The assisted download is an effective method solving the problem that the coverage range is insufficient when Wi-Fi access is used in VANET. For the low utilization of time-space resource within blind area and unbalanced download services in VANET, this paper proposes an approximate global optimum scheme to select vehicle based on WebGIS for assistance download. For WebGIS, this scheme uses a two-dimensional matrix to respectively define the time-space resource and the vehicle selecting behavior, and uses Markov Decision Process to solve the problem of time-space resource allocation within blind area, and utilizes the communication features of VANET to simplify the behavior space of vehicle selection so as to reduce the computing complexity. At the same time, Euclidean Distance(Metric) and Manhattan Distance are used as the basis of vehicle selection by the proposed scheme so that, in the case of possessing the balanced assisted download services, the target vehicles can increase effectively the total amount of user downloads. Experimental results show that because of the wider access range and platform independence of WebGIS, when user is in the case of relatively balanced download services, the total amount of downloads is increased by more than 20%. Moreover, WebGIS usually only needs to use Web browser (sometimes add some plug-ins) on the client side, so the system cost is greatly reduced.

The conventional method for detecting blood abnormality is time consuming and lacks the high level of accuracy. In this paper a MATLAB based solution has been suggested to tackle the problem of time consumption and accuracy. Three types of blood abnormality have been covered here, namely, anemia which is characterized by low count of red blood cells (RBCs), Leukemia which is depicted by increasing the number of white blood cells (WBCs), and sickle cell blood disorder which is caused by a deformation in the shape of red cells. The algorithm has been tested on different images of blood smears and noticed to give an acceptable level of accuracy. Image processing techniques has been used here to detect the different types of blood constituents. Unlike many other researches, this research includes the blood sickling disorder which is epidemic in certain regions of the world, and offers a more accuracy than other algorithms through the use of detaching overlapped cells strategy.

In this paper, the problem of time to recruitment is analyzed for a single grade manpower system in which attrition takes place due to two types of policy decisions where this classification is done according to intensity of attrition, it form an ordinary renewal process. Assuming (i) policy decisions and exits occur at different epochs (ii) wastage of manpower due to exits and wastage due to frequent breaks taken by the personnel working in the manpower system separately form a sequence of independent and identically distributed exponential random variables with different means and (iii) breakdown threshold for the cumulative wastage of manpower in the system has three components which are independent exponential random variables. A stochastic model is constructed and the variance of the time to recruitment is obtained using an univariate CUM policy of recruitment. Employing a different probabilistic analysis, analytical results in closed form for system characteristics are derived.

Over the past few years, the use of wireless sensor networks in a range of Internet of Things (IoT) scenarios has grown in popularity. Since IoT sensor devices have restricted battery power, a proper IoT data aggregation approach is crucial to prolong the network lifetime. To this end, current approaches typically form a virtual aggregation backbone based on a connected dominating set or maximal independent set to utilize independent transmissions of dominators. However, they usually have a fairly long aggregation delay because the dominators become bottlenecks for receiving data from all dominatees. The problem of time-efficient data aggregation in multichannel duty-cycled IoT sensor networks is analyzed in this paper. We propose a novel aggregation approach, named LInk-delay-aware REinforcement (LIRE), leveraging active slots of sensors to explore a routing structure with pipeline links, then scheduling all transmissions in a bottom-up manner. The reinforcement schedule accelerates the aggregation by exploiting unused channels and time slots left off at every scheduling round. LIRE is evaluated in a variety of simulation scenarios through theoretical analysis and performance comparisons with a state-of-the-art scheme. The simulation results show that LIRE reduces more than 80% aggregation delay compared to the existing scheme.

In the process of violence recognition, accuracy is reduced due to problems related to time axis misalignment and the semantic deviation of multimedia visual auditory information. Therefore, this paper proposes a method for auditory–visual information fusion based on autoencoder mapping. First, a feature extraction model based on the CNN–LSTM framework is established, and multimedia segments are used as whole input to solve the problem of time axis misalignment of visual and auditory information. Then, a shared semantic subspace is constructed based on an autoencoder mapping model and is optimized by semantic correspondence, which solves the problem of audiovisual semantic deviation and realizes the fusion of visual and auditory information on segment level features. Finally, the whole network is used to identify violence. The experimental results show that the method can make good use of the complementarity between modes. Compared with single-mode information, the multimodal method can achieve better results.

Abstract Whole-genome sequencing projects of millions of persons contain enormous genotypes, entailing a huge memory burden and time overhead during computation. Here, we introduce Genotype Blocking Compressor (GBC), a method for rapidly compressing large-scale genotypes into a fast-accessible and highly parallelizable format. We demonstrate that GBC has a competitive compression ratio to help save storage space. Furthermore, GBC is the fastest method to access and manage compressed large-scale genotype files (sorting, merging, splitting, etc.). Our results indicate that GBC can help resolve the fundamental problem of time- and space-consuming computation with large-scale genotypes, and conventional analysis would be substantially enhanced if integrated with GBC to access genotypes. Therefore, GBC's advanced data structure and algorithms will accelerate future population-based biomedical research involving big genomics data.

Cognition of time is one of the fundamental tasks of philosophy and science. We can say that the progress of society was to a large extent ensured by the acquisition of the idea of time by mankind. Without the knowledge of time, neither the economic nor the spiritual life of society would be feasible. For the economic life of society, time is periods of work in the field of agriculture, the establishment of work regimes, etc. For the spiritual activity of people, time is the “historyˮ of society, cultures, civilizations, the regulation of traditional rituals, holidays, the secret of life, death and immortality of people, etc. If the economic life of people makes a demand for the knowledge of time, due to the nature of human existence that striving for cognition of time itself, for the purpose of spiritual enrichment, without being mediated by pragmatic demands, is one of the secrets of the human mind. Philosophy is that specific form of cognition that ensures the satisfaction of a person's need for knowledge of the essence of the world and its existence in time, the essence of the temporal existence of society and man and the essence of time itself. The article examines the study of time that has developed in the philosophical tradition in the aspect of epistemological alternatives to empiricism and rationalism. The analysis of the concepts of time given in the works of modern thinkers is given. A variant of the nomological concept of time is proposed and substantiated.

This paper – presenting a close reading of Stanisław Grochowiak’s poem Posłańcy [The Messengers] – proposes reflections on the “time of the poem”. It deals with the issue of experiencing different temporalities while reading (when and where you are while experiencing written words; what is the relationship between the reader's "real" and "fictional" – immersed in the process of reading – lives), and proposes a depiction of pace moderations in the analyzed work – of its own, differential dynamics. The problem of time and velocity is the starting point for a hermeneutic interpretation, or rather hermeneutic exercises (inspired by Raymond Queneau's Exercises in Style): a conceptual, anthropological and semiotic reading experiment carried out on Grochowiak's poem. This essay is an attempt to pave a few paths for understanding The Messengers and their messages. Following in the footsteps of the title characters (with the help of associations and seemingly trivial observations) becomes a cognitive and imaginative adventure, a revolve around an ineffable, dark mystery of the poem (perhaps of all poems and their messengers).

Монография Т.Е. Monograph by prof. T.E. Shapovalova is devoted to understanding of the category of syntactic time. Time as a syntactic category and an obligatory component of predicativity is considered on the material of a poetic text, in which all grammatical elements are transformed - in particular syntaxemes as the carriers of temporal semantics receive additional subjective-modal shades, event connotations, and accompanying connotations (spatial, conditional, etc.). We also considered such fundamental for understanding of the syntactic problem of time as absolute and relative time, temporal definiteness and temporal uncertainty, predicative properties of substantive turnover, etc.
