The essay discusses the logic of distinction under the sign of the contemporary culture of difference and proposes a discussion of the relationship between taste and contemporary art. The recent trend toward greater individualization might have rendered social codes more permeable. But this state of affairs is neither the opposite of the standardization nor does it imply that the social logic of distinction has been suspended. It has merely undergone further differentiation, but without abolishing the signifiers of status. On the one hand art as a commodity partakes in the respective developments, on the other, certain strands in contemporary art can also be read as opposing the subject of aesthetic experience to the subject of consumerist taste.

This chapter surveys the multiple ways in which mobile media art has been defined by outlining some of the ways in which the field has been defined as it moves from media arts and hybrid reality to a more holistic contemporary art practice. It is then considered how mobile art is heralding ways in which to rethink the relationship between the quotidian, the social, and the politics of data. Finally, the chapter reflects on movements by artists (such as Cindy Sherman) to social mobile media as a site for critique and questioning of contemporary culture and everyday life.

The article focusses on how the body is constructed for immunology. Specifically, the complex and tangled bio-political genealogy of immunity is analysed in detail as the understanding of it hovers between social and biological discourses. In addition, the controversy between different models of the immune system is examined. The social studies of immunology conducted by Donna Haraway and Emily Martin are also highlighted. In these studies, the body-immune system is understood as a diversified heterogeneous construction consisting of components belonging to different ontological orders. The construction of the immune system does not end in the labora-tory or in the clinic. It continues in other places by other means. Nevertheless, the relationship between the body and the immune system is situational: the immune system could be completely identified with the body or be a part of it. Emily Martin’s ethnography of immune systems and Donna Haraway’s feminist anthropology provide the means for understanding how the immune system, as both academics and non-academics explain it, can be juxtaposed to and also coincide with the body and even the self,but nevertheless conform to the scale, concepts, laws and metaphors of the social world of everyday life. The immune system and immunity are assessed in terms of the physiological body and the self. On the other hand, the body as a biological “self” is abstracted from the physiological and social body, and in a sense it “lives a life of its own.” Therefore, our body is the outcome of a complex coordinating effort among different bodies: the physiological body, the one identified with the self, and the body on a different scale - the biological “self” which turns out to be “non-self” and not belong to the subject

Resumo: Em O Capital, Marx nos alertou que a mercadoria tem um caráter misterioso que carrega “sutilezas metafísicas e argúcias teológicas”. Este artigo tenta decifrar um pouco desse mistério buscando decodifica-lo naquilo que denominamos como a estranha objetividade do valor. Para isso, analisamos a relação entre a ideologia e o valor a partir da crítica marxiana à mercadoria, consignada à lógica de Hegel. Vemos que o valor se constitui como razão ontológica da mercadoria enquanto produto do processo de trabalho que carrega uma racionalidade imanente, isto é, um espírito socialmente produzido que se objetiva à medida que é vivenciado pelos indivíduos como uma lógica social que rege as relações nesta sociedade. Isso se dá por meio de “sutilezas metafísicas” na formação da realidade social marcada por contradições estabelecidas entre, de um lado, o conteúdo objetivo das relações sociais, e de outro, a forma como essas relações são vivenciadas pela consciência na sociedade capitalista. Nesta relação entre conteúdo e forma, encontramos determinações de profundidade ontológica entre o valor e a ideologia, enquanto forma social que opera harmonizando as contradições constituintes da realidade social, a exemplo do que acontece no trabalho assalariado. A mediação ideológica se põe como uma progressão imanente à materialização da vivência concreta da relação entre capital e trabalho no salário, de maneira a naturalizar a exploração que se esconde na estranha objetividade do valor que se realiza na troca de mercadorias. Concluímos que a conexão ontológica entre o ser social e a mercadoria é socialmente ubíqua, precisamente por conta do seu caráter ideológico na formação da sociabilidade a partir do processo de trabalho subjugado ao capital.  Palavras-chave: Valor. Ideologia. Trabalho, Capital. Salário.  Abstract: In Capital, Marx warned us that the commodity has a mysterious character bearing "metaphysical subtleties and theological insights." This article attempts to decipher a little of this mystery by decoding it into what we call the strange objectivity of value. For this, we analyze the relation between ideology and value from the Marxian critique of the commodity, consigned to the Hegelian logic. We see that value is constituted as the ontological reason of the commodity as the product of the labor process that carries an immanent rationality, that is, a socially produced spirit that is objectified as it is experienced by the individuals as a social logic that governs the relations in this society. This is done through "metaphysical subtleties" in the formation of social reality marked by contradictions established between, on the one hand, the objective content of social relations, and on the other, the way in which these relations are experienced by consciousness in capitalist society. In this relationship between content and form, we find determinations of ontological depth between value and ideology, as a social form that operates by harmonizing the constituent contradictions of social reality, as in wage labor. Ideological mediation is seen as an immanent progression to the materialization of the concrete experience of the relation between capital and labor in wage, in order to naturalize the exploitation that is hidden in the strange objectivity of the value that is realized in the exchange of commodities. We conclude that the ontological connection between the social being and the commodity is socially ubiquitous precisely because of its ideological character in the formation of sociability from the labor process subjugated to capital.  Keywords: Value. Today, worldview, spiritual and moral problems that have always been reflected in education and upbringing come to the fore in society. In this situation, there is a demand for philosophical categories. One of the priority goals of education in modern conditions is the formation of a reasonable, reflexive person who is able to analyze their actions and the actions of other people. Modern science is characterized by an understanding of the absolute value and significance of childhood in the development of the individual, which implies the need for its multilateral study. In the conditions of democratization of all spheres of life, the child ceases to be a passive object of education and training, and becomes an active carrier of their own meanings of being and the subject of world creation. One of the realities of childhood is philosophizing, so it is extremely timely to address the identification of its place and role in the world of childhood. Children's philosophizing is extremely poorly studied, although the need for its analysis is becoming more obvious. Children's philosophizing is one of the forms of philosophical reflection, which has its own qualitative specificity, on the one hand, and commonality with all other forms of philosophizing, on the other. The social relevance of the proposed research lies in the fact that children's philosophizing can be considered as an intellectual indicator of a child's socialization, since the process of reflection involves the adoption and development of culture. Modern society, in contrast to the traditional one, is ready to "accept" a philosophizing child, which means that it is necessary to determine the main characteristics and conditions of children's philosophizing.

AbstractFrom a theoretical and empirical linguistic point of view, this paper emphasizes the importance of the relationship between populism and the media. The aim of this article is to explore the language use of the Spanish right wing populism party Vox on the basis of its multimodal postings on the social network Instagram. For the analysis of their Instagram account, a suitable multimodal discourse analysis (MDA) provides a variety of methods and allows a theoretical integration into constructivism. A hashtag-analysis reveals that Vox’s ideology consists of a nativist and ethnocentric nationalism on the one hand and conservatism on the other. With a topos analysis, the linguistic realisations of these core elements are illustrated with two case studies.

- The present study, related to the one published some years ago (Confalonieri et al., 2004), is an investigation on forced prostitution and the related violence's types in immigrant women involved in streetwalking prostitution. Using the social records available by the Ufficio Stranieri (Comune di Milano), the purpose is to identify the presence of 1) childhood maltreatments or violence before the entry in sex exploitation market and 2) subsequent adult sexual revictimization from partners, pimps and clients. Data were analysed using phenomenological descriptive analysis. The relationship between childhood maltreatment and abuse and subsequent involvement in sex work is discussed comparing data and life histories of immigrant prostitutes coming from Nigeria and East Europe. The role played by social and contexual variables in sexual exploitation story are also considered.Key words: immigration, violence, prostitution, infancy, adulthood.Parole chiave: immigrazione, violenza, prostituzione, infanzia, etŕ adulta.

"Learning about freedom as freedom to make right choices responsibly is the pivotal task of educational intervention (Chionna 2001). As a practitioner of juvenile penitentiary re-education I experiment it, trying to re-educate young offenders in a prison, where the “capability approach” should be invoked (Sen 2011) and, according to the relational ethics paradigm (Muschitiello, 2012), we teach the young the capacity/ability of choice between alternative life experiences, which should be inspired and embodied by the educational authority of the adults. As agency is a constitutive element of a capability, I wonder: who is the agent? The one who re-educates an inmate? Or the inmate himself? Who should be more efficient and responsible to act in prison? Is it all about specific required competencies that are influenced by the context where penitentiary personnel and inmates act/react reciprocally? Penitentiary educators should adjust their approach, improving their language-as-dialogue tools first, just because the relationship with inmates is based on a dialogic axis. No exception can be made for cultural and linguistic mediators, who are involved in the treatment of foreign inmates (Brancucci 2018). So, I investigate the agency level of penitentiary educators and cultural/linguistic mediators, working together synergistically and/or autonomously. They try to respond to different scenarios, recognizing there is no one-size -fits-all approach to managing cases of re-educational emergencies, and assuming that educational interventions recall a daily presence in the context (Bertolini 1993), especially in prison where people ‘live’ in close proximity (WHO, 2020). But, how to achieve agency when this proximity fades away, or is temporarily interrupted, even turning into a virtual telematic educational approach? The challenge is to transform the consolidated educational-linguistic-dialogic practices into a new bidirectional way to think, act/react (from prison personnel towards inmates and vice-versa), because of the social distance required by the COVID-19 breakthrough."

The questionnaire on continuing education by the Canadian Psychiatric Association's Council on Education and Professional Liaison, sent in 1978 to all Canadian psychiatrists, raises in the author's mind, in spite of his participation in its establishment, the question of the philosophy behind it. Indeed, seeing signs of a greater problem, he identifies the need for two studies, one dealing with the “object”, the other with the “relationship”. Not elaborating on the first one (description of patients and techniques) which is well known, he describes the second as the knowledge and significance of the encounter (that of two persons inevitably and structurally linked). This “area of relations” paradoxically given too little value in the teaching of psychiatry, is more analogical than logical, more intuitive than deductive, more perceptual than intellectual, and more multifactorial than linear. Yet, this dimension of the encounter (whether individual, familial, group or co-therapy) should take place in conjunction with the objective approach, but the latter occurs alone too often. In order to give to this field of relationship a scientific status of its own, and to reintroduce the techniques instead of using them as guard-rails, proper techniques or methods should be employed or developed if necessary. This includes on the one hand the learning of different levels of awareness and the widening of our perceptual, sensorial, intuitive and analogical capacities. (This would allow for an experience of the fundamental relationship between fields that are apart symptom-wise: dream and awakening, physical and psychic, interior and exterior, fantasy and reality, representations and objects, and so on.) On the other hand this leads us to increase our capacity to listen, to abandon ourselves and to get involved, and to “conceive” a presence within the relationship. Finally, there is this learning of how to observe oneself in a situation, of how to look at what is going on within the encounter (and it is in that very position and this very questioning that the concept of neutrality can be understood, not in the legendary phlegm of impenetrability). This can be done within an “experiential” teaching: for the therapist this means the experience and the study of his own involvement, either with a patient or in groups. Another method is supervision, not as “super”-vision but rather as “inter-discovery” and not as control but rather as “ex-pression.” Working in small groups with colleagues where one can enquire about others’ experiences without any normative goal and with an open attitude is desirable. Another tool would be professional meetings, but not in their current form which is not adapted to the field of the relationship. And so on. The author sees a fundamental necessity for these two fields of the “object” and the “relationship” to be taught conjointly, and neither one nor the other to be excluded from the psychiatrist's training; which is not the case at present. The “field of the object” implies an effort at objectifying, defining variables, causes, using experimental methodology, and a more quantitative analysis. The “field of the relationship” implies positions that are often opposed to this. This contradiction seems necessary and inevitable within every person. One tendency is to make ourselves believe that we avoid this contradiction by pretending to total objectivity: that of scientific psychiatry and clear logic. Finally the author returns to the questionnaire that, precisely in its form, is too uniquely meant for an objective teaching: teaching of diagnoses, illnesses, chart controls, patient controls, teaching through questionnaires, case presentations, putting emphasis on articles or textbooks. This proposed method is adapted for teaching persons considered as entities; and learning techniques considered as reified tools. This is exactly the classical stream of university courses and specialty examinations. This reinforces the illusion. There is also the danger, via the “credit” game, that it will strengthen the already strong tendency to mere objectifying of the subject, of the therapist and of science; that it will privilege a normative vision; and discredit certain essential and humanistic dimensions.

Why Jesus studies? Present-day historical Jesus studies are the epistemological product of what has become known as the New Historicism. The aim of the article is to emphasize two aspects of the New Historicism as epistemological approach. The one aspect focuses on the profitability of this endeavour and the other on the historical nature of the New Historicism. As far as profitability is concerned, the social standing and identity of the researcher are emphasized. Among otherthings, the social interests of the researcher are taken into account. Concerning the historical nature of this kind of research, a distinction is drawn between the Jesus of history and the Jesus of faith. The aim of the article is to gain clarity on the relationship between the Jesus of history (pre-Easter) and the Jesus of faith (post-Easter). J D Crossan's exposition of the reasons for Jesus studies is followed. He distinguishes three reasons: historical, ethical and theological.

This article discusses the relationship between legal, legal aid and legal assistance. The lack of a clear distinction between the term "legal assistence" and the terms "legal aid" and "legal" has led, in our observations, to the conclusions of individual authors and entire institutions that Ukraine's law enshrines in fact a triple system legal aid. Studies have shown that the legislator distinguishes between "legal aid" and "legal" (or legal) assistance, depending on the subject of assistance. Positive trends in the replacement of legal aid terminology with professional legal aid have been identified and shown. At he article notes that the development and establishment of independent professional legal assistance continues in the future. A large number of reforms and changes, especially at the constitutional level, on the one hand, contribute to improving and improving the development of the institution of professional legal assistance, and on the other hand, there are many contradictions and inconsistencies in this regard, because the introduction of new terms is always a supporter for its introduction and against it. Legal aid is the most successful term and should be interpreted as a multidimensional legal practice aimed at ensuring the rule of law and the realization of the rights of each person who enters into a specific legal relationship, the content of which is the implementation of legally defined means, including legal advice and clarification of the rights and procedures for their implementation, assistance in the preparation and filing of applications, petitions, complaints and other legal documents, initiation and participation in procedural actions and proper recording of their course and results, assessment of the adherence, validity and admissibility of evidence, analysis of the legality of legal decisions, taking measures to remedy infringed cases. to, damages caused offense. It also includes some of the problems that need to be addressed by further consolidating professional legal assistance in other regulations to ensure their compliance with the Basic Law of Ukraine.
