Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common life-shortening recessive genetic disease in the UK. Far from being a condition managed exclusively by paediatricians with sufferers dying in early childhood, CF is now a condition in which adults outnumber children with the condition, and the death of a child in a paediatric centre is rare. As increasing numbers of young people grow up relatively healthy it is unsurprising they begin to ask about relationships, sex, fertility and the possibility of having a child. This paper briefly describes the genetics, pathophysiology and clinical features of CF with an emphasis on how it pertains to female reproduction. The management of women with CF considering having a baby including contraception, preparation for pregnancy, the pregnancy itself, delivery and the post natal period will be discussed. Contraindications to pregnancy, method of termination, and pregnancy after transplantation will also be considered. Much of the detailed management is given in the European Guidelines for the Management of Pregnancy in Women with CF on which this paper is based.

In this chapter a descriptive framework for designing interactive digital learning environments for young people is proposed. The proposed framework aims to analyse and compare interactive digital learning environments. This framework may be useful to guide the design of digital learning environments for young people and also to provide a structure for understanding the interface characteristics of such environments and how users interact with them. Young people's characteristics are briefly discussed in relation to the learning process. The approach to creating the framework is presented with the related literature. The framework is described and consists of three main components: learning, user interaction, and visual. Finally, conclusions on the design of interactive digital learning environments are drawn.

The relevance of the article is due to the need to study the main characteristics of didactic support of youth project activities and social initiatives in the context of opportunities to increase the effectiveness of this pedagogical category. The purpose of the article is to consider the main components of didactics of educational project activities and social initiatives of youth in the unity of goals, organizational principles, content, forms, methods, pedagogical conditions and implementation algorithm. The resource potential of the project method for working with young people is indicated, which consists in a wider inclusion of students in socially significant activities for the regions within the framework of the "third mission" of universities. These circumstances will contribute to a more effective disclosure of their educational and search, scientific and creative potential, intellectual and professional-business personal qualities. (responsibility, initiative, sociability, performance, leadership qualities, etc.). The article substantiates that youth project activity involves the passage of a certain educational route by its participants, in which they apply their existing competencies and skills of project activity necessary to solve real applied tasks of the project. The essence of the hypothesis is revealed: the educational and socio-project activity of young people is effective if it begins with student projects tied to the real socio-economic problems of the territories of their permanent residence (small homeland), and acting in this aspect as a personal-cognitive and socio-educational factor in the development of professional competencies, project skills and communicative and business culture.

This article proposes that the unprecedented challenges of our rapidly changing world require more than piecemeal educational reform. It describes partnership education as an integrated template for redesigning the three main components of education: content, process, and structure. In addition, it provides examples of how various elements of partnership education can be incorporated into current classrooms, both in schools and universities. It illustrates how partnership education can help young people develop their full potentials, not only preparing them to navigate through our difficult times but providing them the knowledge and skills to help build a more peaceful, equitable, and sustainable future.

The article analyses the study results concerning socio-psychological peculiarities of the attitudes to work of youth with different economic status. The socio-psychological model of the “attitude to work” concept is presented as a multilevel system that acts as part of the system of human relations and is closely linked to the formation of a person. This concept consists of three main components: motivationally-semantic, emotionally-axiological and behavioral. Attention should be paid to the importance of the problem of economic states of young people, which affects their attitudes to the labor. Basing on the socio-psychological model of attitude to work, we selected ten key indicators that reflect important social and psychological characteristics of young people’s attitudes to labor according to the three-component model of attitudes to work. The motivational-semantic component is represented by the following indicators: striving for external rewards; internalization of the purpose of social and professional activities; orientation to power; process orientation. The emotional-value component includes such features as satisfaction with relations with colleagues; satisfaction with management personnel relations; satisfaction with job conditions; sense of success in professional work. The behavioral component includes such indicators as readiness for energy expenditure and a socially active strategy of problem solving. These indicators have been empirically investigated for the groups of youth with low, average and high economic statuses. The performed correlative analysis has shown the existing significant links between these indicators and economic statuses of youth. The one-factor dispersion analysis has shown that young people of all three groups have statistical differences for all components, but the greatest differences are between young people with high and low economic statuses.
