The present study describes an integrated system for traffic data collection and alert warning. Geographical information based decision making related to traffic destinations and routes is proposed through the design. The system includes a geospatial database having profile relating to a user of a mobile device. The processing and understanding of scanned maps, other digital data input leads to route guidance. The system includes a server configured to receive traffic information relating to a route and location information relating to the mobile device. Server is configured to send a traffic alert to the mobile device when the traffic information and the location information indicate that the mobile device is traveling toward traffic congestion. Proposed system has geospatial and mobile data sets pertaining to Bangalore city in India. It is envisaged to be helpful for touristic purposes as a route guidance and alert relaying information system to tourists for proximity to sites worth seeing in a city they have entered into. The system is modular in architecture and the novelty lies in integration of different modules carrying different technologies for a complete traffic information system. Generic information processing and delivery system has been tested to be functional and speedy under test geospatial domains. In a restricted prototype model with geo-referenced route data required information has been delivered correctly over sustained trials to designated cell numbers, with average time frame of 27.5 seconds, maximum 50 and minimum 5 seconds. Traffic geo-data set trials testing is underway.

The foundation ofdelaunay triangulationandconstrained delaunay triangulationis the basis of three dimensional geographical information system which is one of hot issues of the contemporary era; moreover it is widely applied in finite element methods, terrain modeling and object reconstruction, euclidean minimum spanning tree and other applications. An algorithm for generatingconstrained delaunay triangulationin two dimensional planes is presented. The algorithm permits constrained edges and polygons (possibly with holes) to be specified in the triangulations, and describes some data structures related to constrained edges and polygons. In order to maintain the delaunay criterion largely, some new incremental points are added onto the constrained ones. After the data set is preprocessed, the foundation ofconstrained delaunay triangulationis showed as follows: firstly, the constrained edges and polygons generate initial triangulations, then the remained points completes the triangulation . Some pseudo-codes involved in the algorithm are provided. Finally, some conclusions and further studies are given.

Tangguh Disaster Village is a village that has a self-reliant ability to adapt and face disaster threats and recover immediately from adverse catastrophic impacts. The problem in designing this system is that there is no geographical information system based on Android in the process of searching the data location of Tangguh disaster Village (DESTANA) in Gorontalo district. This research aims to design an Android-based geographic information system that can be used to locate the Tangguh Disaster village (DESTANA) data location in Gorontalo District to help local people and migrants with Use Android mobile devices that provide information about the Tangguh disaster Village (DESTANA) data location and know the location of an area presented with digital map facilities.  The results of the study concluded that the test results to search for the location information of disaster Tangguh Village (DESTANA) and display the appropriate and valid view so that the application can be used effectively and efficiently.

In the past few decades, the whole world has been badly affected by terrorism and other law-and-order situations. The newspapers have been covering terrorism and other law-and-order issues with relevant details. However, to the best of our knowledge, there is no existing information system that is capable of accumulating and analyzing these events to help in devising strategies to avoid and minimize such incidents in future. This research aims to provide a generic architectural framework to semi-automatically accumulate law-and-order-related news through different news portals and classify them using machine learning approaches. The proposed architectural framework discusses all the important components that include data ingestion, preprocessor, reporting and visualization, and pattern recognition. The information extractor and news classifier have been implemented, whereby the classification sub-component employs widely used text classifiers for a news data set comprising almost 5000 news manually compiled for this purpose. The results reveal that both support vector machine and multinomial Naïve Bayes classifiers exhibit almost 90% accuracy. Finally, a generic method for calculating security profile of a city or a region has been developed, which is augmented by visualization and reporting components that maps this information onto maps using geographical information system.

Abstract Congestion is one of the severe problems that occurs in big cities like Jakarta, the center of the Indonesian government. One alternative solution to solve this problem is with a Traffic Information System which is easily accessible by the public. Twitter as a social media can be used as one of information source to develop the Traffic Information System. The most common problem in the processing of information on Twitter, especially in Indonesia, is the use of abbreviations and typographical error (typo). We propose an application of Web Place Name Dictionary in addressing abbreviations and typos in the name of the location contained on Twitter to develop a Traffic Information System. Three cases in find coordinate point in the street that derived from location name in Twitter can be handled through the proposed system. This system produces 90% accuration rate on 100 data set that obtained via @TMCPoldaMetro. This study only focus on the implementation of Web Place Name Dictionary method so we do not compare our system with the other methods.

Gorontalo handicraft industry is already widespread in the territory of Indonesia, and even then more introduced by the people of Gorontalo in overseas. In early 2006, Gorontalo's unique handicraft products received attention from both central and provincial governments to fight for patents on products (Hinelo, 2008). It shows that the creative industry business run by the Gorntalo Society has been well developed. The researcher intends to design a mobile geographic information system based on android for mapping the location of craftsmen typical of Gorontalo handicraft. This system is the application of GIS mobile system that is integration between three technology, that is GIS software, Global Positioning System (GPS) technology, and mobile device. This mobile-based designed system is intended to make this system easier to use by the Community because the system can be accessed simply by using a mobile device. While android is a mobile phone operating system that grows in the middle of other operating systems that develop this dewasi. This system will provide location information dilegkapi with travel routes as well as a description of the handicraft industry selected by the user / community. This system will provide location information dilegkapi with travel routes as well as a description of the handicraft industry selected by the user / community. With this system will be able to provide convenience to anyone who wants to find the location / location of handicraft industry typical Karawo patterned clothing Gorontalo. This system can run well based on testing on system logic using whitebox method obtained value of Ciclometic Complexity (CC) = 3. Keywords: Geographic Information System, Android, Karawo
