The aim of this study was to explore the role of teachers’ Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) as motivator in political education. The research was conducted at State of Senior High School 1 (SMAN 1) and State of Senior of High School 10 (SMAN 10) at Padang City. This research had employed a qualitative research with comparative studies. The data were analyzed using data analysis techniques, data presentation, and concluding. The validity of the data was tested by source triangulation. The result showed that the role of Teachers’ Pancasila and Civic Education not only educating the character of the nation's generation but emphasize the role of Teachers’ Pancasila and Civic Education as motivators in political education. Where the teacher as a motivator plays a role to give encouragement, enthusiasm, and intelligence to students in understanding political education. Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study was to determine the role of teacher communication in early childhood. Methodology: This research is descriptive qualitative research. The methods used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation, for data analysis using: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification, in checking the data through credibility, transformability, and conformability. Main Findings: From the results of the overall findings can researchers conclude that the role of teachers, parents with children often occur imbalances or "miscommunication" so unwittingly the negative impacts arise when the child is out of the house or at school. This condition can look into the child itself introspection, because by knowing yourself then the child will be easy to know other people. Applications of this study: This research was conducted in Jombang City, with the consideration that PIAUDBina Karya is located in Jombang City. Novelty/Originality of this study: give to the child to communicate as widely as possible, order to be able and dare to express an opinion according to their age.

Tujuan dari penelitian kualitatif ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi barisan ditinjau dari Adversity Quotient (AQ). Kemampuan pemecahan masalah memiliki 4 indikator yaitu: 1) mengidentifikasi masalah, 2) merumuskan masalah, 3) melaksanakan strategi, dan 4) memverifikasi solusi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 Siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Kesatrian 1 Semarang yang telah diajarkan materi barisan. Kemudian dipilih subjek berdasarkan tipe AQ yaitu Climber, Camper dan Quitter. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket AQ, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa bertipe Climber mampu memenuhi seluruh indikator dari 4 indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah yaitu indikator 1, 2, 3, dan 4. Siswa bertipe Camper mampu memenuhi 3 dari 4 indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah yaitu indikator 1, 2, dan 3. Siswa bertipe Quitter hanya mampu memenuhi 1 indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah yaitu indikator 2. Analysis of students' problem-solving abilities in solving word problem sequence in terms of adversity quotientAbstractThe purpose of this qualitative research was to describe the students' problem-solving abilities in solving word problems in the sequences material in terms of Adversity Quotient (AQ). Problem-solving has four indicators namely: 1) overcoming the problem, 2) formulating the problem, 3) implementing the strategy, and 4) verifying the solution. The study was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The research subjects consisted of 30 students of class XI IPA 1 of Kesatrian 1 Semarang High School who had taught the sequences material. Then the subject was chosen based on the type of AQ namely climber, camper and quitter. Data collection techniques using the AQ questionnaire, the problem-solving test, and interview. The data analysis techniques of this study include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that students of the climber type were able to meet all the indicators of the four indicators of problem-solving namely indicators 1, 2, 3, and 4. Students of the camper type were able to fulfill three from four indicators of problem-solving namely indicators 1, 2, and 3. Students' quitter type were only able to meet one indicator of problem-solving, namely indicator 2.

This study aims to describe the role of teachers as educators in developing the discipline character of students in class IV A 01 Kota Bengkulu Elementary School. This type of research is qualitative research, with descriptive research methods. The subjects of the study were the principal, grade IV A teachers, and grade IV A students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed by data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data using extended observations, increasing perseverance and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the role of the teacher as an educator in developing the character of student discipline has been carried out in class IV A. The role of the teacher in developing the character of student discipline consists of as motivators, facilitators and evaluators. As a motivator the teacher has given encouragement to students to always be disciplined in the classroom, as a facilitator the teacher has provided the facilities needed by students to develop the character of their discipline and as an evaluator the teacher has also conducted an evaluation to see the extent of the development of the discipline character of students in the class.

This study aimed at determining the role of teachers and principals in improving the quality of learning in elementary school of Pulau Rimau. The sample in this study were 40 teachers from Pulau Rimau. The data were collected using 1) interviews, 2) observations, and 3) documentation. Research data analysis techniques include 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) data verification. The results showed that teachers and principals have a role in improving the quality of education of SD Negeri in Pulau Rimau.

ABSTRACTThis research discussed about the participation of youth in defending the country and its influence to the regional resilience at the Klaten Regency. This research used qualitative research method, object the research was the youth’s participation to defending the country and its implications to the regional resilience. The method of collecting data were interview, observation, literature study, documentation study, and online page search. Data analysis techniques in this study using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that Former Flag Raisers of Indonesia, Klaten Regency had of participate in activity to defending the country in the Klaten Regency. The participation performed by four models activities, namely model of ideological activity, model of social interaction activity, competition between Paskibra, and model of acting activity. It’s participation gave the comprehension about defending the country, awareness about defending the country, and commitment about defending the country. The participation of Youth to defending the country had influences for the regional resilience at the Klaten Regency with criteria that included aspects of ideology, politic, social and cultural, and defense and security. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas tentang partisipasi pemuda dalam kegiatan bela negara dan pengaruhnya terhadap ketahanan wilayah Kabupaten Klaten. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini memfokuskan kajiannya pada partisipasi pemuda dalam kegiatan bela negara dan pengaruhnya terhadap ketahanan wilayah didaerah Klaten, Jawa Tengah. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, studipustaka, studi dokumentasi, dan penelusuran laman online. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Purna Paskibraka Indonesia telah berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam kegiatan bela negara di Kabupaten Klaten. Partisipasi tersebut dilakukan melalui 4 (empat) model kegiatan yaitu kegiatan yang bersifat ideologis, kegiatan yang bersifat interaksi sosial, kegiatan kejuaraan antar Paskibra, dan kegiatan bersifat aksi. Partisipasi tersebut memberikan pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai berbangsa dan bernegara yang kemudian memberikan kesadaran terhadap kewajiban bela negara, dan menyatakan komitmennya terhadap bela negara. Partisipasi pemuda dalam kegiatan bela negara ini berpengaruh terhadap ketahanan wilayah Kabupaten Klaten terutama dalam konteks penguatan ideologi, katahanan politik, sosial dan budaya budaya serta memperkokoh aspek pertahanan dan keamanan.

The Objective of this research is to determine the role of teachers in counseling guidance dealing with students who are victims by risak at SMA Negeri 4 Palu. This research is classified as qualitative research, and the data were described both in written and spoken. This research was conducted in order to see the role of counseling guidance teacher in overcoming the risak victims at SMA Negeri 4 Palu. Furthermore, the data collection methods used in this reasearch are observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. This study was conducted to check the validity of the data using trigulation techniques.

Abstract: This study aims to understand: 1) What is the role of the teacher as a guide in improving the morale of young children in kindergarten IT Qurrota A'yun Ponorogo; and 2) What is the role of the teacher as an educator in improving the morale of young children in kindergarten IT Qurrota A 'Yun Ponorogo. The research used is qualitative research. This type of research is a case study. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques taken by the concept proposed by Miles and Huberman are data reduction, data presentation, and discussed conclusions. The results showed that: 1). In accordance with the preconventional morality of children who do not comply with the rules, they are subject to punishment, such as children who argue without reason, the way the teacher reminds them is by singing; 2). Children are born in good condition, so that learning is requested to be processed by being carried out, carried out, and evaluated and then poured into RPPH.

Community participation is the main asset in achieving the government's program goals. This study aims to determine community participation in development at Baringeng Village, Soppeng regency. Therefore, to find out the objectives of this study, the researcher used descriptive qualitative research. The informants in this study were (7 peoples) using data collection techniques that were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained from the research results were processed using data analysis techniques consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that community participation in development at Baringeng village, Soppeng regency was in the high category. This can be viewed from several indicators, including thought participation, energy participation, property participation, skills participation, and social participation.

Violence cannot be separated from the role of humans as the perpetrators. One of the many cultural activities owned by Madurese tribe in Kaliboto Kidul, Jatiroto, Lumajang is carok, a deeply rooted culture that has become a tradition. Inspired by A Latief Wiyata's thoughts, the problem that will be raised in this research is how the role of local ulama to resolve such problem. This study employs qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Its orientation is to understand the meaning of the indications and phenomena that occur in Kaliboto Kidul, Jatiroto, Lumajang. In the process of retrieving data, researchers uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study shows that carok in this area is described as an attempt to kill each other which is committed by men using sharp weapons in the form of celurit. The causing issues are self-esteem harassment, inheritance and revenge actions. Key words: Ulama, Carok, and Criminal Law

This study aims at determining the performance of religious education teachers in Aliyah Madrasas on Nunukan Island, North Kalimantan, and increasing the role of performance of religious education teachers in carrying out their duties to Aliyah Madrasas on Nunukan Island, North Kalimantan. This type of research is qualitative research located on Nunukan Island, North Kalimantan. Methods of data collection are carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis carried out was data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Then the data validity is tested by observation and triangulation.The results showed that performance of religious education teachers in the Aliyah Madrasah on Nunukan Island in North Kalimantan is relatively good. However, it still needs to be improved, especially in terms of discipline, ability in the preparation of components of learning devices, as well as the ability to use learning media. 2) Teacher education strategies to improve their performance by conducting continuous evaluations, supervising and evaluating administration, 3) Supporting factors for the performance of religious education teachers, namely a conducive learning atmosphere, harmonious relationships, the ability of the headmaster to motivate teachers. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of facilities and infrastructure needed by religious education teachers, small and minimal income.
