The explosion of platform social data as digital secondary data, collectible through sophisticated and automatized query systems or algorithms, makes it possible to accumulate huge amounts of dense and miscellaneous data. The challenge for social researchers becomes how to extract meaning and not only trends in a quantitative as well as in a qualitative manner. Through the application of a digital mixed content analysis perspective to data analysis, in this contribution, the author will present the potentiality of a hybrid digitalized approach to social content. This perspective should be seen as an applied example of organizing a framework to guide the application of integrated methods of content analysis (quantitative and qualitative) but also integrated objects of analysis (individuals, relationships, and digital actions) on digital platform social data and to address their varied nature.

Cigarette, which has 1.1 billion users globally, constitutes an important social health problem in Turkey and in the world and continues to find new addicts day by day. Worldwide, one person dies from smoking-related diseases every 4.5 seconds. In addition, more than 600,000 non-smokers die each year due to passive smoking. Many levels of government and non-governmental organizations carry out various studies and seek new methods to find a solution to this global problem. One of these methods is public service announcements and posters with social content, which are an important mass media tool. Social posters, which transform various persuasion methods into visual codes, are effective in raising awareness in societies with their striking and informative features in the context of health communication. Since posters with social content convey many implicit meanings with the literary and visual indicators they contain, the semiotic method is of great importance in the analysis of these meanings. In this research, samples of anti-smoking posters with social content, in which visual codes are intense, were examined and the connotations of the indicators in these posters were revealed. As a result of the examinations, it has been observed that fear-based persuasion methods are generally used in preventing smoking addiction and creating behavior change. As a result, it has been seen that the examined posters have many deep meanings that are overlooked at first glance. Keywords: Smoking addiction, social posters, social responsibility, semiotic analysis

The article reflects the features of the formation of ecosystems in the field of education, including the features of their development in the conditions of digitalization, as well as possible points of growth of digital ecosystems in education. The following research methods are used: analysis of casesof foreign and domestic ecosystems in the field of education; the method of analogy of biological (natural) ecosystems with Learning Ecosystems in education. The following key challenges for the development of educational ecosystems are highlighted: the rapid growth of the rate of updating information; the growth of the rate of digitalization of the learning process; the transformation of the labor market; demographic shifts and the “dying out” of a number of professions; global digital transformations. Therefore, the development of domestic learning ecosystems, ensuring effective on-line interaction between educational and scientific institutions in order to create a conceptually new system of Russian continuing education based on smart technologies, cloud computing and social content are today the top priorities.

AbstractThe European Semester (ES) and the country-specific recommendations (CSRs) have been introduced with the purpose to promote flexibility and adaptation to national circumstances in the governance of fiscal policies. To assess whether the ES has contributed to reconcile economic and social objectives, we measured, through the distance to frontier (DTF) score methodology, the distance of each member country from a benchmark based on EU aims and values defined in the EU treaties. Results show that EU member countries are far from the benchmark and CSRs have not prevented a progressive deterioration of stability and cohesion from an economic, political and social perspective. A content analysis of the CSRs issued from 2011 to 2018 and a comparison with the DTF scores reveal a weak connection between member countries’ performance and CSRs. Despite the social content of many CSRs, we actually observe a “commodification” of their goals. CSRs promote a society functional to flexible and competitive markets, and compatible with the requirements of fiscal discipline and sustainability. This neoliberal approach apparently played a role in the EU deterioration and makes the “socialization” of the ES a process with ambiguous implications for European citizens.

This article examines ontologically the term "amar ma'ruf nahī munkar" which is always hotly discussed. The aspects studied include the definition, history, law, terms, and pillars of Amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. So far, the concept of amar ma'ruf nahī munkar has not been studied comprehensively so that its meaning is minimized only in the context of da'wah, even though the social content of the meaning of the word is very important to reveal. The focus of the study in this article is how to understand the concept of amar ma'ruf nahī munkar in accordance with the instructions of the Qur'an and al-Sunnah as well as the views of Muslim scholars. The study method carried out is a literature review by examining in depth the concept of amar ma'ruf nahī munkar and its scope. The research findings show that the concept of amar ma'ruf nahī munkar has broad dimensions, both with regard to definition, history, law, terms, and pillars as well as their application. It is very possible that what has been seen as amar ma'ruf nahī munkar can not actually be called a realization of this concept, because the ontological indicators in this concept have not been fulfilled. The ontological study of the concept of ma'ruf nahī munkar implies the message that every Muslim must participate in creating a stable and comfortable social order, which can provide guarantees for the creation of a good quality of life for the community.

Abstract Theodor W. Adorno’s Jargon of Authenticity (1964) is one of the bestknown, but also most controversial works of Critical Theory. Many philosophers, writers and editorialists have attacked the text in recent decades and accused Adorno of cultivating his own “jargon”. In his book, Adorno develops a critique of metaphysical and theological language, which he observed in Germany from the 1920s up to the 1960s. In my paper, I argue that the mode of critique Adorno deploys is still relevant today, even if its object has largely disappeared. This becomes clear in comparison to the language criticism of the analytical tradition, namely logical empiricism or Harry G. Frankfurt’s critique of “bullshit,” which are comparably more widespread today in academic debates. While Adorno examines linguistic expressions in terms of their social content and places them in a historical constellation, the critique of “bullshit” following Frankfurt remains constrained to a personal approach. In the language criticism of logical empiricism, on the other hand, the possibility of understanding linguistic phenomena as expressions of social conditions is still present. From this comparison, much can be learned for an up-to-date language criticism.

Information is one of the key sources of organizational value. As information carriers, documents, in some form, store the majority of business information. With the widespread introduction of social software in companies, much information is now created in social applications; leading social content to become one of the fastest growing content types. As with other content types, social content must be managed in order to realize its value and to minimize information risks. However, there is a lack of understanding about what social documents really are, what distinguishes them, and how they should be differentiated from other social content. Therefore this study examines social business documents by differentiating between social content and social documents and analyzes the characteristics of social documents. From this a working definition of social business documents is developed and challenges for their management are outlined.
