Nail polishes are one of the most widely used cosmetics in the world and have complex chemical composition. In this study, labels were evaluated and physicochemical and microbiological analysis were performed in order to evaluate the quality of the marketed nail polishes. The identification of volatile chemical compounds and toluene quantification were determined by GC-MS. The results showed that 62% of the nail polishes did not present one or more regulated items for labeling. Density analysis presented values close to those recommended. The free formaldehyde test indicated the possible presence of this compound in concentrations above 0.01% in 93% of the samples. Microbiological analysis evidenced microbial growth and the presence of the pathogens Staphylococcus aureus and/or Escherichia coli. The CG-MS analysis allowed the identification of 29 volatile compounds, such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, toluene, N-ethyl-2-methylbenzenesulfonamide, dibutyl phthalate and acetyl tributyl citrate. The results showed the need of a better quality control of the nail polishes available to the consumer, since the lack of information on the labels and the presence of pathogens and harmful substances to health may compromise their use.

Objetivou-se estudar a qualidade da carcaça bovina comercializada no município de Assunção na região do Cariri paraibano, onde se verificou os fatores que influenciam a qualidade da carne, desde as condições antes, durante e depois do abate, bem como a comercialização, e a higiene-sanitária, através dos procedimentos metodológicos: entrevistas com os comerciantes, visitas aos abatedouros e pontos comerciais, além de análise microbiológica das carnes, fazendo a comparação da carne comercializada na feira livre e no açougue. Os resultados obtidos apontaram que vários motivos levam os consumidores a adquirir a carne nesses pontos comerciais, como forma de pagamento, preço, conhecimento da origem e abate do animal, qualidade, falta de opção, entre outros, havendo destaque para o preço na feira livre (29%) e a forma de pagamento no açougue (27%). Na entrevista com os consumidores, a carne foi classificada como boa, regular e ruim; sendo que 60% dos consumidores (açougue) e 42% (feira livre) consideraram a qualidade da carne como boa; 40% (açougue) e 42% (feira livre), a consideraram regular, e 17% (feira livre) classificou a mesma como ruim. A análise microbiológica efetuada comprovou que todas as amostras coletadas encontraram altos índices de contaminação, estando muito acima do limite permitido pela legislação vigente no país para os parâmetros pesquisados, especialmente na feira livre, onde foram evidenciados os maiores índices de contaminação, principalmente pela presença de Salmonella spp. Comprovando que se faz necessário um maior controle de qualidade da carne comercializada em ambos os estabelecimentos.Quality of bovine carcass marketed in the municipality of Assunção, ParaíbaAbstract: This work aimed to study the bovine carcass quality marketed in the city of Assunção in the region of Cariri Paraíba, where it was found the factors that influence the quality of meat from the conditions before, during and after slaughter and marketing, and hygiene, through methodological procedure: interviews with traders, visits to abattoirs and trade points, and microbiological analysis of meat, making the comparison of the meat sold in the open market and butcher. The results showed that various reasons lead consumers to purchase the meat in these outlets as a means of payment, price, knowledge of the origin and slaughter of the animal, quality, lack of choice, among others, with emphasis on the price on the open market (29%) and the form of payment in the meat (27%). In the interview with the consumer, the meat was classified as good, fair and poor; and 60% of consumers (butchers) and 42% (open market) considered the quality of the meat as good; 40% (butcher) and 42% (flea market), the considered regular, and 17% (open market) ranked the same as bad. Microbiological analysis performed, proved that all the collected samples found high levels of contamination, is well above the limit allowed by law in the country for the studied parameters, especially in the free market, where the highest infection rates were evidenced mainly by the presence Salmonella spp. Proving that it is necessary a greater quality control of meat sold in both establishments.

Abstract As there is a great scarcity of studies on the importance of good compounding practices in the preparation of cosmetics, this study aimed to evaluate the quality control of cosmetics with active ingredient caffeine for the treatment of cellulite prepared by magistrals pharmacies. Microbiological analyzes, pH determination, color measurement, quantification of the percentage of the active ingredient caffeine and viscosity in creams and gels with 5% of the active ingredient caffeine were performed. In the microbiological analysis, the presence of molds and yeasts was verified above the permitted level according to the Brazilian pharmacopoeia. The pH decreased over time, contributing to the formulations becoming more acidic. In the color parameters, it was found that pharmacy F4 showed a brownish color, both for the gel and for the cream. The percentage of caffeine was within specifications in all formulations and the viscosity remained unchanged during the shelf life of the samples. It is important that the compounding pharmacies demand more effectively the commitment of the team, as well as the analysis of the raw material according to the microbiological control regulations to translate into the quality of the products prepared by the pharmacies and favor the consumer in the effective objective that the product you want to achieve.

The compaction quality of the subgrade is directly related to the service life of the road. Effective control of the subgrade construction process is the key to ensuring the compaction quality of the subgrade. Therefore, real-time, comprehensive, rapid and accurate prediction of construction compaction quality through informatization detection method is an important guarantee for speeding up construction progress and ensuring subgrade compaction quality. Based on the function of the system, this paper puts forward the principle of system development and the development mode used in system development, and displays the development system in real-time to achieve the whole process control of subgrade construction quality.


In construction production, the safety of constructing buildings and structures is achieved by ensuring the required quality as a result of systematic construction control based on the implementation of a complex of technical, economic and organizational measures at all stages of the object's life cycle. The article deals with the actual problem of improving the quality of construction products-buildings and structures in conjunction with the activities of construction control bodies. The article presents the advanced foreign and domestic experience of ensuring the quality control at the construction sites, providing for the prevention of the underlying causes of defects and increasing the interest of the contractors directly. On the basis of the analysis of the current situation with quality control at the construction market, ways to improve its efficiency by developing a unified system of technological implementation of relevant requirements for the quality of construction products, determining the rational number and business load of construction control engineers, as well as the active activities of self-regulatory organizations in this area are offered.

Peach is a species slightly adapted to our climatic conditions, suffers from winter frost, but can provide productive and long productions of 10-15 years.

We developed and implemented an annual online survey to administer to residents exiting residency training in order to (1) assess the quality of the residency experience and (2) identify areas of strength and areas requiring improvement. Long-term goals include program planning, policy-making and maintenance of quality control. Survey content was developed from an environmental scan, pre-existing survey instruments, examination of training criteria established by the CFPC and the CanMEDS criteria established by the RCPSC. The survey included evaluation benchmarks and satisfaction ratings of program director and faculty, preparation for certification and practice, quality of life, quality of education, and work environment. The response rate was 28%. Seventy-five percent of respondents were exiting from Royal College training programs. Results of descriptive statistics determined that the overall educational experience was rated highly, with 98.9% of respondents satisfied or very satisfied with their overall patient care experience. Ninety-six percent of respondents were satisfied or very satisfied with the overall quality of teaching. Preparation for practice was identified as needing improvement, with 26% and 34% of respondents giving an unsatisfactory rating to career guidance and assistance with finding employment, respectively. Although 80% of respondents reported receiving ongoing feedback and 84% discussed their evaluations with their supervisors, only 38% of evaluations were completed by the end of the rotation. The results indicate that residents are generally satisfied with their experiences during residency training, especially with their overall educational experience. Areas of improvement include preparation for practice and timeliness of evaluations. Further iterations of this survey are needed to refine the instrument, identify data trends and maintain quality control in residency training programs. Frank JR (ed.). The article conducts the analysis of system errors detected by Roszdravnadzor by conducting state quality control of circulating medicines, as well as weaknesses in pharmaceutical quality management systems of the manufacturers, that can influence the quality of manufactured drugs.
