela, se enfrenten a nuevos retos. En distintos países alrededor del mundo, los adolescentes tienen acceso al Internet. Sin embargo, para entender como estos cambios los afecta a ellos, a sus familias, a su educación, a su comunidad y los riesgos que enfrentan, es posible llevar a cabo la investigación empírica. La pregunta central es conocer el uso y el rol que tienen los padres en torno al Internet y a los dispositivos tecnológicos. Como parte de la metodología, la construcción del objeto de estudio se basa en la implementación de un enfoque mixto. Objective: To describe the impact from the obstacles and potentialities that technology has brought to accounting consulting. Question: How can administrative accounting consulting help a company using technologies? Methods: The study is a bibliographic review. A search was conducted with the descriptors: technology; innovation; accounting; accounting on Spell’s data platform (Scientific Periodicals Electronic Library) in June 2021. The search resulted in 10 articles. Results: the results brought as obstacles: The increasing technological advance, adapt to the use of these new technologies, Centrality of the role of the accountant in traditional models, Lack of software knowledge,Lack of specialized workforce, malfunction of the connection, Skilled labor. And as potentialities: Use of different digital technologies, Agility and time gain, Convenience, inseparable relationship between technology and consultative accounting promoting agile and quality support to its various users, Customer satisfaction, Speed and flexibility and Cost reduction. Conclusions: It is understood that Information Technologies positively influence the exercise of consultative accounting, although in addition to the advantages has its disadvantages. It is worth mentioning that the technologies enable the control of accounting information for the entry and exit of materials and inputs, as well as their origin and final destination, avoiding unnecessary losses, including deviations, agility, flexibility and security.

A living discourse needs to be communicated and disseminated. The Internet is a very powerful tool in this respect. Internet has been around for a while now, but how to utilize the Internet as a communication and dissemination tool, is still evolving (Tananbaum, 2007).NAROS is a planned service. The intention of NAROS is to utilize the possibilities of the Internet to improve the awareness and the accessibility of scholarly works on topics related to northern areas, thus hopefully paving the way for expanding the arctic discourses. NAROS will collect information on applicable documents through a standard way of automatically harvesting metadata, and utilize the fast growing trend of making scholarly works available through open archives and open access journals. Through the search service of NAROS, researchers, students, and others will have easy access to scholarly documents within the thematic scope of the northern areas.

This paper is dedicated to the analysis of the phenomenon of virtual narrative and its connection to the phenomenon of Internet of things. Modern virtual narrative is a complex, syncretic phenomenon, alludes to the different cultural, historical and even mythological subjects and objects. But with the development of new technologies, such as the Internet of Things, virtual narrative became to be some kind of independent phenomenon. Moreover, the Internet of things (which is not clerly identified phenomen itself from the philosophic point of view) uses the virtual narrative as one of the components, for example applaying some methond of virtual narrative in creating advertisments, creating messages in musiams, exposititions etc. So, in our paper we will analyze this both phenomena, their connections and the way of its development.

The article is devoted to the study of cyber security problems in the Smart Cities system. The development of the IT industry has led to the introduction of new technologies into our lives. One of these technologies is the Internet of Things technology. The application of IoT technology has increased in recent years. One of the most important areas in which Internet of Things technology is applied is the Smart Cities system. The main difference between smart cities and other cities is that their components are connected to each other via the Internet. All these smart devices create a smart city system in general. One of the biggest and most important problems in many areas where the Internet is used is security. The article looks at possible security problems in the system of smart cities and solutions to ensure cyber security.
