Comparison of Active COVID-19 Cases per Population Using Time-Series Models

This research explored the precision of diverse time-series models for COVID-19 epidemic detection in all the thirty-six different states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Nigeria with the maximum count of daily cumulative of confirmed, recovered and death cases as of 4 November 2020 of COVID-19 and populace of each state. A 14-multi step ahead forecast system for active coronavirus cases was built, analyzed and compared for six (6) different deep learning-stimulated and statistical time-series models using two openly accessible datasets. The results obtained showed that based on RMSE metric, ARIMA model obtained the best values for four of the states (0.002537, 0.001969.12E-058, 5.36E-05 values for Lagos, FCT, Edo and Delta states respectively). While no method is all-encompassing for predicting daily active coronavirus cases for different states in Nigeria, ARIMA model obtains the highest-ranking prediction performance and attained a good position results in other states.

The purpose of this study was to measure the service quality of the implementing unit of higher education institutions, to measure the level of external customer satisfaction, and to analyze the relationship between service quality and external customer satisfaction levels. To achieve these objectives, research was carried out by combining observation methods, distributing questionnaires to 200 external customers, focus group discussions, and public consultations. As the unit of analysis in this study, external customers consist of parents of students, alumni, graduate users, and cooperation partners. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, and non-parametric statistical analysis, namely Spearman rank correlation. The results showed: the service quality of higher education implementing units is identical to the level of satisfaction of external customers; achievement of the level of external customer satisfaction is from good to very good; external customer satisfaction of alumni and graduate users is in a good position, while external customers of students' parents and cooperation partners are in a very good position.

Saving management is about empowering and enlightening consumers so that they are well prepared about finance in a way that is relevant to their lives. Therefore, this paper endeavors to analyze the key determinants of saving management in Peninsular Malaysia. Survey forms were distributed to 2500 working adults in Peninsular Malaysia, ages ranging from 18 to 45 years old. Meanwhile, the method employed in this study is multiple regression analysis. Further, this study highlight that parents’ characteristic, investment skill, financial literacy and expenses management are the important factors in enhancing and increasing the level of saving skills in Malaysia.

This research was conducted to find out how the level of profitability by using the ratio of ROA (Return on Asset), ROE (Return on Equity), BOPO (Operating Expenses to Operating Income), and NPM (Net Profit Margin) to PT. BPR Batang Kapas. The type of data used is secondary data obtained by the documentation method taken from the PT.BPR Batang Kapas publication report during the period 2017-2019. This research was conducted using the 2017-2019 financial statements, namely the balance sheet and income statement. The results of this study indicate that the bank ROA level is in a very good position with the ROA criteria >1.5%. The ROE level also shows that the bank position is in a fairly good condition with the criteria of 13%

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to identify a SWOT analysis and formulate a business strategy using the IFE and EFE matrix, as well as the Grand Strategy matrix at the Café and Angkringan Nu Laharjo Mojokerto. The benefits of the research are identified SWOT analysis and strategy formulation can be used as a measure in future business planning. The research used is qualitative research, while the data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, namely describing the data collected using SWOT analysis, IFE and EFE matrix, and the Grand Strategy matrix. The results show that the SWOT analysis is identified, the IFE and EFE matrices have a positive total score, and the Grand Strategy matrix shows that Nu Laharjo Café and Angkringan are in a strategic and good position. Mechanical design and evaluation of an actuator and a simulator for trans-tibial and trans-femoral prostheses

This study proposes a joint simulator to evaluate new prosthesis designs prior to patient trials to minimize the inconveniences encountered in prosthesis applications for amputees. Design and prototype manufacturing of a force-controlled series elastic actuator was realized. In addition, actively controlled trans-tibial and trans-femoral amputation prostheses were designed by utilizing this actuator. A pneumatic joint simulator consisting of a proportional air pressure valve was also designed and manufactured. The experimental results demonstrated that good position tracking performances and effective assistive forces under the simulated walking conditions were achieved. The developed systems have the potential to contribute to the improvement of inadequate features of passive prostheses and to the development of new assistive systems that better respond to the needs of people with orthopedic disabilities.
