According to European Tyre&Rubber Manufacturers' Association (ETRMA), there are about 1 billion cars all over the world. If the interest in cars does not change, the number of cars is going to be increased and in 2030 there is going to be more than 2 billion cars in the world - regardless of whether they will be powered by a petrol engine or a completely different one at that time. Based on the studies, we focused on the design of the crusher whose task is to effectively recover plastic and rubber waste from used cars. The paper describes the stress - strain analysis of the cutting device of the crusher using a defined material for its production. The basic parameters of the crusher were investigated for a determined final cutting force. Based on the cutting force and the designed crusher, a finite element analysis (FEM) was performed confirming the correctness of the selected material for the production of the crusher for the processing waste materials. The basic parameters of the crusher were observed for determination of the final cutting force.

This study focused on stress and strain analysis of the cutting force of a branch knife with a replaceable cutting edge. The replaceable edge forms part of the delimbing head, which is applied to the arms of a mechanical harvester working in forestry. Basic parameters of the knife and head of the harvester with the basic calculations necessary to determine the number of knives based on input parameters, such as wood diameter, woody plants, and determination of the cutting force acting on the cutting knife, were examined. Based on the cutting force and the design of the special cutting knife, a stress analysis and a finite element method (FEM) was performed. This study confirmed the correctness of the selected material to produce the delimbing knife, which was designed using a replaceable cutting edge. The output of the stress analysis is reported.

The automotive industry represents one of the most important segments of the world economy that has to be in a continue development. The latest procedures for determination of an internal combustion engine performance have a big acquisition cost and demand special conditions even if the tested engine has smaller dimensions. The present paper presents other accessible solutions for this matter.

Abstract: A bike frame is also a non-standard structural component of a motorcycle linking various components of the vehicle systems and providing the vehicle rigidity and strength while running on various road conditions. This study is geared toward designing the frame of a two-wheeler, two-seater motorcycle for an electrical mobility purpose, while considering strength, safety and optimum performance of the vehicle. The said study has been allotted with a two-step approach. the first step includes modelling of the frame as per structural and ergonomic considerations, the design constraints governed by the front and rear suspension, steering and transmission systems and assemblies further because the determination of loads functioning on the frame. The second step is that the strain analysis using finite element analysis software and magnificence modifications for weight reduction without affecting structural strength. The main aim was to cut back the burden, centralize the load and lower the burden of the frame. Thus, the metal tubes were divided into primary, secondary and tertiary members supported the tube diameters and thicknesses so on reduce the final weight of the frame without affecting its strength. The centre of gravity of the frame is below the rider way thus ensuring an occasional and centralized frame weight. The trusses not only provide strength and rigidity but also safety of the actuation and essential vehicle components against impacts. The chassis is additionally a skeleton upon which parts like battery and motor are mounted. The two-wheeler chassis consists of a frame, suspension, wheels and brakes. The chassis is what truly sets the sort of the twowheeler. Commonly used material for two- wheeler chassis is steel which is heavy in weight or more accurately in density. There are various alternate materials like aluminium alloys, titanium, carbon fibre, magnesium, etc. which are lesser in weight and provide high strength and thus are often used for chassis. Keywords: Frame, Chassis, Finite element analysis, Analysis, Frequency Analysis, Swing arm.

The change in cutting force in the cutting process of roll-formed section in shaped dies-knife guillotine is studied. It is established that to calculate the cutting force in shaped guillotine, one can use formulas to determine the cutting force of sheet blank on conventional straight knives guillotine.

The article summarizes the main approaches in the definition of business valuation the economic entity. In the process of business valuation, taking into account the risks of financial and economic activities necessary to obtain information on what stage the owner implements the business will receive income. The most difficult task is the impossibility of accurate prediction in determining the level of income and the determination of a discount rate capitalization of future incomes due to the instability of the economy, both in the country and around the world.

In concrete box girders, the amount and distribution of reinforcements in the webs have to be estimated considering the local effects due to eccentric external loads and cross-sectional distortion and not only the global effect due to the resultant forces of a longitudinal analysis: shear, torsion and bending. This work presents an analytical model that allows designers to take into account the interaction of all these effects, global and local, for the determination of the reinforcements. The model is based on the theory of stress fields and it has been compared to a 3D finite element analysis, in order to validate the interaction domains. The results show how the proposed analytical model allows an easy and reliable reinforcement evaluation, in agreement with a more refined 3D analysis but with a reduced computational burden.

From the recent literature, it is revealed that pipe bend geometry deviates from the circular cross-section due to pipe bending process for any bend angle, and this deviation in the cross-section is defined as the initial geometric imperfection. This paper focuses on the determination of collapse moment of different angled pipe bends incorporated with initial geometric imperfection subjected to in-plane closing and opening bending moments. The three-dimensional finite element analysis is accounted for geometric as well as material nonlinearities. Python scripting is implemented for modeling the pipe bends with initial geometry imperfection. The twice-elastic-slope method is adopted to determine the collapse moments. From the results, it is observed that initial imperfection has significant impact on the collapse moment of pipe bends. It can be concluded that the effect of initial imperfection decreases with the decrease in bend angle from 150∘ to 45∘. Based on the finite element results, a simple collapse moment equation is proposed to predict the collapse moment for more accurate cross-section of the different angled pipe bends.
