This paper presents an experimentally verified approach to deriving switching arc energy limitations for low-voltage (LV) circuit breakers (CBs). Air-insulated contactors equipped with additional vacuum-insulated (VI) arcing contacts were tested for AC and DC current interruption efficiency, respectively. In the study, the contact arrangements of reed relay VI contact switches of low current breaking capacity combined with air-insulated contactors were examined. Tests were performed on selected LV CBs inductively loaded for LV power network rated voltages. A comparative analysis of the arc energy resulting from various arc time durations recorded during the switching-off operation was performed. Using a variety of either basic CB air-insulated contact systems or combined contact systems, a practical assessment of the proposed idea for enhancing the arc quenching efficiency was undertaken. As a result of the implementation of the proposed idea, the arc burning duration time was indicated as being hundreds of times shorter. In most cases, a complete arc reduction was achieved. Moreover, the resulting arc energy dissipation during the breaking operation was substantially minimized. Consequently, a significant increase in the total current breaking capacity of the tested CBs was achieved.

We assess how the July 2016 increase in the Canada Child Benefit (CCB) affected household spending with respect to total current expenditure and its seven constituent categories: clothing, food, health care, household operations, recreation, shelter, and transportation. The increase in the CCB was large: for most recipient households, it increased by more than $2,000 per child per year. We consider households below the median income level and find statistically significant effects of the policy change only for spending on clothing, food, and shelter and only for rental-tenure households. We find that rental-tenure households with children that fell below the median income level increased their annual expenditure by about $3,400 in response to the CCB increase. Spending on food increased by roughly $700; spending on shelter, by nearly $1,400. Spending on clothing increased by roughly $350, but spending mainly increased on children’s clothing, not on adults’ clothing.

Ring-current maps give a direct pictorial representation of molecular aromaticity. They can be computed at levels ranging from empirical to full ab initio and DFT. For benzenoid hydrocarbons, Hückel–London (HL) theory gives a remarkably good qualitative picture of overall current patterns, and a useful basis for their interpretation. This paper describes an implemention of Aihara’s algorithm for computing HL currents for a benzenoid (for example) by partitioning total current into its constituent cycle currents. The Aihara approach can be used as an alternative way of calculating Hückel–London current maps, but more significantly as a tool for analysing other empirical models of induced current based on conjugated circuits. We outline an application where examination of cycle contributions to HL total current led to a simple graph-theoretical approach for cycle currents, which gives a better approximation to the HL currents for Kekulean benzenoids than any of the existing conjugated-circuit models, and unlike these models it also gives predictions of the HL currents in non-Kekulean benzenoids that are of similar quality.

The purpose of this analysis is to demonstrate the effect of company size and liquidity on dividend policy in basic industry and chemicals companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange, with free cash flow as a moderating variable. The phenomenon of increased company size and liquidity without a dividend policy piques researchers' interest in digging deeper into the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable, which is bolstered by the influence of the moderating variable in the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. This research implemented quantitative and enlightening exploration. A total of 75 research data were collected based on the current population's intentional examination procedure. Company size was measured by the natural logarithm of the company's total assets, liquidity was measured using the current ratio by dividing total current assets by total current liabilities, and dividend policy was measured by the dividend payout ratio. Data analysis using smartPls programming with the least-squares information investigation technique reveals that company size and liquidity have no impact on dividend policy. In addition, free cash flow cannot be a moderating variable in the influence of company size and liquidity on dividend policy.

This research is intended to implement the lecturer's professional competence, especially in assessing the performance of Puskesmas from the aspect of current ratio, efficiency ratio, and ROA. The research approach chosen is quantitative with descriptive research. The data collection technique uses documentation, namely financial reports published by Puskesmas "X" in 2016 and 2017. The results of the study explain that as a government institution managed using the BLUD mechanism, Puskesmas always pays attention to the management process for accounts as stipulated in public sector accounting that becomes an important part of assessing financial performance. Based on the current ratio, the ratio of total current assets and total current liabilities increased from 2016 to 2017 so that the performance of the Puskesmas was good. In the aspect of efficiency ratio, the comparison of expenditure realization and revenue realization of Puskesmas shows that puskesmas are efficient, especially in 2017. Puskesmas are also Quite Effective or Good Enough in generating ROA, so that in general this puskesmas works well, efficiently, and quite well in 2017.

Analysis of elliptic conductors, carrying a known total current, using the point matching method (PMM) in circular-cylinder coordinates [l] failed for the values of axes ratio b / a < 05, where a and b are the major and minor axes of the ellipse, respectively. This work shows that the use of elliptic-cylinder coordinates in conjunction with the point matching method overcomes this problem. This paper is a part of the work investigating the difficulties encountered in the point matching method, and is motivated by the fact that, despite its limitations, the method is still attractive as suggested by its use in recent papers [2]-141.

This paper presents a voltage similarity circuit (bump circuit) based on a novel voltage correlator. The proposed circuit is characterized by a power consumption which depends on the similarity between the two inputs. The sensitivity of the bump circuit and the power consumption are at the highest values when the inputs are equal. As the similarity between the input voltages decreases, the total current consumption decreases with a bell-shaped behavior. The proposed bump circuit is very simple in design, made of a new voltage correlator circuit in combination with a differential pair and mimics the behavior of the classical bump circuit. The voltage correlator was implemented using AMS−350nm CMOS technology. Simulation and measurement results suggests that a low power consumption may be achieved if the circuit is used in applications where the input signals have large dissimilarity for most of the circuit operation.
