Abstract. Information and communication technology (ICT) have an important role in teaching and learning activities, especially in learning assessment. Instructional assessment is one of a series of learning activities aimed at correcting, controlling the extent to which learning objectives have been achieved. Instructional assessment can be done with the help of computers and the internet so that the management of learning outcomes becomes easier, faster, and real time. The technology that can be used in the assessment process is such as edmodo, google quiz, hot potatoes, quiz creator. But in reality, most learning activities that teachers use are still conventional. That is due to the lack of knowledge and mastery of teachers on the use of information and communication technology, especially in instructional assessment. Therefore, there is a need for training on the use of ICT-based Instructional assessment to improve teachers’ competency. The approach method used assistance that includes socialization, workshops, training, hands-on practice, and evaluation. The results obtained state that evaluation of learning is very important for a program and purpose, both educational, learning, or training programs.

This study aims to describe the impact of online mentoring activities in implementing the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) learning model on the competence of elementary school teachers in training students’ critical thinking skills. The method was a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 25 elementary school teachers in Indonesia. The teachers received online mentoring in implementing RADEC learning model. The research instrument was a questionnaire to measure teachers’ knowledge and skills in training critical thinking. The data processing technique was carried out by calculating the mean and the percentage of each item to obtain a description of the teachers’ knowledge and skills in training students’ critical thinking before and after treatment. The data were analyzed inferentially with a paired sample t-test using SPSS version 22 software to see the impact of the treatment on teachers’ competence in training critical thinking. Based on the results of the paired-sample t-test, for both the knowledge and skills aspects, the probability value (sig) was 0.00 <0.05. This result means that there was a significant difference in the knowledge and skills of teachers in training students’ critical thinking skills before and after mentoring activities. The study results indicate that the online mentoring in implementing the RADEC learning model improved teachers’ competence in training elementary school students’ critical thinking skills.

This study is motivated by the issues found in observations at school, where the daily teaching activities carried out by teachers show that; teaching and learning activities are classical, the teacher only stands or sits in front of the class, the direct relationship between the teacher and students is rare, and students tend to behave passively, such as coming, listening, reading and writing. To overcome this issues, the researchers conducted a research by applying a three-step type of cooperative learning model interview in learning mathematics in the class. The purpose of this study is to reveal the activities and learning outcomes of students after applying the three-step interview type cooperative learning model. From the results of the study it was found that the learning activities of students during the application of the three step interview cooperative learning model increased at each meeting. Thus it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students with learning by applying a three-step interview type cooperative learning model is better than those who do not apply the techniques.
