Social development of children is very important to be developed in social relationships in the surrounding environment. But in fact, the social development of children is still low with an average of as 42,50%. This is due to the lack of use of contructive games that have not been effective.so, the quality of learning process is less than optimal. This study aims to determine the effect of constructive game on social development of children. This type of study is a quasi experimental research, with research design Non equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all children of group B in cluster VI Buleleng sub-district which amounting to 387 children. Sampling by technique cluster sampling, and selected one is Negeri Pembina kindergarten school as experimental group and Aisyiyah kindergarten as a control group. The results showed that in the experimental group earn on average 32,23 while in the control group earn on average 24,75. The children's social development data of the experimental group and the control group are normal and homogeneous distributed. Then the data were analyzed using t-test, the result obtained t_hitung of the experimental group and the control group obtained the result of 12.26 with a significant level of 5% degree of freedom = 57 t_tabel of 2.002, so t_hitung bigger than t_tabel then H_0 rejected and H_1 accepted which means there is a significant influence between groups receiving constructive game treatment with non-treated groups.keyword : social development, constructive game.

This study aimed to determine the effect of applying the flipped classroom model to students’ learning outcomes in oxidation-reduction reactions. It was conducted in SMAN 47 Jakarta. Research method is quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 72 students were taken with purposive sampling. Independent variables are the flipped classroom model and direct instructional. Chemistry learning outcome became a dependent variable. The flipped classroom model is invers of the traditional learning model. Students learn the instructional material at home through videos and discussions in class. Analysis of the requirement’s test showed that the data were normally distributed and had homogeneous variances. Hypothesis testing showed different results in a significant level of 0.05. The differences of average value between pretest and posttest of the experimental group is 12.50. While the differences in the control group was 7.17. It can be concluded that the difference of average value between pretest and posttest of the experimental group is higher than the control group. The flipped classroom model can improve students’ learning outcomes in the oxidation-reduction reaction.

The study developed constructivist approach experiments to determine its effectiveness in teaching physics concepts. The quasi-experiment following a non-equivalent control group design was used. Two sections of 2nd year BSIT students of Isabela State University-Cauayan Campus were involved. The study administered pre-test and post-test. The scores in the achievement test and standardized attitude inventory test were compared and the significance of their difference was determined using the t-test. The control group and the experimental group were equal in terms of cognitive level in Physics. However, the students exposed to the constructivist approach of laboratory teaching had significantly higher post-test scores and higher mean gain scores than the students exposed to the traditional approach after the study was conducted. The experimental group developed a more positive attitude towards Physics than the control group. Moreover, there was a significant difference between the post achievement scores and post attitude scores of the students exposed to constructivist approachbased experiments and traditional experiments. The Constructivist Approach Experiments are effective in enhancing students’ achievement and in developing a more positive attitude towards the subject than the traditional approach.   Keywords - Constructivist Approach, Constructivist Approach-Based Experiment; Traditional Experiment, Attitude Towards Physics

Methods of evaluating training courses in behaviour modification for staff working in mental handicap are briefly reviewed. Insufficient attention seems to have been paid to changes in staff behaviour following training. A widely used training package—the E.D.Y. Course—was investigated using a non-equivalent control group design. Four special school teachers were given E.D.Y. training and compared with four control teachers pretraining, post-training and at a fourteen month follow-up. Results indicated that experimental teachers changed their behaviour following training in the expected direction and maintained this change at follow-up. Control group teachers showed no behavioural change from occasion to occasion and scored significantly lower than the experimental group on the dependent variable on each occasion. The results are discussed in terms of the effectiveness of the package and the maintenance and generalization of skills.

Improvisational exercises is a technique which consist three steps, they are preparation, modelling, and playing, that is preparation the teacher presents exercises, the students practice (modelling), and then procedure (playing)and the it provides three main goals; (1) the students pronounciation improve, (2) proper use of grammatical structure is reinforced, (3) vocabulary practice in enhanced. With this background, this research was quasi-experimental, with non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes of students enrolled in 2013/2014 academic year, which one group was taken to be an experimental and the other to be a control group. The data obtained through the test were analysed by using statistical analysis. In conducting the research, the researcher used improvisational exercise technique to evaluate the students’ speaking performance which covered by three components of speaking, such as: fluency, accuracy, and comprehensibility. The research findings shows thatthe use of improvisational exercise technique (presentation, modelling, and playing) in teaching speaking can improve the speaking performance of the eight year students of  SMP Negeri 2 Majene significantly after being given treatment. The mean score of experimental group in post-test and control group were significantly different. The mean score of post-test in experimental group (3.36) was higher than control group (3.00).Thus, it is recomended for all English teacher to improve the students ability in speaking.
