This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership style and training on motivation and its implications on the performance of both partially and simultaneously. Data collected through survey method and instrument questioner analysis to be distributed to the units of Mercu Buana University academic staff of 126 educators. Research analysis method is descriptive method and quantitative verification tool path analysis (path analysis) was then forwarded to the analysis of determination (R2), partial hypothesis test (t test) and test hypotheses simultaneously (F test). Prior to the analysis process has been tested intrument with validity and reliability. Results of this study were: 1) the transformational leadership style has no effect on work motivation of educators in Mercu Buana University; 2) Training effect on work motivation of educators in Mercu Buana University; 3) transformational leadership style and training of education personnel motivation to work directly and indirectly in Mercu Buana University; 4) transformational leadership style of the performance of educators at Mercu Buana University; 5) Training of educational personnel in the performance of Mercu Buana University; 6) transformational leadership style and training of education personnel performance both directly and indirectly in Mercu Buana University; 7) To analyze the effect of motivation on the performance of work at the University of Mercu Buana.

This research was conducted at the Spazzio Kuta Bali hotel using saturated samples of 35 employees. Furthermore, the collected data was analyzed using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of this study conclude that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation, where the better the application of transformational leadership is ensured also the higher the level of motivation of work held by employees. Transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, where if transformational leadership goes well and effectively it can have an effect on improving employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, where if the higher the work motivation of the employee, the higher the level of employee performance. Work motivation is positively and significantly able to mediate transformational leadership style towards employee performance, that is if the applied leadership style can precisely direct organizational goals with individual needs, the higher the motivation of the subordinates which will further improve their performance. This study aims to determine the principal's transformational leadership style used by SMP Negeri 2 Medan and the Performance of Teachers. The population in this study were all teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Medan. As a sample taken the entire study population using total sampling techniques. From the results of the study note that there is a positive relationship between the principal's transformational leadership style with the performance of teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Medan in the amount of rxy = 0.471 > 0.266. So from the hypothesis test results above it can be said that there is a relationship between Work Motivation and Teacher Job Satisfaction in An-Nizam Islamic Elementary School, where robserve > rtable (0.471 > 0.266) hypothesis is accepted with the meaning Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected if r observe < rtable. This level of relationship is included in the Medium level relationship interval.

The problem studied in this research is not yet optimal performance of teachers in SMK Bina Warga Kota Bandung. It is marked by the achievement of teacher performance in its realization not yet in accordance with the planned target which is caused by not optimal of headmaster leadership. This study consists of two variables: the principal transformational leadership style (X) and teacher performance (Y). The purpose of this study is to obtain a description of the transformational leadership style of the principal, to get an idea of the teacher's level of performance, and to see if there is any effect of the headmaster's transformational leadership style on teacher performance. The method used in this research is eksplanatory survey method. Technique of collecting data by way of dispersion of questionnaire with likert scale model, which is analyzed using simple regression. Its population is 52 teachers in SMK Bina Warga Kota Bandung. Data analysis technique used is simple linear regression test. Based on the results of the research, it is found that the headmaster's transformational leadership style is in the effective category and the teacher's performance is in the medium category. Furthermore, the data obtained is linear patterned. From the result of hypothesis test, it is found that the transformational leadership style of principal has a positive effect on teacher performance in SMK Bina Warga Kota Bandung.ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya kinerja guru di SMK Bina Warga Kota Bandung. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan pencapaian kinerja guru dalam realisasinya belum sesuai dengan target yang direncanakan yang disebabkan oleh belum optimalnya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah (X) dan kinerja guru (Y). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai adanya gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, memperoleh gambaran mengenai adanya tingkat kinerja guru, dan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksplanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara penyebaran angket dengan model skala likert, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Populasinya yaitu 52 orang guru di SMK Bina Warga Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berada pada kategori efektif dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori sedang. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh berpola linier. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Bina Warga Kota Bandung.

The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style, work motivation and discipline to employee performance at PT Berkah Makmur. This research is a kind of causal associative research which is obligatory for relationship relation between one variable with other variable or the like. The population in this study are employees who work in PT Berkah Makmur. Sampling method using saturated sampling technique with the number of samples of 32 respondents. Primary data were collected through questionnaires, secondary data. Data analysis method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis method with multiple linier regression analysis technique. The result of hypothesis test show that transformational leadership style and work motivation have no effect on employee performance in Koperasi Berkah Makmur, but discipline to employee performance in Koperasi Berkah Makmu. Determination coefficient test shows 813% employee performance can be explained by the variables of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and discipline, while the remaining 18.7% is explained by other factors not included in this study

The number of respondents taken in this study were 52 respondentsusing probability sampling. This study uses a survey method using a quantitative approach.The analytical tool used in this study is multiple regression analysis with SPSS software.Based on the conclusion that transformational leadership style and intrinsic motivation havea positive effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable.

Purpose This paper aims to deal with a study aimed at clarifying the relationship between the dimensions of the perceived transformational leadership style and work motivation in a sample of female employees. Design/methodology/approach A total of 168 Lithuanian employees participated in the empirical study. Work motivation was assessed using the work extrinsic and intrinsic motivation scale (Tremblay et al., 2009). The perceived transformational leadership style was assessed with the help of the transformational leadership inventory (Podsakoff et al., 1990). Findings The results revealed that both intrinsic and extrinsic work motivation of female employees was enhanced when the leader was perceived as a person articulating the vision of the future, providing an appropriate role model, fostering the acceptance of group goals and applying intellectual stimulation. High-performance expectations of the transformational leader lead to an increased level of women’s extrinsic motivation. Originality/value This study contributes to the limited empirical research into the role of discrete dimensions of transformational leadership in determining both intrinsic and extrinsic work motivation of female employees.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the influence of transformationalleadership style, individual characteristics, work environment on work motivation and teacherperformance. The study was conducted at State Vocational School Tambelangan 1 , SampangRegency, with 40 teachers as respondents. Data collected with survey methode and questionnaireis as instrument. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuktikan adanya pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja, secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama, terhadap kinerja guru SD negeri di Kecamatan Comal Kabupaten Pemalang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan survey yang bersifat explanatory. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert yang telah teruji keabsahannya terbukti valid dan stabil. Pengujian prasarat analisis yang meliputi uji normalitas, multikolinearitas, heteroskedasitas, dan linearitas menunjukkan persyaratan telah terpenuhi. Hasil uji F hitung 120,311 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05, berarti ada pengaruh signifikan dan positif gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Dari uji parsial, diperoleh nilai signifikansi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional 0,001, motivasi kerja 0,000, dan kepuasan kerja 0,000< 0,05, berarti gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja masing-masing berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja guru. Hal ini menunjukkan semua hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima, artinya ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama, terhadap kinerja guru.AbstractThis study aims to prove the influence of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the performance of elementary school teachers in Comal District, Pemalang Regency. This is a quantitative study using a cross sectional approach and an explanatory survey. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and is proven valid and stable. The results of the analysis prerequisite test including normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity show that the requirements have been fulfilled. The result of the F test count is 120.311 with a significance value of 0.000<0.05, meaning that there is a significant and positive effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction on teacher performance. Partial test shows that the significance value of transformational leadership style is 0.001, work motivation is 0.000, and job satisfaction is 0.000<0.05, meaning that transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction have a significant and positive effect on teacher performance, respectively. It shows that all hypotheses in this study are acceptable, which means that there is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the teachers’ performance.

Role-based performance covers not only the scope of job but also aspects of employee work behaviour involved in performance. Aims: The present study therefore examined influence of transformational leadership style and employee engagement on role-based performance. Study Design: The study adopted a correlational research design. Place and Duration of Study: Government Ministries and Parastatals in Jos, capital of Plateau State, Nigeria. October 2016 to June 2017. Methodology: Using survey method in which 137 civil servants were purposively drawn as participants. Their age range was from 28 to 65 years with 74 (54%) male participants and 63 (46%) female participants. This study utilised role theory and personal engagement theory, while standardised psychological scales which are role-based performance scale, multifactor leadership questionnaire and intellectual social affective engagement scale were used. Data collected were analysed using regression analysis. Results: The findings indicated that transformational leadership style significantly explained 35% variance in role-based performance. Employee engagement significantly explained 22.9% variance in role-based performance. Conclusion: There is significant influence of transformational leadership style on role-based performance of civil servants. There is significant influence of employee engagement on role-based performance of civil servants.

This study aims to determine “Effect Transformational Leadership Style, Work Motivation, And Job Satisfaction Where Performance Dinas Energi Dan Sumber Daya Mineral Provinsi Sumatera Barat by the respondents as many as 90 (ninety) people. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to the entire population that can be used for analysis. Hypothesis testing is performed using data analysis techniques through multiple regression.The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that of the three independent variables, transformational leadership style, work motivation and job satisfaction significant effect on performance (the dependent variable). The magnitude of the effect of variable Transformational Leadership Style, Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction of the performance variable (dependent variable) amounted to 60.2% or the value of R Square of 0.602 remaining 39.2% is influenced by other variables not included in this study model.
