Gorontalo handicraft industry is already widespread in the territory of Indonesia, and even then more introduced by the people of Gorontalo in overseas. In early 2006, Gorontalo's unique handicraft products received attention from both central and provincial governments to fight for patents on products (Hinelo, 2008). It shows that the creative industry business run by the Gorntalo Society has been well developed. The researcher intends to design a mobile geographic information system based on android for mapping the location of craftsmen typical of Gorontalo handicraft. This system is the application of GIS mobile system that is integration between three technology, that is GIS software, Global Positioning System (GPS) technology, and mobile device. This mobile-based designed system is intended to make this system easier to use by the Community because the system can be accessed simply by using a mobile device. While android is a mobile phone operating system that grows in the middle of other operating systems that develop this dewasi. This system will provide location information dilegkapi with travel routes as well as a description of the handicraft industry selected by the user / community. With this system will be able to provide convenience to anyone who wants to find the location / location of handicraft industry typical Karawo patterned clothing Gorontalo. Abstrak- Perancangan aplikasi sistem informasi geografis untuk pemetaan dan pencarian Kandang Peternakan Di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman berbasis android bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi lokasi Kandang Peternakan kepada masyarakat yang ada di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman maupun masyarakat luar Kabupaten Padang Pariaman tersebut, serta memberikan informasi-informasi mengenai detail Kandang Peternakan. Sehingga diharapkan dapat di akses kapanpun dan dimana pun.Pembuatan Sistem Informasi Geografis berbasis android ini dibuat menggunakan MapInfo Professional 9.0 sebagai dasar pembuatan peta aplikasi, Eclipse sebagai dasar Aplikasi di android , dan Giscloud sebagai server penyimpanan peta secara online.Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat dipergunakan untuk mendapatkan informasi Kandang Peternakan Di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang disajikan dalam bentuk sebuah aplikasi peta Dan Informasi tentang Kandang Peternakan. Aplikasi ini dapat digunakan secara online maupun offline. Pedan City is a sub-district city located in the Klaten Regency area and has always been a culinary tourism object for tourists or residents in the Pedan area and its surroundings. The main problem that arises is when there are more and more culinary attractions in the city of Pedan sub-district, but there is less detailed information about these culinary attractions. The main objevtive of this work is to provide location information tourism in the Pedan area easily and simply because it can be operated anywhere the user is using an android-based mobile device. The method used in this research is the Waterfall method. The results of the study are expected to increase culinary tourism in the city of Klaten district, especially Pedan sub-district, as well as interest for tourists or residents in the city of Pedan sub-district to be interested in visiting culinary tourism objects in the Pedan city area

Precision agriculture is already being used commercially to improve variability management in row crop agriculture. In the same way, understanding how spatial and temporal variability of animal, forage, soil and landscape features affect grazing behavior and forage utilization provides potential to modify pasture management, improve efficiency of utilization, and maximize profits. Recent advances in global positioning system (GPS) technology have allowed the development of lightweight GPS collar receivers suitable for monitoring animal position at 5-min intervals. The GPS data can be imported into a geographic information system (GIS) to assess animal behavior characteristics and pasture utilization. This paper describes application and use of GPS technology on intensively managed beef cattle, and implications for livestock behavior and management research on pasture. QGIS is a free and open-source software that allows viewing, editing, and analyzing georeferenced data. It is a Geographic Information System (GIS) software composed by tools that allow to manipulate geographic information and consequently to create maps which help to get a better understanding and organization of geospatial data. Unfortunately, maps created directly in the GIS desktop software are not automatically transferred to a website. This research aimed to compare publishing capabilities in different QGIS plugins to create Web Maps. This study analyzes four QGIS plugins (QGIS2Web, QGIS Cloud, GIS Cloud Publisher and Mappia Publisher), performing a comparison between them, considering their advantages and disadvantages, the free and subscription plans, the tools offered by each plugin and other generic aspects. The four plugins were tested in a specific case study to automatically obtain different Web Maps. This study could help users to choose the most adequate tools to publish Web Maps under QGIS software.

Tangguh Disaster Village is a village that has a self-reliant ability to adapt and face disaster threats and recover immediately from adverse catastrophic impacts. The problem in designing this system is that there is no geographical information system based on Android in the process of searching the data location of Tangguh disaster Village (DESTANA) in Gorontalo district. This research aims to design an Android-based geographic information system that can be used to locate the Tangguh Disaster village (DESTANA) data location in Gorontalo District to help local people and migrants with Use Android mobile devices that provide information about the Tangguh disaster Village (DESTANA) data location and know the location of an area presented with digital map facilities.  The results of the study concluded that the test results to search for the location information of disaster Tangguh Village (DESTANA) and display the appropriate and valid view so that the application can be used effectively and efficiently.

Τα δρυοδάση στη χώρα μας αποτελούν τα βασικότερα και από τα πιο δυναμικά φυσικά οικοσυστήματα. Επιτελούν αλληλένδετες λειτουργίες όπως κοινωνικές (αναψυχή, περιβαλλοντική εκπαίδευση), οικονομικές (πρωτογενής παραγωγή, δημιουργία εισοδήματος) και περιβαλλοντικές (προστασία εδάφους, νερού και ατμόσφαιρας, κύκλος νερού, ενδιαιτήματα, βιοποικιλότητα, ρυθμιστικός ρόλος στο κλίμα με θετική συμβολή στην επερχόμενη κλιματική αλλαγή), καθιστώντας περίπλοκη και συνδυαστική τη διαχείρισή τους. Τα δρυοδάσος Φολόης έχει επιπλέον εξαιρετικούς μυθολογικούς και πολύ αξιόλογους ιστορικούς και αρχαιολογικούς λόγους και με την παρούσα διδακτορική διατριβή φιλοδοξούμε να συμβάλλουμε στην ορθολογική και πολυλειτουργική του διαχείριση σύμφωνα με την αρχή της αειφόρου ανάπτυξης και στη δημιουργία συσταδικών μοντέλων που να ανταποκρίνονται με τον πληρέστερο τρόπο στην εκάστοτε παραπάνω αναφερόμενη λειτουργία. Η εφαρμογή των σύγχρονων μεθόδων χωρικής ανάλυσης (Geographic Information System – G.I.S.) και των συσκευών δορυφορικού εντοπισμού (Global Positioning System – G.P.S.) παρέχουν σήμερα το κατάλληλο πλαίσιο της χωρικής κατανομής και της ακριβούς οριοθέτησής τους σε σύστημα καρτεσιανών συντεταγμένων, ώστε να ορίζεται με ακρίβεια η κάθε λειτουργία, με τις υπόλοιπες να εισέρχονται συμπληρωματικά καθώς βρίσκονται σε συνεχή αλληλεπίδραση και αλληλεξάρτηση μεταξύ τους. Η υπάρχουσα κατάσταση δεν ανταποκρίνεται στις σύγχρονες απαιτήσεις μιας πολυλειτουργικής θεώρησης καθότι μέχρι σήμερα η διαχείρισή του στηριζόταν σε οικονομικά κριτήρια με στόχο την απόληψη βιομάζας και μάλιστα η κατά τόπους έντονη υπερκάρπωση και έλλειψη καλλιεργητικών επεμβάσεων δημιούργησε στην πλειοψηφία ομήλικες συστάδες που αδυνατούν να ανταποκριθούν σε λειτουργίες εκτός της παραγωγής ξυλείας.Με τη χρήση των προαναφερθέντων, εκτιμήθηκε η παραγωγικότητα ολόκληρου του δρυοδάσους με στόχο τον προσδιορισμό της ικανότητάς του να απορροφήσει τις επερχόμενες διαταραχές και να ανταποκριθεί αρτιότερα στην εκπλήρωση των λειτουργιών με αειφορικό τρόπο. Επιπλέον η υπάρχουσα βιβλιογραφία, η γνώση και η εμπειρία που έχει αποκτηθεί καθιστούν την υπάρχουσα κατάσταση απολύτως αντιστρεπτή μέσω των κατάλληλων δασοκομικών επεμβάσεων, της αριστοποίησης των δασοκομικών χειρισμών και της διαμόρφωσης της κατάλληλης κατά περίπτωση δομής. Η δημιουργία μεικτών συστάδων κηπευτής και υποκηπευτής δομής μπορεί να επιτευχθεί με μια σειρά χρονικά κατανεμημένων δασοκομικών επεμβάσεων ώστε οι διάφορες δασικές λειτουργίες να συνδυαστούν ακόμα και αν έρχονται σε αντίθεση μεταξύ τους, εξυπηρετώντας κοινωνικές ανάγκες και δημιουργώντας σταθερότερα δασικά οικοσυστήματα έναντι εξωτερικών παραγόντων και επιδράσεων.

Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a vulnerabilidade socioambiental enfrentada pelas parcelas de baixa renda da população dos Bairros de Vitória-ES e demonstrar a relevância dos Sistemas de Informações Geográficas (SIG) como ferramenta de mensuração e representação destas situações. Para isso, será demonstrada a viabilidade da adoção de geotecnologias livres para a abordagem deste tema, por meio da análise de variáveis socioeconômicas, infraestruturais e do meio físico. O estudo fundamenta-se em dados produzidos pelo IBGE, pela Prefeitura Municipal de Vitória e pela Secretaria de Segurança Pública do Espírito Santo, relativos ao período de 2010 a 2015. A análise e redução de variáveis são feitas por meio de critérios objetivos utilizando a Análise de Componentes Principais (ACP). As variáveis analisadas mostraram alta correlação e os resultados foram utilizados para a construção do Índice de Vulnerabilidade Socioambiental. A partir dos valores do índice, os bairros foram espacializados por meio de um software livre de SIG, o que permitiu formar agrupamentos de unidades de análise que apresentam semelhanças quanto à vulnerabilidade socioambiental, sendo possível identificar uma notável disparidade entre os bairros de Vitória.Palavras-chave: Vulnerabilidade Socioambiental; Sistema de Informação Geográfica; Geotecnologias Livres.AbstractThis paper aims to analyze the Socio-Environmental Vulnerability faced by the low income portion of the population from Vitoria – ES and show the importance of the Geographic Information System (GIS) as a tool of measurement and representation of these situations. Thus, the feasibility of adopting free geotechnologies will be demonstrated in order to approach this theme by means of analyzing the socioeconomic, infrastructural as well as physical environment variables. The study is based on data produced by IBGE, City Hall of Vitoria and by Secretary of Public Security of Espirito Santo, related to the period from 2010 to 2015. The analysis and reduction of variables are made by means of objective criteria utilizing the Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The variables analyzed showed high correlation and the results were utilized for the construction of Socio-Environmental Vulnerability Index. From the values of the index, the neighborhoods were spatialized through a free GIS software which allowed forming groups of neighborhoods that present similarities regarding the Socio-Environmental Vulnerability. It was possible to identify a notable disparity among the neighborhoods of Vitoria.Keywords: Socio-environmental Vulnerability; Geographic Information System (GIS); Free Geotechnologies.

Seiring meningkatnya mobilitas masyarakat dan tingginya kebutuhan informasi berupa peta, Geographic Information System (GIS) bukan hanya sekadar tren teknologi, tetapi telah menjadi sebuah kebutuhan. Ketatnya persaingan para vendor perangkat bergerak (mobile device) dengan berbagai fitur dan keunggulan, secara tidak langsung berdampak positif bagi konsumen teknologi  mobile salah satunya operating system (OS) Android. Dengan adanya operating system (OS) Android yang memberikan banyak keuntungan salah satunya adalah OS Android yang bersifat open source, para pengembang aplikasi Android dapat membuat sebuah aplikasi sesuai kebutuhan termasuk pembuatan aplikasi Peta ATM. Disamping itu pada handphone Android juga telah tersedia GPS sebagai penetuan posisi pengguna. Peta ATM dengan menggunakan aplikasi GPS merupakan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat digunakan oleh banyak kalangan. Banyak manfaat yang dapat dirasakan dengan menggunakan aplikasi ini, diantaranya adalah dengan mengetahui sebuah lokasi dimana posisi user berada. Begitu juga dengan aplikasi peta Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi para pengguna handphone berbasis operating system Android untuk mengetahui dimana letak posisi ATM BNI yang berada di wilayah Purwokerto dan sekitarnya. Dengan adanya aplikasi peta ATM BNI diharapkan para pengguna yang belum mengetahui secara lengkap kota Purwokerto dapat dengan mudah dalam mencari lokasi ATM.
