The aim of this paper is to share the results of the process of formulating the curriculum for the 2016 University Teacher Training in Biology at the Faculty of Exact, Chemical and Natural Sciences of the National University of Misiones (UNaM) based on a collective construction among various stakeholders in the educational community and especially the proposal of the formative pathway of Education for Health and the Environment (EpSyA). The research used a qualitative and interpretative methodology based on the analysis of curricular documents, institutional agreements, national regulations, interviews and classroom observations. The different instances of discussion in the reformulation of the curricular project are reconstructed chronologically, the macro-decisions in the construction of the formative path of EpSyA are analysed and the hourly loads and minimum contents of the subjects and the teaching strategies are made explicit.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic declared by the World Health Organization, the work environment in the education sector has been affected, especially at the early education level, due to the suspension of face-to-face classes, the introduction of virtual education and, in some cases, the closure of educational institutions. From this perspective, the purpose of this study is to describe university teacher training in the field of entrepreneurship in the Early Childhood Education program at public and private universities in Ecuador. The information was collected through a broad epistemological analysis, as well as the curricula, the graduate profile and the projected labor field of the career that are related to entrepreneurship as part of academic training. The results reveal that of the 30 universities that offer this career, 13 include entrepreneurship as a subject in their curricula, 6 relate it to their projected field of work and 4 include it in their graduate profile. This shows the limited consideration of entrepreneurship in the training of initial education professionals, which distances them from the real needs of today's rapidly changing labor field. In the future, it is necessary to review the syllabus of this subject to verify the development of entrepreneurial competencies.

This paper examines language attitudes of South Tyroleans towards German varieties used in educational institutions by means of a questionnaire survey with 55 university students. The aim of this paper is to provide an insight into subjects’ attitudes towards their own and other German (standard) varieties, with a focus on the sociolinguistic situation in South Tyrol (northern Italy). Previous studies have shown that the German-speaking community often have the notion that their own standard variety is deficient combined with a feeling of linguistic inferiority towards German speakers from Germany. Therefore, this article seeks to answer the following research questions: Which attitudes do South Tyrolean university students have towards the different German (standard) varieties? Do university teacher-training students get in touch with the concept of the pluricentric variation within the German standard variety during their education? Results reveal that despite a certain awareness of the issue of linguistic variation in the German language, the standard variety used in Germany still enjoys high prestige among our subjects compared to other German standard varieties. Moreover, results show that the students were hardly confronted with the subject of the German standard variety used in South Tyrol or with the variation of the German language during their high school years. However, this changes as soon as they attend university.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Leadership Behavior variable (X1), Work Motivation (X2) and Education Level (X3) which had a dominant effect on Employee Performance (Y) at the Mulawarman University Teacher Training and Education Faculty. The results of the study showed that based on the results of the research and analysis of the variables that affect the Leadership variable (X1) it has a significant effect on the Performance (Y) of the Teachers and Education Faculty employees of Mulawarman University. The partial test results show that the t test for Work Motivation variable (X2) on Performance (Y) with t count value of 1.668 is smaller than t table 0.260 or significance t = 1.668 smaller than  5%. This means that the Work Motivation variable (X2) has a significant influence on the Performance (Y) of the Teachers' School and Mulawarman University Education staff so that the hypothesis in this study is rejected. This indicates that work motivation is one of the ways used by a leader to exercise control. Based on the results of statistical analysis showing work motivation variables on the performance productivity of the Mulawarman University Teaching and Education Faculty employees, it was pointed out that motivation had a significant and significant effect on the performance productivity of the Mulawarman University Teaching and Education Faculty employees, this shows that the higher motivation of employees to work, the the high level of performance productivity of the Mulawarman University Teacher Training and Education Faculty employees. Based on the results of statistical analysis, the educational variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between education and the performance of the staff of the Teaching and Education Faculty of Mulawarman University so that the hypothesis in this study is universally universal.

This study introduces a new theoretical model describing the moment-to-moment development of expectancy-value experiences, based on dynamic systems concepts. As a first step to testing this model, we examined whether task values and success expectancies measured in a learning situation (time point t) predicted themselves and each other at the next situation (t + 1).Situational task values and expectancies were assessed using the experience sampling method in 155 University teacher training students during weekly lectures for one semester, with three surveys during each weekly lesson. Data were analyzed with a multilevel cross-lagged structural equation model.Expectancies and task values were concurrently correlated within situations. Expectancies showed rank-order stability for from one learning situation to the next, whereas task values did not. No cross-lagged effects between expectancies and most task values were found. We expect the proposed dynamic situated expectancy-value model to have a substantial impact on further theory development.

Writing is one of the most difficult skills in language learning, particularly in learning English as a foreign language. The purposes of this qualitative study were to describe student teachers’ challenges in composing argumentative writing and to explain how they encountered those challenges at one public university teacher-training program in Jambi, Indonesia. The theoretical framework of cultural capital was used to guide the study while the data were collected through demographic profiles and semi-structured in-depth interviews with student teachers. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we only had access to invite 12 students to participate in our study—they were six male and six female student teachers. All participants in this study had taken English academic writing subjects and had been familiar with argumentative English writing. To analyze the data, within-case and cross-case analyses were used. The results of the data analysis produced eight salient themes including insufficient vocabulary and grammar, giving arguments, writing habits, parents’ occupation, the relationship between students, cognitive strategies, metacognitive strategies, and social strategies. The implications of the study are also discussed.
