Nowadays, the shifting of technology and the internet that has an effect on changing consumption patterns, impacted social lifestyle, is a hedonic and leisure prioritize lifestyle. The lifestyle gives a negative impact to the behaviour of millennial generation especially to their consumption behaviour.  Parents and teachers have an important role to teach them early about financial education so they have prevention to the consumptive lifestyle. The Financial Mana­gement Programme of Petra Christian University has cooperated with some Early Childhood School and Kindergarten to teach the children about financial education using Education games. Financial education could easily be learned through education games so the children could understand about saving behaviour and spending wisely. The children responded positively to the lesson through education games. The parents and teacher could teach the children easily and efficiently about saving attitude and spending wisely using the education games.   Abstrak: Perubahan pola konsumsi yang disebabkan oleh kemajuan internet dan teknologi yang begitu pesat dibandingkan tahun-tahun sebelumnya berdampak pada gaya hidup masyarakat yaitu gaya hidup yang mengutamakan kemewahan dan kesenangan semata. Gaya hidup tersebut memberikan dampak negatif terutama pada perilaku konsumsi generasi milenial saat ini. Orang tua dan tenaga pendidik memiliki peran penting untuk memberikan edukasi keuangan sejak dini supaya perilaku konsumtif tersebut dapat dihindarkan. Program Manajemen Keuangan Universitas Kristen Petra mengadakan kegiatan pengabdian masya­rakat kepada PAUD dan TK yang telah bekerja sama untuk memberikan edukasi keuangan kepada anak-anak TK melalui penggunaan Alat Permainan Edukasi (APE) Keuangan yang dapat membantu anak-anak belajar mengenai tema menabung dan hidup hemat. Anak-anak TK memberikan respon yang baik terhadap pembelajaran melalui alat permainan tersebut. Para orang tua dan pendidik dapat menggunakan APE Keuangan untuk mengajar­­kan anak-anak mengenai kebiasaan menabung dan hidup hemat dengan mudah dan efisien.

AbstractThe importance of Early Childhood (EC) educators’ wellbeing has been brought into sharp focus during the COVID-19 pandemic, as educators have navigated numerous additional stressors while providing education and care services for some children and ongoing support for many others learning at home. This study aimed to explore the impact of the pandemic on EC educators’ wellbeing and educator-child relationships, as growing evidence shows the influence of these factors on children’s developmental outcomes.In July 2020, members of a Research Network of EC Professionals—who previously identified educator wellbeing as a priority issue—were invited to participate in an online survey. The survey included two published, validated scales: the Early Childhood Professional Wellbeing scale (ECPW) and the Student–Teacher Relationship Scale (modified). Survey items about educators’ experiences during the pandemic were also included. Two hundred and thirty-two EC educators from across Australia completed the survey, mostly from Victoria where lockdowns were most severe. Linear regression analysis demonstrated stronger professional wellbeing was associated with less conflict in educator-child relationships and lower risk of staff turnover. This was more likely to be experienced by senior or more experienced staff. Although a negative impact of COVID-19 was reported, ECPW scores were relatively high, and organizational structures supporting professional wellbeing were most strongly associated with lower risk of turnover (r = 0.63, p < 0.001). Findings highlight that supporting EC educators’ wellbeing is essential for workforce retention, and for promoting quality educator-child relationships which are central to young children’s learning and development.

In their roles as purchasers, users and dischargers of used products, consumers play an important role in the circular economy. In this article, we put forward a ‘hierarchy of consumption behaviour’ to support European Union policymaking. Among the priorities are avoiding the purchase of single-use and unnecessary products, prolonging the lifetime of products through maintenance and engaging in repair activities. Moreover, the hierarchy intends to privilege sharing and leasing to buying and second-hand products to new ones. Finally, consumption in the circular economy also requires allowing products to re-circulate. Changing consumption patterns is difficult insofar as they are largely determined by the paradigm upon which our economy is built and are enabled by the existing legal framework, most notably European Union consumer law. The article contains concrete recommendations to develop European Union law and promote the proposed hierarchy.

The existence of COVID-19 which still hit Indonesia until in November 2020 had a negative impact on education in Indonesia, especially early childhood education. This makes learning, which was a face-to-face system, must be changed to distance education. In order for learning to continue optimally, of course, the teacher must be able to apply different learning strategies. In the pandemic era, schools implement online learning strategies, including at the Playgroup level. Online learning for children, of course, presents its challenges for the teachers. This study aims to investigate online learning strategies at the playgroup level. Play is also a means for children to channel their great energy and discover new things that were previously unknown in a fun way. And this is certainly different from learning that is understood by adults with all the rules and demands at the end. Playing (while learning) in early childhood has a purpose that adults may not realize, where when a child plays, in fact he is developing the potential that exists within him to become a solid initial capital for himself in the future when facing problems in life. This paper is expected to provide references and education to parents and early childhood teachers in particular to be able to understand the world of early childhood, one of which is by understanding the nature of play and the meaning of play for early childhood. This is obtained by exploring various sources from several literatures from the results of research and thought where the results can be used for early childhood parents and teachers to be more precise in assisting and designing learning for early childhood so that the pearl of early childhood learning, namely playing while learning can be achieved.

Scholaris is a portal of MEN agenda with educational electronic resources designated for teachers of all stages of education. The aim of the research was to identify the promoted model of digital early childhood education. An analysis of the content of portal showed a focus on technology being used to illustrate the content covered by the teaching program, limitation of openness to other communities and places on the internet, negligence of the communication between education entities and the hegemony of digital content for the teacher to reproduce. The digitality on the portal is seen as a visualsound enhancement of classes and the technical facilitation of the teacher’s work. In spite of the current innovative trends, the general model promoted on the website is seen as functional-behavioral.

AbstractIn this paper the language about Millennial Generation Information Search Behavior To Meet Information Needs. This study aims to describe the information seeking behavior of the millennial generation to meet the information needs of this study at the Padang State University. Data were collected through observation and distribution of questionnaires with students of the Indonesian and Regional Languages and Literature Department at Padang State University. Analyzing the data, concluded the following matters. (1). Starting - consists of activities that initiate information seeking activities. In general (100%) determine the topic especially before conducting an information search, in general (90%) conduct information search after discussion or consultation with lecturers, in general (95.23%) know the information needs when attending lectures, (88.4 %) know the information needs specifically, and in general (88%) do information when they are aware of and know the need for information. (2). Chaining - activities following a series of citations, citations or forms of reconciliation between documents with each other. In general (92.8 uses a bibliography to search information, generally (90.4%) use the author's name from the core reference to look for other references in conducting information searches, and in general (92.9%) use subjects from core reference to look for other references (3) Browsing - merawak, looking for, but rather directed, in areas that are considered to have the potential for the information needed.In general (73%) libraries can always meet information needs, in general In general (95.2%) look for information on the internet if the information you are looking for is not found in the printed source of information, (92.8%) generally directly looking for information on the internet if the information you need is not found in the printed source of information, at generally (45.22%) query identification (keywords). (4). Differentiating - sorting, using the features in the information source as a basic reference for checking quality or information content. in general (88%) the internet is the main source of information, in general (92.84%) The source of information printed is still very much needed in fulfilling information needs. (5). Monitoring - monitoring progress by focusing on selected sources. In general (88.09%) looked for the latest information through the internet by searching for the latest articles, in general (78.56%) needed to find the latest information to enrich the reference sources. (6). Extracting - systematically digging in one source to retrieve information that is considered important. In general (90.47 when you need information you often search the search engine (google, yahoo), in general (88.09 often uses a journal database to get information, in general (78.56%) after getting information on the internet , you directly copy the information, in general (76.19%) use the "Google" search engine because it is more relevant than other search engines.Keywords: behavior, millennial generation and information.

TRAINING OF RESOURCE LITERACY AND LEARNING MATERIALS ON THE INTERNET FOR PAUD TEACHERS IN NGAGLIK DISTRICT, SLEMAN. Learning media and resources are parts of Early Childhood Education instructional design. Nowadays, learning media and resources include not only natural environment but also cyber space in internet. However, some Early Childhood Education teachers are not aware of the potential of using these learning media and resources in their teaching practice. Therefore, an in-house training of learning media and resources literacy was designed for Early Childhood Education teachers in District of Ngaglik, Sleman Regency. This training was attended by Rumah Anak Pintar Islami and Smart Child Al-Mubarok Pre-Schools. The outcome of the training was better understanding on learning media and resources in the internet which the teachers can use in their teaching practice.

Purpose The lack of age-appropriate expectations for the acquisition of feeding skills and consumption of textured food in early childhood inhibits early and accurate identification of developmental delay in feeding and pediatric feeding disorder. The objective of this study was to describe texture intake patterns in a cohort of typically developing infants between 8 and 12 months of age, with the aim of informing future research to establish targets for feeding skill acquisition. Method Using cross-sectional methodology, we studied the presence of liquid and solid textures and drinking methods in the diet, consumption patterns by texture and drinking methods, and caloric intake by texture via caregiver questionnaire and 3-day dietary intake record in 63 healthy infants between 8 and 12 months of age. Descriptive statistics and a one-way analysis of variance were conducted to compare the effect of age on texture intake patterns. Results Findings reveal rapid advancement of intake patterns for texture overall and for energy intake by texture between 8 and 12 months of age. Whereas liquids continue to provide a large proportion of total energy through this time, solids contribute an equal proportion of energy by 12 months of age. Conclusions This study describes texture intake patterns in a cohort of typically developing infants between 8 and 12 months of age by examining the presence of texture and drinking methods, liquid and solid consumption patterns, and energy intake by texture. When applied to data from a future population sample, findings will provide a threshold for age expectations for typical and disordered feeding development to aid in the detection of developmental delay in feeding and pediatric feeding disorder. What Is Known: Expectations regarding early feeding development have been focused on nutrition parameters. Lack of standardized, age-appropriate expectations for texture progression in infancy and early childhood inhibits early and accurate identification and treatment of pediatric feeding disorder. What Is New: We have described changes in dietary composition by texture and drinking method in healthy infants. Together with nutritional composition, this study describes a more comprehensive assessment of infant feeding, particularly to clinicians who need to diagnose feeding skill deficits. Initially, the Internet and the media were invented to facilitate information and communication between people. Recently, information has become easily accessible and unverified, so its quality has begun to deteriorate every day. It can be noted that the literacy rate of the population is falling significantly. Many speech and grammatical errors are made not only by schoolchildren, but also by adults and educated people. There is concern about the impact of the Internet on the younger generation. Now, under the influence of mass communications, new priorities and values are emerging, and speech and its standards are changing. Our research has revealed that the Internet and the media have a negative impact on the speech of each generation. But most of all, children are affected by this, since they are the main users of the Internet and cannot select correct and verified information.

The use of technology to improve the health and nutrition outcomes of children has been improving in recent years with many resources available online. Additionally, the expansion and continued growth of the Internet allows a method of access to information that transcends the traditional geographical obstacles in providing educational resources to parents in rural communities. A review of research and resources online to support parents with early childhood development is presented. A challenge identified in use of technology is the “silo” mentality of resources and the integration of education, health, nutrition, and social well-being information as a single resource for parents. Based on the research a comprehensive resource model is presented that integrates essential maturational and academic development for children. Additionally, the use for improved metrics and their development is provided.

In the year 2012, a generation ago in digital technology, the person who generated the most internet searches in India was not a cricketer or a Bollywood star. Nor was it a politician or a religious figure. None of them were close. The person most Indians were curious about that year—as measured by the total number of Google searches—was Canadian-Indian Karenjit Kaur Vohra, a.k.a. Sunny Leone, a former porn star and Penthouse Pet of the Year. It wasn’t the case only in 2012. As hundreds of millions of Indians continued to discover the internet through 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and even 2017, Sunny Leone remained the most-searched-for person in India. People simply couldn’t get enough. (Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it to number two in 2014, the year he was elected, but Leone remained the clear favorite.) Prudish, conservative, family-values India . . . and a porn star? Leone was no longer even performing; she had stopped around 2010 and started her own production company with her husband and manager, Daniel Weber. In 2011, she came to India as a guest on the reality TV show Bigg Boss, a local version of the Big Brother franchise. Leone’s appearance was predictably controversial (by design, of course: it was good for the ratings). Although most Indians hadn’t heard of her, it didn’t take long for word to spread: “A porn star—from America—here in India?” At the time, parliamentarian Anurag Thakur complained to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, arguing that Leone’s presence on a nationally telecast program would “have a negative impact on the mindset of children.” Thakur added: “When children see these porn stars on TV and then do a Google search, it shows a vulgar site. It will have a bad impact in the long run.” There were no laws, however, to stop Leone from appearing on TV. While the production of pornography was officially illegal in India, Leone could justifiably argue she was no longer involved in the industry. She was trying to pivot to general entertainment.
