The purpose of this study is 1) To find out the character education given by the teacher in fostering student personality 2) To find out the teacher's example by instilling moral values ​​in student personality development 3) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for providing guidance and guidance morals to students and supporting and inhibiting factors for providing moral guidance and guidance to students and 4) To find out the comparison of how to instill PAI teachers in the personality development of students at MTs al Ghifari Karangtanjung and MTs Al Bina Cadasari Pandeglang. This research method is a qualitative approach. The research time is about 4 months, taking place at MTs al Ghifari Karangtanjung and MTs Al Bina Cadasari Pandeglang. In collecting information from informants, both written and verbal, the researchers collected data by means of observation, in-depth interviews with 14 informants consisting of 2 madrasah principals, 6 teachers and 6 students, as well as documentation, then analyzed and processed using techniques. reduction, presenting data as well as verifying so that it can refer to the research objectives in question. The results of the study, 1) the character education provided by the teacher in fostering the personality of students through learning by familiarizing the attitude and example of the Prophet Muhammad; 2) exemplary teachers by instilling moral values ​​in the personality development of students at MTs al Ghifari Karangtanjung and MTs Al Bina Cadasari Pandeglang through discipline and responsibility both in the process and outside of learning; 3) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in providing moral guidance and guidance to students, it is done by preparing conditions that allow the formation of individual and social piety; 4) To find out the comparison of how to instill PAI teachers in the personality development of students at MTs al Ghifari Karangtanjung and MTs Al Bina Cadasari Pandeglang through positive activities to help students facilitate the learning process towards success.

This study examined the characteristics of “exemplary” teachers according to Israeli–Arab prospective teachers, and the influence of those perceptions on their professional identity. The study is based on the qualitative paradigm using in-depth semi-structured interviews with 33 students studying education in an academic college located in the center of Israel. Findings show that their professional educational identity begins to form while still at school, with exposure to an exceptional teacher in their past. The teacher’s digression from the traditional model of pedagogy in Arab education led them to the formulation of modern mindsets as educators and agents of change.

Teacher assessment activities are common activities carried out. Evaluation of exemplary teachers is one of the activities held every year in schools, especially at PGRI Babelan Junior High School. The selection of exemplary teachers carried out by SMP PGRI Babelan must be as minimum as possible free from things that can damage the results such as conducting a subjective assessment, therefore the author conducted research using one of the multi attribute decision making methods, namely the Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method. . The criteria used in the selection of exemplary teachers at SMP PGRI Babelan include Ethics, Methods and Didactics, Responsibility, Credibility, Absence with the stages of the Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method itself consisting of matrix normalization stages, searching for the value of Qi (1) namely the value of the Weighted Sum Model (WSM), the search for the value of Qi (2), namely the value of the Weighted Product Model (WPM) and the stages of the Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method itself so that it is found that the 6th alternative is the teacher most recommended by the method. Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) with a value of 0.9860 followed by the 1st alternative with a value of 0.8907 and re-tested the level of reliability using Pearson Correlation

In education, an exemplary and character teacher at school has a real impact on the child's personality in the future. Character building is a collective commitment of the Indonesian people to face today's global demands. The implementation of character education is a way to build a more moral education. The purpose of writing this article was to describe and analyze the exemplary teachers in implementing character education. This article had analyzed and reviewed the works of literature that were related to the topic. The model used was a library research approach. The results examined that the implementation of character education in schools is the responsibility of all school members. However, teachers play a more important role in achieving the program, the success of character education in schools depends on the extent to which the teachers can be a model for their students. Creating a character student will need a character teacher as well.

Discipline is manifested in the student's compliance with the applicable class rules procedures in the classroom. The authors found problems related to the discipline of elementary school students. The discipline of grade 3 elementary school students does not show any indicators of discipline such as not following the rules procedures applicable in online learning. The purpose of writing this research is to review and describe the teacher's accuracy in instilling the discipline of elementary school students through online learning. The author uses research method with descriptive qualitative. Self-control of teachers is also an example that students certainly imitate. Based on the results of analysis and the findings of previous research, researchers concluded that the picture of discipline in grade 3 elementary school should be shown by compliance, obedience, self-control of the rules and procedures applicable in online learning. Discipline aims to bring students to maturity and change. The author recommends that elementary school teachers apply strictness to improve the discipline of elementary school students owned by students. Although the accuracy provided online learning can have a positive impact on student discipline in online learning. Students are expected to get used to discipline and exemplify teachers in terms of discipline.

The low disciplinary behavior of students is one of the problems faced by many educational institutions. Even though discipline is the personality builder of the student. By practicing discipline, other good habits will come. Strengthening student discipline can be inserted through school activities or school culture according to the needs and conditions of the school. Therefore, this article describes the school culture in the form of istigasah activities to strengthen student discipline at SMP Al-Ikhlas Tarokan Kediri. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection was carried out using the interview method, observing, collecting and examining, and feeling. Data analysis used includes pattern matching, making explanations, and time series analysis. The results showed that the implementation of istigasah at SMP Al-Ikhlas Tarokan Kediri has been running well. However, some efforts are still needed so that these istigasah activities can be carried out consistently. Implemented methods include: implementing discipline, checking student notebooks, exemplary teachers, and using rewards and punishments.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pelaksanaan nilai karakter religius di MI Assalafush Sholihun juga apa saja yang menjadi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan nilai karakter religius ini pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriftif adapun teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif model Milles and Huberman yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil dari Pelaksanaan nilai karakter religius di MI Assalafush Sholihun adalah melalui program pengembangan diri yang terdiri dari kegiatan-kegiatan yang ada di sekolah yang menjadi kegiatan rutin, keteladanan guru, serta pengkondisian sekolah atau madrasah yang diciptakan sedemikian rupa. Pelaksanaan melalui budaya sekolah yang ada di kelas, sekolah dan luar sekolah. Selain itu hambatan yang didapat dari penelitian mengenai pelaksanaan nilai karakter terdapat pada personalia yakni guru yang masih merasa kesulitan dalam menanamkan nilai karakter religius pada siswa kemudian hambatan pada diri siswa sendiri (internal) berupa kurangnya motivasi dalam melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan yang mencerminkan nilai karakter religius serta lingkungan siswa atau faktor eksternal dan pengajaran dari orang tua yang berbeda dengan sekolah. Kata Kunci : Karakter, Religius, Pengintegrasian pengembangan diri, Budaya sekolah. This study aims to describe the implementation of religious character values ​​in MI Assalafush Sholihun as well as what are the obstacles in the implementation of these religious character values ​​during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method is descriptive. The data collection technique is by interview, documentation and observation. The data analysis used was qualitative data analysis by Millesmodel and,  Huberman'snamely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the implementation of religious character values ​​at MI Assalafush Sholihun are through self-development programs consisting of activities in schools that become routine activities, exemplary teachers, and school or madrasah conditioning that are created in such a way. Implementation through school culture in the classroom, school and outside of school. In addition, the obstacles obtained from research regarding the implementation of character values ​​are found in personnel, namely teachers who still find it difficult to instill religious character values ​​in students then obstacles to themselves (internal) in the form of a lack of motivation in carrying out activities that reflect the values ​​of religious character and student environment or external factors and teaching from parents that are different from the school.  Keywords: Character, Religious, Integration of self-development, School Culture.
