The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all fields of life, including education. Indonesia through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has issued a policy called learning from home. The implementation of the policy is carried out with the help of technology and the internet. This article provides an overview of the implementation of learning from home policy. Researchers aim to find out the success of distance learning for history subject during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted on history distance learning, which was performed in XI IPA 5 class of SMA Negeri 2 Pandeglang. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study approach. The results show that distance learning implemented at SMA Negeri 2 Pandeglang is considerably successful because it has fulfilled five factors in the success of distance learning, namely institutional management, learning environment, learning design, supporting services, and learning evaluation.

Generally, education is a process of communication and transfer of information from educators to students. Online learning is a special education service that is carried out inclusively with a kind of separate learning model between educators and students. The purpose of this study is describing and analyzing the management of distance learning and open learning in Kindergarten of Muslimat NU 41 Gawok Dukuh Dempok Wuluhan. The method used is qualitative descriptive analysis with case study approach. The researchers used interviews to collect datas and triangulations to check the datas validity. The model of data analyzing and validity checking was based on the theory by Miles and Huberman. The results of the study showed : (1) Planning: school coordinates with parents via Whatsapp group and teachers prepares the themes of learning for creating learning flexibility. (2) Implementation: the teachers accompany parents through Whatsapp with some themes of discussion. (3) Evaluation: the evaluaton is carried out daily and weekly indirectly through Whatsapp group, the media used for interaction between teachers to students, teachers to teachers and also interviews to parents, or by giving assignments and visiting works. Pendidikan secara umum merupakan suatu proses komunikasi dan transfer informasi dari pendidik kepada peserta didik. Pembelajaran daring merupakan layanan pendidikan khusus secara inklusif yang dilaksanakan dengan model pembelajaran terpisah antara pendidik dan peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis tentang pengelolaan pembelajaran open and distance learning di TK Muslimat NU 41 Gawok Dukuh Dempok Wuluhan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskrptif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tehnik wawancara. Sedangkan metode analisis data menggunakan model analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Keabsahan data dengan trianggulasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Perencanaan: sekolah berkoordinasi dengan wali murid, guru menyiapkan tema pembelajaran, sekolah menyiapkan group Whatsapp, fleksibilitas belajar anak di rumah. (2) Pelaksanaan: guru mendampingi orang tua melalui media Whatsapp, tema dapurku, tema belajar anak pintar, anak hebat dan anak cerdas, tema sahabat bermain, tema rajin ibadah. (3) Evaluasi: pemanfaatan grup Whatsapp untuk evaluasi harian dan mingguan melalui grup Whatsapp, baik evaluasi dengan dialog langsung antar anak dan guru maupun guru dengan guru, maupun interview guru dengan orang tua, serta melalui penugasan dan hasil karya wisata. Kata Kunci: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, pembelajaran jarak jauh

This research aims to describe the mistakes of the prospective teachers in solving the application of radian measurement problems and their causes. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The types of data collection in this research consisted of the results of the subject's work and transcripts of interviews with research subjects. By following the type of data, this research instrument consists of one question about the problem of applying radian measurement and interview guidelines developed by the researchers. Data analysis of the subject's work is carried out by classifying the types of errors to know the types of errors that arise in solving the problem of applying the radian measurements. While the transcript analysis of the interview results was carried out by coding the words to determine the factors causing the errors that appeared. The results of the research indicate that the error in solving the problem of applying the radian measurement are misconceptions and factual errors. This misconception is generally caused by intuitive thinking, while this factual error is generally caused by not paying careful attention to the information in the question. The solution to these errors is to analyze the elements of the circle that are interconnected in solving the problem of applying the radian measurements and to be careful in writing the information that is known in the question.

<div class="page" title="Page 1"><div class="layoutArea"><div class="column"><p>This study focuses on deliberative democracy practices in Caturtunggal village, specifically in the sub-village (<em>dusun</em>) of Seturan, Karangwuni, and Ambarukmo. The study assesses the quality of deliberation in these dusun by applying the three out of  five indicators of deliberative democracy theory by Fishkin (2009), namely information, subtantantive balance, and equal consideration. This study deploys qualitative descriptive method and case-study approach with in-depth interview as the main data gathering technique. This deliberation has put Village Consultative Board (BPD) period of 2013-2019 as a mediator and to consider arguments and deliberative results. Based on the indicators which proposed by Fishkin, Seturan and Ambarukmo are categorized for having semi-ideal deliberation, meanwhile Karangwuni is categorized as not ideal. The study also finds elite capture practices in Seturan and Karangwuni, but they do not impact significantly. </p></div></div></div>

This study examines the political communication strategy carried out by Kiai as a boarding school caretaker in the General Election. The purpose of this study is to describe the political communication strategy carried out by Kiai Syafik Rofi'i, caretaker of the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School in Bangkalan Regency, East Java Province in the 2019 General Election. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The results showed that the political communication strategy being implemented was political negotiation among kiai in Islamic boarding schools in Bangkalan Regency. In addition, political communication uses the strategy of a campaign winning team or success team, and also uses the media as a channel for delivering messages to provide understanding and influence public opinion.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan: (1) nilai-nilai semboyan maja labo dahu dalam pendidikan karakter;  (2) implementasi semboyan maja labo dahu dalam pendidikan karakter;  (3) efektivitas implementasi semboyan maja labo dahu dalam pendidikan karakter di MTs Negeri 1 Kota Bima. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Penentuan  subjek penelitian yang dilakukan dengan teknik purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif model interaktif dengan langkah-langkah: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Nilai-nilai semboyan maja labo dahu sesuai dengan nilai-nilai dalam pendidikan karakter, yaitu: nilai religius, jujur, disiplin, mandiri, menghargai prestasi, dan cinta tanah air. (2) Implementasi semboyan maja labo dahu belum dirumuskan secara eksplisit atau dibakukan sebagai materi pelajaran. (3). Semboyan  maja labo dahu telah efektif memberikan pengetahuan moral tentang nilai-nilai semboyan maja labo dahu kepada siswa. Kata Kunci:   semboyan,  maja labo dahu,  pendidikan karakter MAJA LABO DAHU SLOGAN IN CHARACTER EDUCATION Abstract: The purpose of this research was to reveal: (1) ) the values of the maja labo dahu slogan in character education; (2)  the implementation of   maja labo dahu  slogan  in character education; (3) the effectiveness of the implementation  of maja labo dahu  slogan in character education in Public MTs 1 Bima City. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using case study approach in Public MTs 1 Bima City. Informants in this study were principals, teachers, and students of Public MTs 1 Bima City. Determination of research was subjects conducted with purposive techniques. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) The values of maja labo dahu slogan were in accordance with the values in character education, namely: religious values, honest, disciplined, independent, appreciating achievement and loving the homeland. (2) the implementation of maja labo dahu slogan in Public MTs 1 Bima City was not formulated explicitly or standardized as subject matter. (3) The slogan maja labo dahu has effectively provided moral knowledge about the values of maja labo dahu  to learners. Keywords: Maja labo dahu slogan,,  character education

The implementation of learning is the most important part in improving the quality of education. The Covid-19 pandemic period is part of the challenge for education so that learning continues. The purpose of this study was to investigate in depth the implementation of distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School. The data sources in this study were teachers, parents, and students. Data collection techniques using structured interviews assisted with guidelines that are structured questions systematically. Data analysis using the Denzin Licoln case study model assisted by atlas.ti software version 8. The technique used to improve the quality of research is source triangulation. The results of this study provide information that in the implementation of the implementation of distance learning there are three factors, namely policy, distance learning process, and human resource activeness. These three factors are novelty which can be recommendations for the three education centers in order to be part of improving the quality of distance learning education during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Social enterprises are organizations that seek to achieve social goals through innovative and social value-creating activities. However, besides their social objectives, they are confronting financial and resource-based challenges in the markets to provide their sustainability. The tension between these dual objectives leads organizations to focus on one of the strategies value-creating or value capture. However, in recent years, hybrid organizing is seen as an alternative way of balancing dual objectives. Thus this study aims to understand how hybrid social enterprises perform well and create social impact. A qualitative descriptive single case study approach will be used to analyze a hybrid organization and its consequences.

The purpose of this study was to examine the circumstances that prompted the school administrators to construct a new library that included modern library spaces, resources and facilities, to find out the strategies used to build the new library and to determine the perceived effects that the new spaces, resources and facilities have on students’ cognitive and social development. This research took an evaluative case study approach. Purposive sampling was used to select the school principal, the school librarian and eight students. The principal and school librarian were interviewed and open ended interview schedules were administered to the students. The findings revealed that the design of the library, the resources and the facilities had a positive impact on students’ cognitive and social development. It was recommended that the Ministry of Education Youth and Information re-design or construct similar school libraries on a phase basis because of the positive educational impact.

This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques use the method of interview, observation, and documenta-tion. Data analysis is done by condensing data, then presenting data, and conclusions drawn from the data. In checking the validity of the data, researchers use methods, namely extending the time of partici-pation of researchers in the field, increasing persistence of observation, using appropriate reference materials, and reading book tests. The results of the analysis show that the process of applying the Al-Miftah Lil ‘Ulum Method at Madin Wustho Hidayatul Mubtadi’in –Malang City was carried out through several stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Among the supporting factors of the learning process and the inhibiting factors to applied it.

Penglipuran Traditional Village is a traditional landscape that places the element of nature as the basic concept of its design and has a local wisdom form of sustainable architecture. The village is located in Bali, at a distance of 45 km from Denpasar and 5 km from Bangli. This research is done by qualitative descriptive method and with case study approach. The purpose of this research is to find out the local wisdom of sustainable architecture applied in Penglipuran Village, as a foundation to study Balinese traditional architecture. Penglipuran village as a settlement has a spatial pattern which is divided into 3 (three) spatial divisions based on Tri Mandala concept consisting of: 1) Main Mandala (Pura); 2) Madya Mandala (Residence); 3) Nista Mandala (Tomb). Traditional House Penglipuran Bali is a form of cultural mindset of ancestors Penglipuran people of a region with a good and uphold the ancestral customs and strive to maintain the order well, neatly organized conceptual and sustainable nature and the environment.
