This journal aims to find the impact of tablet use on students’ mastery of grammar skills. In order to answer the research questions, the authors held the pre-test and post-test for two groups labelled as the experimental group and control group. The experimental group is the groups that using tablet, while the control group is the group that using textbooks in learning grammar. The results of this study show that there is no significant difference between the grammar achievement scores of the students in both groups. The findings also show that the instructor emphasized the influence of tablet use on learner autonomy, digital distraction, and network connection. Students indicated that tablets can be supplementary yet it shouldn’t replace the basic course materials such as textbooks and workbooks.

One of stressor in college students is taking a final project as a graduation requirement. The body'sresponse toward stress includes a rise of heart rate, diarrhea and insomnia. One of stressmanagement is affirmation relaxation (AR) technique. This research aimed to analyze the influenceof AR technique towards stress on students who take a final project in Faculty of Nursing, UniversityOf Jember. This research used a quasi experiment with Pretest-Post test approach and controlgroup design. Sampling technique that used is purposive sampling with respondent divided into twogroups, the treatment group and control group with 15 respondents for each group. Data wasanalyzed by using Dependent t test and Independent t test with 95% CI. The result showed thatthere was a significant difference stress before and after given AR technique within average 19,2 to10,87 (p = 0,001). Mean while, there was no significant difference of stress between pretest and posttest in control group within average 18,73 to 18,4 (p = 0,841). Overall, there was a difference ofstress between treatment group and control group (p =0,02, α = 0,05). The AR techniques reducestress because it can influence the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves to produce endorphinehormone. The conclusion of this research is there was an influence of AR technique towards stresson students who Taking a Final Project in Faculty of Nursing University of Jember. Keywords: affirmation relaxation technique, stress, final project.

This research discussed how the use herringbone technique  to improve the students’ ability in reading. This research used quasi experimental design that applied a pre-test and post-test design. The data was analyzed by using t-test. The population of this research was the eight year students of SMP Negeri 9 Parepare in academic year 2013/2014. There were two classes, a class for experimental class and a class for control class. It utilized cluster random sampling technique. The number of each class was 30 students. The instrument used in this research was reading test use of herringbone technique in learning reading. The result of this research was a significant difference between experimental group and control group. This indicates the mean score of the post-test of experimental group was 97 while that of the control group was 92. Moreover, the t-test value (7,24) was higher than t-table value (2.021). In other words, Hypothesis Alternative (H1) was accepted and Hypothesis Null (H0) was rejected. This means that Using Herringbone technique can improve the students’ reading comprehension by using herringbone technique.

Hypertension during pregnancy may lead to a serious condition called preeclampsia.Health cadre should be provided with information concerning identification of such risk. This study aimed to identify the impact of guidebook of pregnant woman with preeclampsia on knowledge and attitude in pregnant women in health cadre. The study design was quasi-experimental withnon-randomized pretest-posttest group control approach. This study involved 60 health cadres whom were assigned into two groups, intervention group (n= 30) and control group (n= 30) and recruited through purposive sampling technique. The results suggest that there was significant difference in health cadre’s attitude between both groups (p= 0.000). Variable of duration being a cadre is the most determinant factor affecting cadre’s attitude. Health promotion through guidebook of pregnant woman with preeclampsia was effective in improving health cadre’s attitude. Authors recommend health cadres to use the guidebook of pregnant woman with preeclampsia when enacting their duties.

Aim: The present study is aimed to assess the effect of distraction therapy during venipuncture in reducing pain among 6-12 years children in the selected hospital at Bhubaneswar. Methods: The study was a double blind; Randomized control trial design was used and the formal consent was obtained from Pradyumna Bal Memorial Hospital and the investigator selected 182 samples using consecutive sampling technique and then randomized into experimental and control groups. The intervention group and the control were having 91 samples each. Measurement of pain experienced by the school going children was assessed with the help of Wong-Baker Faces Pain Scale. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Result: The mean pain score of children in experimental group was 2.571 and the standard deviation was 2.006. The p value in comparing the pain level of children in control and experimental group was <0.01, which was statistically significant at p<0.05 (confidence interval 95%) level indicating that there was significant difference in the post test level of pain between the experimental and control group. Conclusion: Hence the distraction therapy was responsive in reducing the vein-puncture pain among school going children.

The aim of this research is to know the implementation of Concept-Oriented Reading Instruction (CORI) in improving students’ reading comprehension of analytical exposition text and to find out whether there is a significant difference between students who were taught by using CORI and those who were not. This research used quantitative approach with experimental research which was conducted at an Islamic High School in Kemuja, Bangka Belitung Province. The researcher used purposive sampling technique and two classes were taken as the sample. The result of the test was analyzed by using statistical analysis of paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The result showed that the students who learned by using CORI got higher score than those who did not. It could be seen from the result of independent sample t-test of students’ post-test between experimental group and control group, the t-obtained in equal variences assumed was 2.385, and the significant (2-tailed) was 0.023. Since t-obtained was higher than t-table (2.385 > 2.036) and the significant (2-tailed) was lower than computation with level significant (0.023  < 0.05). Based on the fact above, it could be concluded that CORI significantly improved the students’ reading comprehension.

Purpose of this study is to examine the impact of verbal feedbacks given to the player during trainings on the basketball dribbling. The study is performed with total 40 students in two groups having similarities in terms of various factors and having education in Toros University in 2016-2017 academic year. The average age of the research group is (20.87 ± 1.61) for the test group and (20.60 ± 1.09) for the control group. Dribbling Evaluation Form, whose validity and reliability study was conducted by Çamur3 was used as data collection tool. In the data analysis, Shapiro-Wilk test was used to determine whether the scores show normal distribution or not. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test was used to determine the difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the groups. In the study, 0.05 was used in statistical processes as the level of significance. According to the research findings, there was a significant difference between the test group's pre-test and post-test dribbling values (p <0.05). The Mann-Whitney U Test was used to determine the differences between test and control groups. According to the research findings, a significant difference was found between the test and control groups' post-test dribbling values (p <0.05). As a result, it was observed that verbal feedback during eight weeks of training had a positive effect on dribbling. Keywords: Dribbling, Skill Learning, Basketball, Feedback, Verbal Feedback

Introduction: Tuberculosis is well known as an infectious disease on lungs system caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis in physical, social and mental health conditions. Methods: This research applied quasi-experiment and consisted of pre and post-test on non-equivalent control group. The subjects were divided into two groups, control group (35) and treatment group (35) by using simple random sampling technique based on inclusion criteria. The research was conducted at Health Center, Jombang. The variables involved in this research were psycho-education psychological aspects. Results: The results of the research showed that physical and psychological aspects on both treatment and control groups is with p = 0.000 (<0.05) which means that there is significant difference on psychological aspect between treatment and control groups. Psycho-education significantly influenced psychological among the patients with tuberculosis. Conclusion: This change occurred due to the increase of health on the patient with tuberculosis in psychological aspects and also it followed by the decrease of symptoms on the patient.
