This paper aims to find the effort of internalizing competence and entrepreneurial character of student in Satya Wacana Christian Elementary School and Juniour High School. The method used is a qualitative study through interview, observation and documentation, using data analysis from Spradley by analyzing of domain and its semanctical relation. The results showed that the internalization of entrepreneurial competence and character had been applied through leadership activities so as to form the character and leadership skills of students. This study has implications for the school's efforts to give full attention for students to play a role in leadership activities and to provide support through a curriculum that supports the internalization of entrepreneurial competence and character. Keywords: Entrepreneurial competence, Entrepreneurial character, Entrepreneurship education, Student leadership, Elementary levels.

Philanthropy is not limited to loving others related to the economic field, such as zakat, infaq, alms, waqf or others. This study aims to inventory the spirit of Islamic philanthropy in Max Weber's social actions, especially in the act of rationality of values from the behavior of the congregation of Majelis Ratib Atthos Palangka Raya. This study is a qualitative study using data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. Data analysis was performed using qualitative procedures. The results of this study found the behavior of the assemblies in the form of social actions of value rationality carried out with the spirit of Islamic philanthropy.

Abstract Geometry is a branch of mathematics that is taught in school, from elementary school, high school and college. Student Mathematics Education Kuningan University in the course Geometry 3D which gained less than satisfactory achievements in the course of the geometry 3D. The ability visual thinking and spatial thinking affect learners' achievements in learning the geometry. Authors interested in diagnosing the difficulties Student Mathematics Education of Kuningan University in the course Geometry 3D through Ability Test of Visual-Spatial Thinking. The purpose of this study is to diagnose visual-spatial thinking abilities Student of Kuningan University and describe efforts to improve student results in the course of the geometry 3D. Based on the exposure of the work about the ability of visual-spatial thinking and discussion it can be concluded that: a) The ability of visual-spatial thinking mathematics education student Kuningan University is still low, especially students who are capable of moderate and low. Students are still experiencing difficulties in resolving problems related to the concept of a perpendicular line and projections; distance of points, lines and areas; as well as the angle between the line and the field; b) The ability of visual-spatial thinking is a skill that must be developed in studying the geometry 3D, one of the low result of learning the geometry 3D is due to the ability of visual-spatial thinking is still low; c) One effort to improve visual-spatial thinking ability of students is learning the geometry of space through problem-based learning with assisted software GeoGebra.Keywords: Visual-Spatial Thinking Ability, Geometri 3D

The aim of this study was to explore the role of teachers’ Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) as motivator in political education. The research was conducted at State of Senior High School 1 (SMAN 1) and State of Senior of High School 10 (SMAN 10) at Padang City. This research had employed a qualitative research with comparative studies. The data were analyzed using data analysis techniques, data presentation, and concluding. The validity of the data was tested by source triangulation. The result showed that the role of Teachers’ Pancasila and Civic Education not only educating the character of the nation's generation but emphasize the role of Teachers’ Pancasila and Civic Education as motivators in political education. Where the teacher as a motivator plays a role to give encouragement, enthusiasm, and intelligence to students in understanding political education. This qualitative study explored advisers' perspectives on teaching leadership. This study identified the significant need for the role of leadership in scholastic journalism programs. Advisers illustrated soft skills provide many opportunities for students to grow into leaders. The leadership skills provide advisers opportunities to articulate their passion and genuine convictions with their students. This current study focused on editorial leadership practices in high school journalism news labs for a clearer understanding of how advisers utilize many leadership practices. The findings will benefit high school journalism teachers to develop leadership for effective production, encourage creativity, and foster decision making. Thus, leadership skills are important in journalism education.

<p>The purpose of this study is to improve the student’s achievement in gymnastic floor of crooked legs forward rolling in X-4 Senior High School Kebakkramat in academic year 2016/2017.<br />This research is classroom action research that was done in two cycles, each cycles consist of two meetings. Subject of this research is the students of X-4 grade that consisted of 36 students. The data’s source collecting from the students, teachers, and the researcher. Techniques of data’s collection used test and observation. Data validity using data triangulation technique. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis technique with percentage technique. The result of data analysis showed there is improvement of student’s learning outcomes in gymnastic floor of crooked legs forward rolling. In pracycles the precentage of the completness is 41,67% or 15 students, not completed yet 58,33% or 21 students. In first cycles the precentage of the completness is 63,88% or 23 students, not completed yet 36,11% or 13 students. In second cycles the percentage of the completness is 83,33% or 30 students, not completed yet 16,66% or 6 students. The learning result of gymnastic floor crooked legs of forward rolling has been reached according the expectation in second cycles with minimum criteria 75 Based on result analysis above we get the conclusion that the implementation of example non example improved the result learning of forward rolling of crooked legs in students of Senior High School Kebakkramat academic year 2016/2017.</p>

This era could be named as “National and International Exams Era”. Exams can be produced test anxiety and it affects physical, social, cognitive, behavioral and psychological conditions of a person. High expectations on exam’s score, family’s high expectations that above a student’ cognitive talents, ineffective study styles and fear of being connected between IQ level of a student with the exam’s score lead to anxiety. University entrance exams are perceived as the final exams in adolescence’s life, which is the most important predictor of one’s profession. In this qualitative study, semi-structured interview question form was developed and in total of 30 vocational high school students enrolled in 12th grade voluntarily participated in the study. One theme was emerged: Teachers’ effect. Four categories were named as University entrance exams, Elementary school, Counseling, and Demands. Codes for first category are metaphors and time management. For Elementary school category one code was emerged: Lack of pre-requisite learning. The third category is named as Counseling Unit and it has three codes: Lack of  psychological support, High expectations of families, and low expectations of teachers. The fourth category is Demands: Giving information in the high school education process, and Needs for younger teachers. The results showed that various expectations exist from counseling department in a high school such as letting parents know the real cognitive skills of their child, providing open communication between teachers and students, offering vocational guidance starting from 9th grade. Extended English abstract is in the end of Full Text PDF (TURKISH) file. ÖzetYaşadığımız çağı “Sınavlar Çağı” olarak isimlendirebiliriz. Sınavlar bireylerde kaygıya neden olmakta, fiziksel, sosyal, bilişsel, davranışsal ve psikolojik durumunu etkilemektedir. Sınav sonuçlarıyla ilgili yüksek beklenti, ailelerin çocuklarının yeteneklerinin çok üstünde bilişsel yetenek sergilemelerini beklemeleri, etkisiz çalışma stilleri, zekâ seviyeleri sınav başarıları arasında bağlantı kuran insanların varlığı endişeye neden olmaktadır. Bir ergenin hayatında en önemli sınav, gelecekte mesleğini belirleyecek olan üniversiteye giriş sınavlarıdır. Bu nitel çalışmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu geliştirilmiş, toplam 30 onikinci sınıf meslek lisesi öğrencisi gönüllü olarak bu çalışmaya katılmıştır. Görüşmelerde elde edilen verilerin analizi sonucunda 1 tema ortaya çıkmıştır: Öğretmen etkisi. Dört kategori Üniversiteye giriş sınavı, İlköğretim, Psikolojik danışmanlık ve rehberlik birimi ve İstekler olarak isimlendirilmiştir. Metaforlar ve zaman yönetimi ilk kategoriyi oluşturan kodlardır. İlköğretim kategorisinde Temel bilgilerin olmaması kodu belirlenmiştir. Üçüncü kategori Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik Birimi (pdr) kategorisinde üç kod belirlenmiştir: Bireysel psikolojik destek olmayışı, Ailelerin yüksek beklentisi ve öğretmenlerin düşük beklentisi ortaya çıkan kodlardır. Dördüncü kategori İstekler olarak isimlendirilmiş ve Süreçte bilinçlendirme ve Genç öğretmenlerin olması isteklerinin olduğu kodlar ortaya çıkmıştır. PDR servisinden çok farklı beklentilerin olduğu bu çalışmanın bulguları arasındadır. Ailelerin gerçekçi bir değerlendirme yetisi geliştirmelerine yardımcı olmak, öğretmen ve öğrenciler arasında açık bir iletişim tarzı sağlamak ve 9. Sınıftan başlayarak mesleki rehberlik hizmeti sunulması beklentiler arasındadır.

This study discusses how to manage an administrative school in RA Arrafif Tirtomartani Kalasan Sleman, the next method used in this study is a qualitative study describing how to manage an administration school in RA Arrafif Tirtomartani Kalasan Sleman. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and documentation, then data analysis in this study uses miles and huberman data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on data collection and analysis conducted on research findings on school administration management in RA Arrafif Tirtomartani Kalasan Sleman, while the results of this study include seven school administrations that manage well such as 1) school administration, 2) class administration, 3) student administration, 4) financial administration, 5) headmaster administration, 6) staffing administration, 7) administration of inventory, but there are some things that still lack.

The purpose of this study is to analyze students' psychological dispositions about student learning anxiety and happiness on the level of education. Elementary school, Junior high school and Senior High School students in the city of Cirebon were the subjects in this study. Mixed methods research with a sequential transformative strategy model was chosen to answer the problem of this research. Through a stratified random sampling technique, two types of research data were obtained; quantitative and qualitative data. Both of these data were analyzed by two data analysis techniques. Quantitative data analysis used is chi-square and contingency correlation, while qualitative data analysis uses triangulation of data sources. The results showed that there were differences in the level of mathematics anxiety and learning happiness of students at each level of education. Senior High School students have a high level of math anxiety when compared to elementary and Junior high school students. While in terms of happiness learn, students the elementary school is happier learning when compared to the other two types of students. This condition is also strengthened by the existence of a significant relationship between mathematics anxiety and happiness learn student with the level of education
