The real-space Green's function code FEFF has been extensively developed and used for calculations of X-ray and related spectra, including X-ray absorption (XAS), X-ray emission (XES), inelastic X-ray scattering, and electron energy-loss spectra. The code is particularly useful for the analysis and interpretation of the XAS fine-structure (EXAFS) and the near-edge structure (XANES) in materials throughout the periodic table. Nevertheless, many applications, such as non-equilibrium systems, and the analysis of ultra-fast pump–probe experiments, require extensions of the code including finite-temperature and auxiliary calculations of structure and vibrational properties. To enable these extensions, we have developed in tandem a new version FEFF10 and new FEFF-based workflows for the Corvus workflow manager, which allow users to easily augment the capabilities of FEFF10 via auxiliary codes. This coupling facilitates simplified input and automated calculations of spectra based on advanced theoretical techniques. The approach is illustrated with examples of high-temperature behavior, vibrational properties, many-body excitations in XAS, super-heavy materials, and fits of calculated spectra to experiment.

How to improve the efficiency and quality of software development is an ongoing concern in the field of software engineering. As a useful auxiliary function, code recommendation is embedded in almost all integrated development environments. There has been increasing interest and research in the area of code recommendation in recent years due to its convenience for project development. Existing research has made a lot of contributions to this field, but there are still many issues that need further study. One of the key points is the low success rate of recommendation. Focusing on this problem, this paper proposes a method to recommend Java source code after parsing massive amounts of source code information. We propose a new source code analysis algorithm for the scraped source code data. A source file is parsed into classes, methods, and attributes as recommendation objects. At the same time, the annotation information is bound to the annotated objects. Finally, the parsed information is indexed at the project, class, and method levels for code recommendations in a hierarchical recommendation manner. A code recommendation system is implemented by combining this with full-text retrieval technology for class library, class, and method level recommendation. The experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper has better performance in recommendation accuracy than existing code recommendation engines.

MODBUS is a serial communication protocol use in industry, which developed by Modicon in 1979. The most common usage of the MODBUS communication protocol is the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). The aim of this study is to develop a system for acquiring and analyze measured values from the power measuring device and display them on C# developed GUI. The main objective is to develop an algorithm for MODBUS RTU communication protocol for data acquisition process. In this study, a single power measuring device was used with the aid of MODBUS RTU and RS-485 communication protocols, and data shown in the device was visualized on the C# developed GUI application and analyze them according to the user’s requirement. Data acquisitions from the holding registers were made by using the MODBUS Function Code three. The test results were observed and verified accuracy by performing several trials. Data was collected from the power measuring device which was attached to the industrial soft starter panel of a milling machine. Voltage, Current, Total Harmonic Distortion and Power Factor for each phase were retrieved to the C# devolved computer application and verify results with the real-time data of the power measuring device.

This article is a continuation of one work to determine the optimal strategy of macro-replacement in the optimization program codes of C++. Macro-replacement for routines is to deploy the function code in all the places her call. The article describes the results of experiments to determine the factors affecting the speed of subroutines. Initially, it was believed that function call times are affected by the time the function stack is allocated and the time to transfer control to the function. In connection with the results of the experiment, it was established that the time for transfer of control is insignificant compared to the time of allocation of memory. The time that the stack memory of a function allocated depends on the amount of code and the number of stack objects used by the function. To optimize the speed of the program, you can use two variants of macro-replacement. The first is the use of a special C++ language modifier (in-line/__forceinline), and the second is a direct substitution of the code in the place of the call. There is almost no difference in the effectiveness of these methods, except that the programmer has to control the errors in the code substitution strategy. Therefore, the method of using a special modifier was chosen for experiments. Was selected modifier __forceinline, because in a typical inline, the compiler may ignore the programmer recommendations and not done macro-replacement, if the optimization algorithms of the compiler don't need it. And __forceinline is guaranteed to apply macro-replacement. In connection with the results obtained, it can be concluded that macro-replacement significantly increases the speed of the program but can lead to an increase in the size of the executable file.

The used of code-switching in learning Indonesian was an overview of the situation of how the interaction between students and teacher in learning. Code-switching used in regards to communicating certainly have functions. This study aimed to describe function code switching used by speakers at SMK of Marisi Medan. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of study were the teacher and students. The objects were utterances of code-switching in Indonesian language learning at Vacational High School of  Marisi Medan. Validity data technique used triangulation of data source and informant review. Data collection used listen and speak methods. Data analysis using the intralingual method. The result of  research showed that function of code-switching at the time of process of Indonesian language learning are explained, reminded, reprimanded, emphasized, and asked.

This study aimed to get understanding of the phenomena of code switching and code-mixing which occured in the interaction of teachers and students of 14 Public Primary School Gurun Laweh Padang in the process of teaching and learning in the classroom. This is a qualitative research with communications ethnography method. This research was conducted in the first class grade and five 14 Public Primary School Gurun Laweh Padang for three months, September through November 2016. This research applies the data analysis techniques of Spardley Cycle Ethnographic Research consisting of four steps: domain analysis, taxonomy analysis, componential analysis, and cultural analysis. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The form of code switching by teachers and students is internal code switching; (2) The causes of code switching and code-mixing made by teachers and students is speaker and listener. (3) Function code switching and code-mixing for the teacher is to provide effective instruction, to simplify the delivery of content, while the functions of code switching and code-mixing for the students is to make it easier for them to express their ideas or think; (4) The impact of the code switching and code-mixing is a shift in the language, the deviation at the language level (interference), culture code switching and code-mixing the use of Indonesian in the interaction of teachers and students in the learning process in the classroom. Keywords: code switching, code-mixing, the use of the Indonesian language, communications ethnography Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman tentang fenomena alih kode dan campur kode yang terjadi dalam interaksi guru dan siswa SD Negeri 14 Gurun Laweh Padang dalam proses belajar-mengajar di kelas. ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode etnografi komunikasi.
