Abstract This study aims to analyze the factors behind the establishment of sister city cooperation between the Denpasar City Government and the Mossel Bay Government since the end of 2019. The author conducted qualitative research to achieve this aim. Thus, this research is expected to enrich other research tools in matters relating to sister city cooperation or paradiplomacy in Indonesia, especially Denpasar. The main data analyzed in this study were obtained through semi-structured interviews with the Head of the Sub-Section for Foreign Cooperation of the Denpasar City in 2020 at the Secretariat of Denpasar. In addition, other types of data that support this research were obtained from the official local government website, several books, journals, reports, and online news sites which reliable and suitable for the content of the research. The focus of this research is to comply with the concept of paradiplomacy and south-south cooperation in identifying the motives behind this sister city cooperation, especially from the side of the Denpasar City Government. As a result, five motives were found that could encourage the Denpasar City Government to accept the sister city cooperation offered by the Mossel Bay Government in 2019, including the international market, tourism and culture, establishing the identity of international partners, the status of government administration, and most importantly, the bilateral relationship between the Indonesian government and the South African government, which in this regards, is an example of the implementation of the South-South Cooperation (SSC) concept.

The most important affecting factors to World economy include knowledge, proficiency and inventiveness of people. Education is allied with improved skills, and better human capacity to progress the quality of life. The development of country depends on the status of higher education in country. Every year, MHRD, India collects details about Higher Education from universities using AISHE Portal to plan National Policy on Education but in the existing AISHE system, user interface is not provided to the users; they are downloading PDF file from Portal and then after entering necessary details in PDF file offline they upload PDF file on portal. Here we have implemented Semantic Web Enabled System on Apache Jena Fuseki Server using Virtual Private Server (VPS). Researchers provide knowledge based AISHE user friendly system with GUI interface & implemented CRUD operation on VPS. Proposed AISHE system provides benefits of SW such as machine understandability, reusability, interoperability, inference of new knowledge, reduces development time etc; as Ontology is used for development.

Big swings in international iron ore market have been paid widespread attention in recent years. To study its fluctuation characteristics, the seasonality of China's imported iron ore throughput (IIOT) are investigated. First, the status quo of China's IIOT in coastal ports is analyzed. The affecting factors of IIOT are discussed. Secondly, statistical data of China's IIOT is seasonally adjusted by the X-12-ARIMA method. The empirical results indicate that there exists obvious seasonality for China's IIOT. Averagely, the imported volumes are higher in March and April, but lower in August and October. Finally, some affecting factors of IIOT seasonality are discussed.

Abstract Objective: To determine the status of nutritional literacy and its affecting factors among the adolescents who are in the 9th grade in Çivril, in Denizli province, in Turkey. Design: This is a cross-sectional study that determines the sociodemographic characteristics, nutritional habits, nutritional behavior, nutritional literacy status of adolescents, and affecting factors. Setting: Denizli, Turkey. Participants: We included 523 adolescents in ninth grade in this study. Results: Half (49.7%) of the participants were female; 47%, in normal body mass index; and 68.1%, non-smokers. The mean (±SD) Adolescent Nutrition Literacy Scale score was 67.6±7.9. Nutrition literacy status was related to mothers’ education level (p: 0.021); health perceptions (p: 0.008); positive body perception (p: 0.032); unhealthy food consumption status (p:0.017); information barriers [undecided about effort for information gathering (p: 0.026), undecided about the difficulty of understanding information (p: 0.042), and thinking it’s difficult to understand (p:0.003)], trust in nutrition, diet information sources [nutrition and diet expert, dietitian trusting (according to others) (p: 0.001), nutrition and diet expert, dietitian neutral to trust (compared to others) (p: 0.011) and trust in textbooks (p: 0.023)]. Conclusions: The level of nutrition literacy status of participants was moderate. It is important to carry out interventions to increase the education level of women, positive body perceptions, and general health perceptions of adolescents and to remove information barriers related to nutrition.

This study provides insight into the prevalence and correlates of anxiety among university students in Bursa, Turkey. A total of 4850 students participated in the study. Students completed Spielberger’s State—Trait Anxiety Inventory, as well as a questionnaire designed to determine risk factors of anxiety. About 29.6% and 36.7% of the students in the study reported state and trait anxiety scores of more than 45 points, respectively. Controlling for gender and family socioeconomic status, the following characteristics predict both state and trait anxiety: the status of family relationships, difficulty understanding lectures, difficulty adapting to university life, having to solve problems independently, a vision of self-sufficiency in problem solving, negative life experience, and satisfaction with their department of study. The following factors are predictive of only state anxiety: boarding conditions, having a chronic disease, and exam periods. The risk factors for trait anxiety scores include the following: anxiety about the future, preparation for work life, class of study, private relationships, and attitude of the family toward their child. Families, secondary education institutions, and universities should cooperate to eliminate risk factors for anxiety among university students.

One measure of the maturity of a device technology is the ease and reliability of applying contact metallurgy. Compared to metal contact of silicon, the status of GaAs metallization is still at its primitive stage. With the advent of GaAs MESFET and integrated circuits, very stringent requirements were placed on their metal contacts. During the past few years, extensive researches have been conducted in the area of Au-Ge-Ni in order to lower contact resistances and improve uniformity. In this paper, we report the results of TEM study of interfacial reactions between Ni and GaAs as part of the attempt to understand the role of nickel in Au-Ge-Ni contact of GaAs.N-type, Si-doped, (001) oriented GaAs wafers, 15 mil in thickness, were grown by gradient-freeze method. Nickel thin films, 300Å in thickness, were e-gun deposited on GaAs wafers. The samples were then annealed in dry N2 in a 3-zone diffusion furnace at temperatures 200°C - 600°C for 5-180 minutes. Thin foils for TEM examinations were prepared by chemical polishing from the GaA.s side. TEM investigations were performed with JE0L- 100B and JE0L-200CX electron microscopes.

Measurement of the egg's electrical activity, the fertilization potential or the activation current (in voltage clamped eggs), provides a means of detecting the earliest perceivable response of the egg to the fertilizing sperm. By using the electrical physiological record as a “real time” indicator of the instant of electrical continuity between the gametes, eggs can be inseminated with sperm at lower, more physiological densities, thereby assuring that only one sperm interacts with the egg. Integrating techniques of intracellular electrophysiological recording, video-imaging, and electron microscopy, we are able to identify the fertilizing sperm precisely and correlate the status of gamete organelles with the first indication (fertilization potential/activation current) of the egg's response to the attached sperm. Hence, this integrated system provides improved temporal and spatial resolution of morphological changes at the site of gamete interaction, under a variety of experimental conditions. Using these integrated techniques, we have investigated when sperm-egg plasma membrane fusion occurs in sea urchins with respect to the onset of the egg's change in electrical activity.
