It was found that the best strategy in building Indonesian defense industry in responding to cyber threats is the development of the quality of Human Resources and an increase in the budget for research and development of defense industry and technology. This is because some of the obstacles faced are (1) the weak understanding of state administrators related to the cyberspace, and the weak competence of human resources related to soft skills that must be possessed, (2) the weak legal umbrella in handling attacks in the cyberspace. The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on changes in the human lifeline, including the pattern of worship of religious people at large. Religious practices that are carried out regularly and implemented in special places are undergoing a shift. The practice of communal worship involving many worshippers is limited at home by involving people who are also limited. This article aims to explain the shift in the way of worship of the people of Lombok Island related to the Covid-19 that hit the world today. The study also exposed a new form of habit in Muslim religious practices due to the pandemic on Lombok island. This article shows that changes in worship patterns are the result of emergencies and the choice to continue to carry out their duties as devout believers. The limitations of the worship space are avoided by adjusting it to government policy. Policies regarding social distancing and adherence to health protocols are an effort to prevent the spread of the virus. In a religious context, it is part of a life-saving effort so it must be obeyed. The new normal requires Muslims to conform and change new habits (new habitus) in carrying out religious practices (prayers). For example, there is a shaf distance, wearing a mask, bringing prayer mats and other equipment needed when praying in the mosque, preparing hand sanitizer in each house of worship, and routinely checking the body temperature of worshippers visiting the mosque and always referring to health protocols guided by Maqosid Assyariah.

This Article draws on the analysis of historical relations between the European Union and the Southern Mediterranean countries and highlights the main initiatives and consequences of the adopted practices of democratisation in the region following the Arab Uprisings. The main focus is on the continuity and limited changes in the new approach. One of the main findings is that the limited reform of the EU approach primarily resulted from the inherited political constraints. The net result was a set of structured security-orientated relationships that will continue to repeat earlier mistakes before 2011. The mechanisms of democracy promotion including conditionality remained inherently full of contradictions. The double standards in applying the conditionality principle  in addition to the lack of significant leverage rendered the EU democratisation approach of the Southern neighbours inapt. Despite the  2011 ENP review promise of a substantial change in the EU democratisation approach, it seems that the EU’s initial euphoria following the “Arab spring” has waned as it  seems to repeat the same old approach  of  liberalisation and securitisation of the  Southern Mediterranean region rather than democratisation.
