VI paralysis is a frequent and classic pathology in the clinical consultation of ophthalmology. The main difficulty is the diagnostic process (for the etiology). In young adults, be aware of the possibility of a tumor with the correlation of rapid imaging. UCNT is frequent in Morocco, its neurological symptoms are misleading because we do not always think of examining the nasopharynx properly in the event of damage to the cranial pairs. Improving the prognosis for this cancer requires early diagnosis.

The paper discusses the possibility of testing and correcting calibration of a portable acceleration recorder under orbital flight conditions. This recorder in-cludes a 3-axis accelerometer. The most difficult stage of calibration tests is the determination of its scale factors. The main difficulty of calibration is the lack of special equipment on the space station. It is proposed to use a standard mass meter installed on the ISS for testing accelerometers. The algorithms considered in the paper use data of the motion of the mass meter platform and the video camera records processing in addition to the recorder readings. For testing the algorithms under earth conditions, recordings were made that simulate conditions of an orbital flight. The proposed algorithms showed 2 % error in determining the scale factors of the accelerometers.

Abstract The paper considers a normalized non-integral integral of the first kind with a variable lower bound. In this case the integrand is a generalization of the standard Gaussian distribution density. Such integrals are often called cutoffs or incomplete functions. The purpose of this paper is to obtain power inequalities for this kind of integrals. The necessity of obtaining this type of estimations is due to the fact that incomplete functions have become widespread in applications and theoretical studies. The peculiarity of the results established in the article consists in the fact that arbitrary degrees of a given integral for any value of an argument are evaluated from above not by means, of the value of integrable functions at a certain point, but by the value of the integral in question at some point proportional to this argument. The coefficient of proportionality, a parameter, can take any value from some closed interval. The main difficulty in obtaining these inequalities is that the integrand is a logarithmically concave function, that is, its logarithm is a concave function. The paper also proves that both limits of the closed interval for the parameter cannot be extended. This shows that the obtained estimates are unimprovable.

Numerical expressions are linguistic forms related to numbers or quantities, which directly reflect the relationship between linguistic symbols and mathematical cognition. Featuring some unique properties, numeral systems are somewhat distinguished from other language subsystems. For instance, numerals can appear in various grammatical positions, including adjective positions, determiner positions, and argument positions. Thus, linguistic research on numeral systems, especially the research on the syntax and semantics of numerical expressions, has been a popular and recurrent topic. For the syntax of complex numerals, two analyses have been proposed in the literature. The traditional constituency analysis maintains that complex numerals are phrasal constituents, which has been widely accepted and defended as a null hypothesis. The nonconstituency analysis, by contrast, claims that a complex numeral projects a complementative structure in which a numeral is a nominal head selecting a lexical noun or a numeral-noun combination as its complement. As a consequence, additive numerals are transformed from full NP coordination. Whether numerals denote numbers or sets has aroused a long-running debate. The number-denoting view assumes that numerals refer to numbers, which are abstract objects, grammatically equivalent to nouns. The primary issue with this analysis comes from the introduction of a new entity, numbers, into the model of ontology. The set-denoting view argues that numerals refer to sets, which are equivalent to adjectives or quantifiers in grammar. One main difficulty of this view is how to account for numerals in arithmetic sentences.

In this paper, the 3IM+1CM theorem with a general difference polynomial L z , f will be established by using new methods and technologies. Note that the obtained result is valid when the sum of the coefficient of L z , f is equal to zero or not. Thus, the theorem with the condition that the sum of the coefficient of L z , f is equal to zero is also a good extension for recent results. However, it is new for the case that the sum of the coefficient of L z , f is not equal to zero. In fact, the main difficulty of proof is also from this case, which causes the traditional theorem invalid. On the other hand, it is more interesting that the nonconstant finite-order meromorphic function f can be exactly expressed for the case f ≡ − L z , f . Furthermore, the sharpness of our conditions and the existence of the main result are illustrated by examples. In particular, the main result is also valid for the discrete analytic functions.

AbstractThe analysis of trends and other non-stationary behaviours at the extremes of a series is an important problem in global warming. This work proposes and compares several statistical tools to analyse that behaviour, using the properties of the occurrence of records in i.i.d. series. The main difficulty of this problem is the scarcity of information in the tails, so it is important to obtain all the possible evidence from the available data. First, different statistics based on upper records are proposed, and the most powerful is selected. Then, using that statistic, several approaches to join the information of four types of records, upper and lower records of forward and backward series, are suggested. It is found that these joint tests are clearly more powerful. The suggested tests are specifically useful in analysing the effect of global warming in the extremes, for example, of daily temperature. They have a high power to detect weak trends and can be widely applied since they are non-parametric. The proposed statistics join the information of M independent series, which is useful given the necessary split of the series to arrange the data. This arrangement solves the usual problems of climate series (seasonality and serial correlation) and provides more series to find evidence. These tools are used to analyse the effect of global warming on the extremes of daily temperature in Madrid.

Closed form expressions in real Clifford geometric algebras Cl(0,3), Cl(3,0), Cl(1,2), and Cl(2,1) are presented in a coordinate-free form for exponential function when the exponent is a general multivector. The main difficulty in solving the problem is connected with an entanglement (or mixing) of vector and bivector components a and a in a form (a-a), i≠ j≠ k . After disentanglement, the obtained formulas simplify to the well-known Moivre-type trigonometric/hyperbolic function for vector or bivector exponentials. The presented formulas may find wide application in solving GA differential equations, in signal processing, automatic control and robotics.

Implements concept of New Public Management in the preparation of the Budget in Indonesia a show a positive development, the effect on improving the performance of government, namely the implementation of the Performance-Based Budgeting. But the main difficulty in implementing performance-based budgets is the difficulty of agreeing on appropriate performance measures. Measuring an activity or output is easier than determining the size of the expected results or outcomes.

This work is aimed at studying some comparison and oscillation properties of boundary value problems (BVP’s) of a new type, which differ from classical problems in that they are defined on two disjoint intervals and include additional transfer conditions that describe the interaction between the left and right intervals. This type of problems we call boundary value-transmission problems (BVTP’s). The main difficulty arises when studying the distribution of zeros of eigenfunctions, since it is unclear how to apply the classical methods of Sturm’s theory to problems of this type. We established new criteria for comparison and oscillation properties and new approaches used to obtain these criteria. The obtained results extend and generalizes the Sturm’s classical theorems on comparison and oscillation.

AbstractTo understand the perspectives and needs of autistic children and their families in the context of an emergency, 109 parents and 56 autistic children (5.75–18 years) from Canada completed an online survey about needs, barriers and facilitators to coping with the pandemic. Parents’ concerns about their child’s development and difficulties managing their child’s behaviors before and during pandemic were significantly associated. Parents identified maintaining social relationships and implementing appropriate interventions to their child’s characteristics as facilitators during the pandemic. Both children and parents identified lack of socialization as a main difficulty. Among children, 92.9% associated electronic devices with their well-being. This study highlighted the need to consider the child’s autistic characteristics and interests to implement emergency accommodations and services.
