ABSTRACT The calcaneal fractures are usually the result of high-energy injuries, falls from height and road traffic accidents and constitutes about 2% of all fractures. 60 to 75% of them are displaced intra-articular fractures and 90% of them are usually in males, mainly in industrial workers.there is still controversy regarding classification and treatment.
