Social perception as entrance for systemwide organizational change: Change through a social constructionist' strategy Social perception as entrance for systemwide organizational change: Change through a social constructionist' strategy A.T.M. van Nistelrooij, Gedrag & Organisatie, volume 17, august 2004, nr. 4, p. 242-521 By developing a strategy that links up with normative-re-educative assumptions of the Organization Development approach this article tries to extend the understanding of producing intentional change from a social-constructionist' perspective. This strategy is based on unfolding a dialogue with the whole system. A social-constructionist' approach respects the unique reality of each stakeholder, pays attention to the context, emphasises the symmetric and mutual nature of dialogue in which meanings are (re-)produced. The article points out that one of the most basic mechanism of realizing change is to discover in a conversational process that the interpretation that someone else puts on a concept is different from one's own. Regarding the planned change nature of OD there are some implications for the way a dialogue should be organized, the role of management and the selection of a suiting intervention method.

The study was conducted at three villages under Birganj upazilla of Dinajpur district to select suitable mungbean genotype to fit in the rice-wheat-fallow cropping system. Nine advanced mungbean genotypes and a check variety were tested in the farmers' fields through mother and baby trials managed by the farmers themselves. The mother trials were laid down in a radomized completely block design with three replications. Based on farmers' judgment regarding field performances and post-harvest evaluation on growth, field duration, seed yield, taste, cooking and milling quality, VC3960-88 appeared as the most preferred genotype. Farmers also preferred VC6153B-20P next to the above genotype. The baby trials conducted in thirty farmers' field reaffirmed that VC3960-88 was also the most preferred genotype. The performance of genotypes in baby trials and subsequent preference of the farmers signified the role of mother-baby trial approach towards selecting mungbean genotype by themselves. Key words: Variety, mungbean, selection, cropping system, PR & D approach. DOI: 10.3329/jard.v7i1.4419 J Agric Rural Dev 7(1&2), 33-40, June 2009

The article considers the role of transport and refrigerated warehouse complexes in continuous refrigerating supply chains (CRSCs). A summary diagram of technical and technological support is formed, describing the relationship and mutual influence of the elements of the CRSC system. A structural and parametric description of a refrigerated container terminal is carried out. The classification of the parameters of a refrigerated container terminal according to various characteristics is developed. The relationships between the parameters of a refrigerated container terminal are presented in the form of mathematical models. The dependence of the capacity of a refrigerated container terminal with respect to the length of a site is obtained.

Organizations are crucial elements in innovation systems. Yet, their role is so ubiquitous that it is difficult to grasp and to examine all kinds of organization that are present in an innovation system. The purpose of this chapter is to define the conceptual basis of innovation policy in relation to the role of organizations, looking in particular at the roles of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship as examples of organizational change. In so doing, this chapter aims at making three contributions. Firstly, it defines the roles of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship in the innovation system, a crucial topic in understanding innovation dynamics and its blurring boundaries. Secondly, it identifies some common entrepreneurship- and intrapreneurship-related obstacles and barriers in the innovation system, and examines the policy instruments to solve or mitigate them. Thirdly, it discusses the limits of public policy and suggests key issues in the design of innovation policy.

AbstractImmunosuppression permits graft survival after transplantation and consequently a longer and better life. On the other hand, it increases the risk of infection, for instance with cytomegalovirus (CMV). However, the various available immunosuppressive therapies differ in this regard. One of the first clinical trials using de novo everolimus after kidney transplantation [1] already revealed a considerably lower incidence of CMV infection in the everolimus arms than in the mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) arm. This result was repeatedly confirmed in later studies [2–4]. Everolimus is now considered a substance with antiviral properties. This article is based on the expert meeting “Posttransplant CMV infection and the role of immunosuppression”. The expert panel called for a paradigm shift: In a CMV prevention strategy the targeted selection of the immunosuppressive therapy is also a key element. For patients with elevated risk of CMV, mTOR inhibitor-based immunosuppression is advantageous as it is associated with a significantly lower incidence of CMV events.

In the current scenario of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), power consumption is the major issue associated with nodes in WSN. LEACH technique plays a vital role of clustering in WSN and reduces the energy usage effectively. But LEACH has its own limitation in order to search cluster head nodes which are randomly distributed over the network. In this paper, ERA-NFL- BA algorithm is being proposed for selects the cluster heads in WSN. This algorithm help in selection of cluster heads can freely transform from global search to local search. At the end, a comparison has been done with earlier researcher using protocol ERA-NFL, which clearly shown that proposed Algorithm is best suited and from comparison results that ERA-NFL-BA has given better performance.

The article looks at book production and circulation from the point of view of translators, who, as purchasers and readers of foreign-language books, are an important mediating force in the selection of literature for translation. Taking the German publisher Tauchnitz's series ‘Collection of British Authors’ and its circulation in Finland in the nineteenth and early twentieth century as a case in point, the article argues that the increased availability of English-language books facilitated the acquiring and honing of translators' language skills and gradually diminished the need for indirect translating. Book history and translation studies meet here in an examination of the role of the Collection in Finnish translators' work.
