Strategic Assessment of the Efficiency of Diversification of the Industry Investment Portfolio

One of the effective special tools used to achieve the least risk and sustainable income of investment in enterprises is the investment portfolio. At the same time, one of the simplest and most effective strategies to minimize investor risk is its diversification.The article presents the results of the performed strategic financial analysis of the effectiveness of diversification of the formed sectoral investment portfolio using the example of large enterprises of the metallurgical industry. The choice of industry was determined by the fact that metallurgy is one of the fastest growing industries in the world economy.The article analyzes the strategic development trends of the metallurgical industry and considers the three largest companies in this industry (“MMK”, “Severstal”, “NLMK”). Their activity was analyzed in dynamics based on financial reporting data presented on company websites.Comparative analysis was carried out on such indicators of financial analysis as current liquidity ratios, equity and financial leverage concentration ratios, as well as interest-to-payment ratios, turnover of reserves and funds in turnover, profitability of the companies under consideration.In the resulting formation of the investment portfolio, correlation coefficients between the returns of the shares of these companies were calculated. It was established that the financial situation, as well as the low correlation coefficient between the assets of the reviewed companies, allow us to form from their shares an industry investment portfolio that minimizes the risks of a potential investor.

PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK PERUSAHAAN KAWASAN BERIKAT TERHADAP KEUNTUNGAN PERUSAHAAN (STUDY KASUS PADA KPPBC XYZ)

In promoting industrial development, the provision of bonded zone customs facilities is expected to affect the company's finances, one of the indicators is profit, because of the tax exemption, the company can reduce costs. This study aims to analyze the effect of the characteristics of bonded zone companies on the profits whether they are the same or different, what characteristics companies will get maximum profits. This study used secondary data acquired from KPPBC XYZ in 2018. The type of data is in the form of a cross-section with a sample used by 55 companies out of 72. The data is categorical with nominal and ordinal data scales. The analysis used descriptive, One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey HSD or Bonferroni advanced test. Descriptive analysis shows that most bonded zone companies gain profits, both from the type of industry, investment, duration, level of export, and exemption. Based on the factorial analysis test results, there are differences in the effect of the type of investment and duration on company profits. Meanwhile, the effect of other variables is the same. Based on the Bonferroni test, mixed investment has a bigger positive effect than domestic investment and foreign investment on company profits. The duration of 1-2 years and 2-3 years have a greater influence on company profits. Keywords: Bonded Zone, Company Characteristics, Customs Facilities, Company Profits, Factor Analysis. Dalam mendorong pengembangan industri, pemberian fasilitas kepabeanan kawasan berikat diharapkan berpengaruh terhadap keuangan perusahaan, salah satu indikatornya adalah keuntungan. Adanya pembebasan perpajakan akan mengurangi cost perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik perusahaan kawasan berikat terhadap keuntungan, apakah sama besar atau berbeda, dan karakteristik perusahaan seperti apa yang mendapat manfaat keuntungan terbesar. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari KPPBC XYZ pada tahun 2018. Jenis data berupa cross section dengan sample yang digunakan 55 dari 72 perusahaan. Data bersifat kategori dengan skala data nominal dan ordinal. Analisis menggunakan deskriptif, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) dan uji lanjut Tukey HSD atau Bonferroni. Analisis deskriptif menggambarkan sebagian besar perusahaan kawasan berikat memperoleh manfaat berupa keuntungan perusahaan, baik dari jenis industri, jenis investasi, umur fasilitas, tingkat ekspor dan tingkat pembebasan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian analisis faktorial, terdapat perbedaan pengaruh jenis investasi dan umur fasilitas terhadap keuntungan perusahaan. Sementara itu, pengaruh variabel lainnya sama. Berdasarkan uji Bonferroni, investasi campuran mempunyai pengaruh lebih besar positif dibandingkan investasi dalam negeri dan investasi asing terhadap keuntungan perusahaan. Umur fasilitas 1-2 tahun dan 2-3 tahun memberikan pengaruh lebih besar terhadap keuntungan perusahaan. Problems of regulation of investment relations in the of energy in the era of digitalization (on the example of coal energy)

This article discusses the development, current situation and medium-term prospects of the Russian coal industry. The issues of the specifics of the industry, investment risks, as well as the legal regulation of investments at the present time are highlighted separately. Based on the current legislation, statistical data and scientific publications on the topic under consideration, the author comes to a number of conclusions regarding the current state, prospects, legal regulation and the appropriate type of investment in the coal industry. In the course of the research, the author, in addition to general scientific methods of synthesis and analysis, used such special methods as historical, comparative-legal, formal-legal.

THE NEED TO IMPROVE CREDIT SUPPORT FOR INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM ENTERPRISES

This article examines the effectiveness and role of tourism, which contributes to the intensive development of the economy. One of the problems faced by the subjects of this activity, i.e. the problems of financing, is considered. Special attention is paid to the need for credit support, the effectiveness of which will lead to additional job creation, contributes to the increase of the country’s budget and will provide high-quality service for consumers of tourist products. The influence and countermeasures of the application of blockchain on the investment efficiency of cultural industry ——- DEA Analysis of listed companies based on blockchain concept

Block chain technology has changed the traditional digital economy, promoted the formation of a new value and trust system, and at the same time triggered the transformation of cultural industry, providing a means to improve investment efficiency. This paper takes the listed companies of cultural industry in the concept of block chain as the research sample, and uses DEA efficiency evaluation method to empirically analyze the change of cultural industry investment efficiency. The results show that: block chain technology has an impact on pure technical efficiency and also promotes profit growth. However, the development and application of block chain technology need to be more integrated with cultural industry investment to open up a new development path for the traditional information society.
