Role-based performance covers not only the scope of job but also aspects of employee work behaviour involved in performance. Aims: The present study therefore examined influence of transformational leadership style and employee engagement on role-based performance. Study Design: The study adopted a correlational research design. Place and Duration of Study: Government Ministries and Parastatals in Jos, capital of Plateau State, Nigeria. October 2016 to June 2017. Methodology: Using survey method in which 137 civil servants were purposively drawn as participants. Their age range was from 28 to 65 years with 74 (54%) male participants and 63 (46%) female participants. This study utilised role theory and personal engagement theory, while standardised psychological scales which are role-based performance scale, multifactor leadership questionnaire and intellectual social affective engagement scale were used. Data collected were analysed using regression analysis. Results: The findings indicated that transformational leadership style significantly explained 35% variance in role-based performance. Employee engagement significantly explained 22.9% variance in role-based performance. Conclusion: There is significant influence of transformational leadership style on role-based performance of civil servants. There is significant influence of employee engagement on role-based performance of civil servants.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of transformational leadership on performance with innovative behaviour as a medium variable in achieving sustainable competitive advantages, the effect of transformational leadership on employees’ ability to innovate, the effect of employees’ innovation skills on their performance and the effect of transformational leadership on employees’ performance. The research approach uses quantitative technique. While data collection in this study is a survey method using Likert scale. The research data analysis will be using SEM analysis with SmartPLS version 3. The samples are 86 employees of membership section. Purposive sampling technique will be employed as samples fetching method. The results prove that there is a significant influence on transformational leadership style on employees’ performance with their innovation behaviour as an intermediate variable. Impact of transformational leadership style is found on employees’ innovation. There is an influence of employees’ innovation behaviour on their performance. Significant influence of transformational leadership style appears on employees’ performance

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style,intrinisk motivation on the performance of employees train company with job satisfaction asa mediating variable. The number of respondents taken in this study were 52 respondentsusing probability sampling. This study uses a survey method using a quantitative approach.The analytical tool used in this study is multiple regression analysis with SPSS software.Based on the conclusion that transformational leadership style and intrinsic motivation havea positive effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable.

This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on organizational performance with emotional intelligence as a mediation variable. This research uses an explanatory research approach. Explanatory research is meant to explain the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing or the goal of obtaining appropriate testing in drawing causal conclusions between variables and then selecting alternative actions. The basic reason for using explanatory research is because the purpose of this study is to explain and examine the effect of transformational leadership, organizational culture and emotional intelligence on organizational performance at the Jatimelati Village Office, Bekasi. The population in this study were all sub-district office employees, amounting to 30 people. In this study, in determining the sample using saturated samples. Researchers set the sample in this study consisting of 30 employees. Based on result that partially, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence between transformational leadership style variables on emotional intelligence. Partially, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence between organizational culture variables on emotional intelligence. Partially, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence between transformational leadership style variables on organizational performance variables. Partially it shows a positive and significant influence between organizational culture variables on organizational performance variables. The emotional intelligence variable does not influence organizational performance; this is in contrast to previous research. So that it distinguishes this research from previous research. The results showed that simultaneously there was an influence between transformational leadership style and organizational culture on organizational performance, with emotional intelligence as an intervening variable

The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of age and experience on the leadership styles of the managers, in the three selected banks of Kashmir division viz J&K Bank, SBI and HDFC. The study focuses on two leadership styles, namely transformational and transactional leadership styles. The study reveals that the transformational leadership style is the dominant leadership style among managers of all age and experience groups. Furthermore, the study reveals that the age and experience have no significant influence on leadership styles, although with the increase in age and experience transformational leadership style is exhibited more by the managers.

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership style and training on motivation and its implications on the performance of both partially and simultaneously. Data collected through survey method and instrument questioner analysis to be distributed to the units of Mercu Buana University academic staff of 126 educators. Research analysis method is descriptive method and quantitative verification tool path analysis (path analysis) was then forwarded to the analysis of determination (R2), partial hypothesis test (t test) and test hypotheses simultaneously (F test). Prior to the analysis process has been tested intrument with validity and reliability. Results of this study were: 1) the transformational leadership style has no effect on work motivation of educators in Mercu Buana University; 2) Training effect on work motivation of educators in Mercu Buana University; 3) transformational leadership style and training of education personnel motivation to work directly and indirectly in Mercu Buana University; 4) transformational leadership style of the performance of educators at Mercu Buana University; 5) Training of educational personnel in the performance of Mercu Buana University; 6) transformational leadership style and training of education personnel performance both directly and indirectly in Mercu Buana University; 7) To analyze the effect of motivation on the performance of work at the University of Mercu Buana.

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the sale of paper and printing machines which will increase greatly in paper demand is increasing every year. therefore the employee's performance is an important factor in increasing the sales of the company so that it can compete with other competitors. To maintain the necessary motivation employee performance so employees can work maximal.This purpose of study was to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style, communication on the motivation and impact on employee performance PT. XYZ. The population used in this study were all employees of PT. XYZ, Tangerang Cipondoh many as 43 people. The analysis technique used is the path analysis (path analysis) .Data obtained from questionnaires distributed to all employees PT. XYZ totaling 43 people to measure transformational leadership style, communication on the motivation and performance of employees by using a Likert scale. From the analysis of the data obtained showed that the Transformational leadership style, communication to motivation and significant influence simultaneously on employee performance.

This research aims to determine how the influence of, transformational leadership style on job satisfaction, extrinsic motivation on job satisfaction,both of transformational leadership style and extrinsic motivation to job satisfaction.This type of research is quantitative research, research variables are transformational leadership style (X1), extrinsic motivation (X2) and job satisfaction (Y). The population in this research were all permanent employees from PT. Andi Dwi Haryanto Tunas Merapi Wonogiri totaling 41 people and also used as theresearch sample. Data sources used in this research are primary data. Data collection methods in this researchwere using form of questionnaires. Using multiple regression analysis techniques. Which is supported by hypothesis testing, F test and by passing the classic assumption test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test.Based on the results of the research there is a significant positive effect between transformational leadership style and extrinsic motivation on job satisfaction. In this research, transformational leadership style (X1) has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction (Y). And extrinsic motivation (X2) has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction.Keywords: transformational leadership style , extrinsic motivation , job satisfaction

This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of transformational leadership style of the effectiveness of employee performance in PHC Sidomulyo Pekanbaru, Based on Law No. 23 of 1992 on Health which emphasizes the importance of improving the quality of health services, especially the level community health centers in the form of health care cost and quality, this study used survey method with quantitative approach. Primary data were collected by distributing questionnaires to the entire population of the research sample numbering 50 employees Sidomulyo Pekanbaru City Health Center data analysis using simple linear regression by using SPSS program to see the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of data analysis showed there was a positive and significant influence transformational leadership style with health center staff performance effectiveness Sidomulyo western city of Pekanbaru. This is indicated by tcount amounted to 1,750 with p = 0.000 <0.05. note that the value of R2 (Rsquare) amounted to 0,702. This means that the influence of transformational leadership style of the effectiveness of the performance of employees amounted to 70.2% positive and significant effect of transformational leadership style with employee performance demonstrated the effectiveness of leadership style is suitable to be applied in the health centers. The functioning of transformational leadership on improving the effectiveness of performance based leadership efforts to provide motivation to improve performance in working as part of the organization so that employees develop performance by jointly realize the objectives of the organization.

The purpose of this research is (1) to know how much influence of motivation to job satisfaction, (2) to know how big influence of transformational leadership style to job satisfaction (3) to know how big influence of organizational culture to job satisfaction, (4) (5) to find out how big influence of leadership style of trasnformasional to employee performance, (6) to know how big influence of organizational culture to employee performance, (7) to know how big influence collectively between variable On employee performance with through job satisfaction variable. Respondents in this study as many as 115 people, the respondents are employees CV. Sinar Jaya Tegal. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which is run through AMOS program as its analysis tool. The result of data analysis proved that motivation influence to job satisfaction by 32% while for the transformational leadership style to job satisfaction get 6% and for organizational culture have no effect to job satisfaction is proved with minus value equal to (-14%). And for the relationship of motivation to employee performance have significant influence with 34%, transformational leadership style to employee performance have significant influence with value 17%, and for organizational culture to employee performance have significant influence with 4% and to influence collectively between motivation, Transformational leadership style and organizational culture to employee performance where through job satisfaction fulfillment got influence 39%, and the rest influenced by other factors which not in carefully in this research.  Keywords:  Motivation, Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture, Job Satisfaction, Employee Performance
