Online learning using the Flexible Learning (Flearn) Learning Management System (LMS) at SWCU has been running for 17 years. To ensure Flearn's effectiveness, empirical evidence is needed, so this study aims to: 1) determine whether the level of student Self-regulated Learning (SRL) in learning using Flearn is higher than learning using Google Classrom (GC), and 2) knowing whether the level of learning outcomes mediated by the student's SRL level were higher than learning using GC. The type of research used to determine the attainment of this goal is the type of experiment using the Matching-only model Pretest-posttest Control Group design and Factorial design. Participants in this experiment involved 74 people, with details of 36 students and 1 lecturer as the 1st experimental group and 36 students and 1 lecturer as the control group (experiment 2). The experimental group 1 used Flearn, while the experimental group 2 used GC. The research instrument used test questions to measure student learning outcomes variables and SRL scale rubric to measure students' SRL level. The data analysis technique used the Independent Sample t-Test and ANCOVA technique. The results showed the following findings: 1) the level of student SRL in learning using Flearn was significantly higher than learning using GC, 2) the level of student learning outcomes mediated by the student SRL level was significantly higher than learning using GC.

One of the mangrove forests in Indramayu, West Java, Indonesia that plays an essential role in the environment and becomes a learning center, is the Karangsong mangrove forest. The study aimed to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of Enrichment E-Module of Mangrove Ecosystem (EMME) to improve students' self-regulated learning. This study was Research & Development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This study was conducted at a Senior High School in Sindang, Indramayu, Indonesia with ten (X) grade of science class. The samples were chosen using a purposive sampling technique, resulting in class X-7 chosen as a control group and class X-8 as an experimental group. The design of this study used a non-equivalent control group design. The average validation result by experts was that media expert of 87.75 (very feasible), material expert of 94.36 (very feasible), and biology teacher of 93.40 (very feasible). The results indicated that the enriched e-module of the mangrove ecosystem was feasible in enrichment learning. E-module did not significantly influence to improve students' self-regulated learning, as seen from the result of the Mann Whitney test (0.077). Improvement of students' self-regulated learning was low, as seen from the N-gain score of the control group (0.06) and the experimental group (0.20). These concluded that the e-module of the mangrove ecosystem could be used in the learning, and short time allocation causes the module not to influence self-regulated learning significantly. Several revisions are needed in order to make the e-module more effective in improving students' self-regulated learning.

This study aimed at describing an effect of implementing self regulated learning (SRL) models towards students’ achievement in Introduction to Accounting course. The study was conducted at the Department of Accounting in 2015/2016 utilizing a post-test only control group design, involving the second semester students as the subject. The Samples were determined based on simple random sampling in which every individual in the population had an equal chance to be chosen as a sample. The results of the post-test indicated that the students who were treated with self regulated learning (SRL) models had better achievement than those treated with a conventional model. The means score of the experimental group was 79.64 higher than that the control group which was only 69.39. It can be concluded that the students’ achievement of experimental group was better than the control group. The result of t-test indicated that the assumption of equal variance not assumed significance probability 2.479 and the significant level about 0.016 (two tail), meaning that significance less than 0.05. The null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. This conclude that there was a significant difference between the students’ achievement treated by self regulated learning (SRL) models and those treated with conventional models.

Keywords: SRL, Media ICT, Learning Outcomes
