The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) The relationship of leg muscle strength to the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. 2) Relationship between ankle coordination and the result of shooting the ball silently towards the goal. 3) The relationship between leg muscle strength and ankle coordination towards the results of shooting the ball silently towards the goal. The method used in this study is a method of correlation with test and measurement techniques. Data analysis was carried out by a computerized system with simple or multiple regression analysis. The population in this study were students who participated in extra-curricular football at Pontianak's N 8 High School, totaling 22 people. In this study, there was no sampling technique because it took all the population who participated in 22 extra-curricular activities. The results of the analysis of the data obtained indicate that: 1) There is a relationship between leg muscle strength to the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. 2) There is a coordination relationship between the ankles and the result of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. 3) There is a relationship between leg muscle strength and ankle coordination towards the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. The amount of donation given by leg muscle strength to the results of silent ball shooting towards the goal was 52.1%, while the coordination contribution of the ankle to the results of silent ball shooting towards the goal was 25.3%. While the magnitude of the contribution given by the two variables, namely leg muscle strength and ankle coordination was 59% of the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. It is recommended that in addition to practicing silent ball shooting techniques towards the goal, leg muscle strength should be taken into consideration for the trainer in giving a portion of training.

BACKGROUND: Numerous investigations report that depressive symptoms frequently coexist with persistent pain. However, evidence suggests that symptoms of depression are not an inevitable consequence of pain. Diathesis-stress formulations suggest that psychological factors interact with the stress of pain to heighten the risk of depressive symptoms. Perceptions of injustice have recently emerged as a factor that may interact with the stress of pain to increase depressive symptoms.OBJECTIVES: The purpose of the present study was to examine whether perceived injustice moderates the relationship between pain and depressive symptoms.METHODS: A total of 107 individuals with persistent musculoskeletal pain completed self-report measures of pain severity, depressive symptoms, perceived injustice and catastrophizing.RESULTS: A hierarchical regression analysis revealed that the interaction between pain severity and perceived injustice uniquely contributed an additional 6% of the variance to the prediction of depressive symptoms, beyond the main effects of these variables. Post hoc probing indicated that pain was significantly related to depressive symptoms at high, but not low levels of perceived injustice. This finding remained statistically significant even when controlling for pain catastrophizing.CONCLUSIONS: The results suggest that perceived injustice augments the relationship between pain severity and depressive symptoms. The inclusion of techniques specifically targeting perceptions of injustice may enhance the effectiveness of interventions aimed at reducing symptoms of depression for individuals presenting with strong perceptions of injustice.

Judo is described as a physical contact sport. A judo athlete should try to make themovement of throwing, slamming and holding the opponent's strength during the game. To perform the technique well, muscle strength is important in judo athletes. As one of the components of physical fitness in athletes, muscle strength has an important role for the judo athlete to maximize their performance and have their best achievement. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship of muscle strength level of judo athletes with their achievement in Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XVIII 2012 in Riau. A cross-sectional study using the analytical method was done on 19 Judo athletes as subjects. Data are collected from secondary data as a result of muscle strength examination measured by push, pull, and leg dynamometer, conducted by Komite Olah Raga Nasional (KONI) West Java. Judo athletes who participated Pekan Olah Raga Nasional (PON) XVIII 2012 championship in Riau were included while athletes who injured were excluded. In this study judo athletes who won medals (got achievement) were 7 athletes, while those who did not win medals (did not get the achievement) were 12 athletes. The significance value (p-value) for the relationship of muscle strength with judo athlete’s achievement as measured by push dynamometer was 0.764, pull dynamometer was 0.570, and leg dynamometer was 0.132. In conclusion, there isno significant relationship between the level of muscle strength with the judo athlete’s achievement on Pekan Olah Raga Nasional (PON) XVIII 2012.

This research aims to find out the relationship of arm muscle strength to passing skills in handball games in members of SME (Student Activity Unit) Suryakancana Cianjur University. The method used in this study used quantitative methods of this type of method with a sample number of 30 people. Data collection uses a push pull dynamometer to then perform data normality tests, data correlation tests, and simple linear regression tests. The results of the study on the data normality test obtained significant values of variableS X, 390 and variable Y of ,257 both values showed that the value exceeded a significant level of >0.05 then the data was normal distribution. Based on the results of the correlation test there is a significance value of 0.09 indicating that the data has a relationship. The results of a simple linear regression test obtained an r-square value of 0.323 that there was an influence on the relationship of arm muscle strength to the passing ability in handball games by 0.323%.Key words: Arm strength, Passing ability, Handball, Sports Skill, Motor ability

This study aims to determined the relationship arm muscle strength, limb muscle explosive and movement coordination with coordination with swimming speed bracelet on students PENJASKESREK at Serambi Mekkah University. The population in this studied were all student PENJASKESREK at Serambi Mekkah University. Based on the purposive sampling technique, the samples totaling 30 students who had passed the T.P. Basic Swimming and T.P. Advanced Swimming. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that arm muscle strength gave a relationship of 0.52 to the speed of breaststroke swimming in students, limb muscle explosive gave a relationship of 0.44 to the speed of breaststroke swimming to students, movement coordination gave a relationship of 0,42 with the speed of breaststroke swimming to students. The concluded that arm muscle strength, limb muscle explosive and movement coordination were related by 0.79 with the breaststroke swimming speed on Students at Serambi Mekkah University. So the hypothesis that the author proposed was accepted as true.
